Exceptional Service

We had a very nice stay in Porto at Pipa D'oro. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, living area was spacious with a Juliet balcony that had a nice view of the city. Exactly as pictured in the photos. Check in was super easy. Room was very clean, with some port wine to welcome us. Wifi was excellent. Parking was a short walk away, and reception made the arrangements, which was very helpful. Nic at the reception desk was an amazing host, and offered us great restaurant and tour recommendations which were very helpful for finding our way around the city. It was a short stay, but we feel like we got the full Porto experience. Thanks Nic! :)

Colazione abbondante e molto varia, con 2 colazioni si mangia tranquillamente in tre. Ottima l’idea del cestino colazione che si consuma in appartamento. Posizione fantastica per visitare Porto

Una unità interna di climatizzazione è da manutenzionare perché molto rumorosa, in particolare la notte. Un piccolo suggerimento per arrivare alla perfezione assoluta.

Ruhiges Stadtdomizil mit Aussicht

Sehr geräumiges Apartment mit toller Aussicht in genialer Lage. Es ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentral in einer Seitenstraße. Kleiner Supermarkt und netter Szenetreff in 300m am Miradouro do Passeio das Virtudes.

Schrankböden müssten mal befestigt werden, das war’s auch schon…

Amazing views and amazing breakfast!

The view! The view! The view! This property is so clean and well-maintained. It kind of tricks you because it looks old from the outside, but extremely modern on the inside. It is near plenty of attractions. The staff is incredibly kind and responsive. And can we talk about breakfast?! It is delivered every morning in a basket by the front door with enough food to feed 10 people! It was delicious and a great way to start our day! We also enjoyed drinks down the in basement. I would highly recommend this hotel!

I loved pretty much everything. I guess the one tiny issue I had was the size of the elevator, but there’s not much you can do about that. Be prepared to take a couple of trips if you have a lot of luggage. But this is not a deal breaker at all! Just something to be aware of.

Bon emplacement, confort et aux petits soins

A notre arrivée, le réceptionniste a pris le temps de nous accueillir et nous expliquer sur une carte et écrire toutes les activités a faire dans les environs, et nous recommander les restaurants adaptés a un régime alimentaire spécifique. La petite attention dans la chambre était également parfaite

Le dernier jour, il y avait énormément de parfum d'ambiance dans la chambre, et comme nous sommes rentrés tard, nous n'avons pas pu aérer la pièce : c'était a la limite du respirable malheureusement. Sinon tout était très bien.

la amabilidad de las personas en la recepcion y su disposicion a resolver problemas

las primeras dos noches dormimos en una pieza con una solucion muy rara e incomoda para usar cama (demasiado baja) y mesita de comedor (demasiado alta).

Average. Overpriced

The place was very clean and really well located

It is advertised as a heated swimming pool. This is the MAIN reason we chose the place because we have two kids who love to swim. Even though we requested repeatedly the pool was not heated. It was freezing. It was the same temperature as our ice Bath at home. This was extremely disappointing and my kids did not get the opportunity to swim. There were quite a as few faults in the room as well. The oven door was held on with masking tape, the towel hooks in the bathroom were broken and the lift did not go all the way to the ground floor so we had to carry the pushchair up the first flight of stairs.

Idealer zentraler Ausgangspunkt, um Porto zu erkunden

Tolle Lage, sehr zentral, alles perfekt zu Fuß zu erreichen, toller Dachpool mit Aussicht auf den Duoro, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, tolle Tipps erhalten für unser erstes Mal in Porto.

Unser Balkon („Appartement mit Flussblick“) war so klein, dass man gerade mal drauf stehen kann, außerdem pustet die Klimaanlage des Hotel, die dort direkt neben ist, ständig heiße Luft raus, so dass wir den Balkon nur zum Trocknen von Handtüchern genutzt haben.

A beautifully appointed room with a view and a bonus was the pool.

The location was excellent. Close to very good restaurants and bars and a fabulous view of the river from our room.

Lovely apartment and great pool

The apartment we had was lovely. It was clean and a good size for three people. The pool area was great and was able to use it after we had checked out.

The room didn’t have a safe and no option at reception either.

Relaxing and comfortable

It was cleverly and beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was great and maintained well. The bar was close by and the option to order drinks to have by the pool was great.

Not much to complain really. There was a slight musty smell in the room.. but once we open the windows this was gone.

Lovely apartment from which to explore a great city

Great apartment, nice and clean, good facilities, helpful staff. Excellent locatiion!

It was good, but they left a basket on my door, I waited long for it until noticed it was already there.

The patio had flies and they entered the room if you left the window opened.

Great place for a short break.

Great location, spacious accommodation, great view. Reception brilliant and very helpful.

Nothing - the weather was a little wet and it is quite a steep climb up to the accommodation, but that is not the accommodations fault! It would have been nice to have a small table on the balcony.

I love EVERYTHING!! location, cleanliness, views, staff, restaurant and the apartment amenities

it’s not that I didn’t like something… I have suggestions. 1. a safe for passports. 2. my bed was a little hard for my taste. But I loved everything else.
