Schade!

Breakfast was lovely, good basic choice but they did make changes on our request (simple ones) as we don't have huge appetites. Good food we had a lovely dinner. Location was great for walking and Weymouth drive etc. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
Remember you are sleeping above a pub, wasn't too bad but worth a thought.

very clean fantastic atmosphere, staff was exceptional there was nothing that was too much.
there was nothing we didn’t like. we will definitely be booking to stay again.

A gorgeous and quiet stay above the pub. Delicious dinner and breakfast, a short walk to the beach and grassy coastal footpaths. The staff were super friendly and the room was very cosy. Loved the location- we visited Lulworth and Weymouth and stayed here just one night. The perfect getaway!

Great location on coastal path
Food is good
Drink selection good
Rooms v noisy. Located next to kitchen vents. Also staff entrance / exit through guest room area so doors banging until small hours.
Actually I left at 1am on last night & went home. Noise was quite bad.

The moment we arrived was amazing, the sun was just setting and the smugglers Inn was glowing! Plenty of good food options aswell as local beers. The room itself was perfect, many a niknak and nice and warm with teas and coffees and TV! The location is amazing and we watched the sunrise just past 5am in a 5 minute walk, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast gave perfect scrambled eggs! Can't thank you guys enough, we really enjoyed our stay :)

The pub could have been a little warmer

From first approach in the car park to leaving was an enjoyable experience.
we didn’t know the bar was closing early and we had to go to our rooms. It didn’t spoil our stay we made light of it but it would have been nice to have known when booking.

location and friendly staff

The food was excellent, both in the evening and at breakfast, but it was very standard pub food. It would be wonderful if places like this would give pre-booked guests the opportunity to order fresh fish or shellfish in advance, especially in winter when it is not too busy.
The bed was awful, too narrow, worn out and incredibly noisy springs. This is the reason I would not stay there again or any other hotels in the group, which I suspect from their web pages, have much the same furnishings.

Excellent all round value. Courteous and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast included. Food in restaurant of high standard
Didnt like fact that Booking.com DID NOT check with the accommodation regarding my request for ground floor rooms given my dog does not like stairs. This excellent all round place has NO ground floor rooms. This is not the first time Booking.com have lied regarding a request because THEY haven't bothered to check, but claim in email they have.

Location was good.
Dinner service on 1st night was very slow, we had to ask where our order was. It then came quickly but it clearly had been kept hot and we had been forgotten because it was over cooked. 2nd night ordered a simple salad and it was on the table quickly. Breakfast on both mornings was very slow - don't be in a hurry to get out if you stay there! They love sourdough so you get it even if you ask for another option for bread from the menu.

Lovely setting food was excellent.
Bar shut at 8 pm wasn't told until we arrived.

Staff were exceptional. Service out of this world, offered choice of room on arrival
There’s a kitchen extractor outside room 4. Make sure it’s turned off overnight or you’ll hear it

The friendly staff and the pretty bedroom with good shower/bath.
The character of the pub with good seating choice both inside and out .
Near to the sea and coastal walks
Loved it..would stay again.
Only would prefer a softer pillow. But I brought my goose down feather pillow with silk pillow case with me as few hotels pubs give feather pillows.

The Smuggler's Inn is in a gorgeous location just set back from the beach. The pub is full of character and nicely decorated. The menu has good vegan options for both dinner and breakfast. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helped us out with our baggage transfer as we were walking to our next destination.
The bed was quite squeaky and every time I moved in the night it creaked.

breakfast was very good
main menu lacked rice and pasta dishes.

Location, breakfast was excellent
Although we really like the smugglers inn and have been there before we still regards it as very expensive comparing it with other hotels that we have stayed in of a similar standard hotel.

Breakfasts were superb although service a bit slow. Lovely fresh fruit and croissants brought to table whilst waiting for breakfasts to be cooked.
Location onto coastal path excellent.
On our first night food choices on menu depleted somewhat. We were told there were supply issues. What we had was excellent and supply issues had been resolved the next day and we preordered our choice for evening meal at breakfast.
