There were games available for everybody to use.
The hotel feels run down. In addition the staff doesn’t put in any particular effort.

El desayuno
La habitación es como muy antigua pero estaba limpia, podrían renovarlas un poco, sobre todo el baño.

Sehr netter Pool, super Barkeeper, nettes Personal. Man kann Affen und Papageien direkt vom Hotel aus sehen.

It's the second time I've stayed here and I really like this hotel. The location is great, quiet and surrounded by jungle, with a nice pool and restaurant area. The staff are fantastic! Especially the receptionist Lidia who was really helpful during our stay :-)

Breakfast awesome, staff awesome,
Facility is pretty run down, and it does not look like any one cares to fix things

Good location for visiting Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Rooms were a good size and clean. The pool is nice and the staff are all super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious.
The entrance to the hotel is a very steep hill that’s very difficult to drive up-we almost didn’t make it on one of the tries. The wifi is not great, we had to use our data. There are very few vegetarian options for dinner.

Enjoyed the pool, loved that the AC worked so well in the rooms as well. Good location in quepos, we did drive there but gave us a good base location. Staff was friendly and helpful, would return.

Favi, the bartender/mixologist makes amazing drinks. Our suite was much larger than we anticipated. Amazing pool and chill zone. Amazing staff!
Nothing to complain about.

The staff is very friendly, the included breakfast is nice and you can customize it a bit to your tasting. The cocktails were great for a fair price and the pool is very relaxing under a lot of nature. The room had A/C, a spacious bathroom and a balcony with a table, chairs and a hammock. You could hear the monkeys howling at night and watch the birds in the morning.
We had a second floor room and so we had to climb the stairs with our luggage but nothing too harsh, just unconvenient.

Fantastic breakfast. Well located with buses outside to the National Park and Quepos. Friendly staff. Nice to have a larger pool.

Lovely pool area, great bar and selections of unique drinks to facility.
The driveway is only accessible one way, the slope of it would damage a car. No one would come up driveway, so we met all tours at the end of the driveway.
The restaurant claims it is open from 12 for lunch, with a tour booked to leave at 1, we thought we'd have time to eat. Not only were we told it wasn't open until 1, but when approached Andre, apparently the owners son, we were told he would talk to the new cook and try to arrange something. The staff proceeded to make several meals which they walked away and served to Andre. At 12:45 the staff tried to hand us lunch menus, we wouldn't have any time to eat. Clearly no arrangements made on our behalf. Andre's lunch looked great.

Big room. Friendly staff. Good parking. Good breakfast.
WiFi was not great.
Hotel is on a steep hill, no problem if you have a car or don't mind getting the bus but it's difficult to walk anywhere.
No information in rooms re breakfast times, happy hour, check out times. Would benefit from having an information pack in room with above details and local attractions.

Excellent location and great breakfast. All the receptionists were very accommodating to any and all requests.

This was comfortably the best shower we had in CR. The room and hotel has everything it is just a bit outdated.
Most of the employees seemed very uninterested. Checking in seemed to be an unwelcome distraction of the guy's phone and the bar employees seemed not to care too much (made good cocktails though). The exception were the breakfast ladies, they were great!

Very nice place to stay with nice people ... and pura vida Fabio, an artist in his field, with whom we had a lot of fun

The bungalows are located near the main gate. It is noisy from all the bus, truck and motobike on the steep hill.

Location is on a steep hill but the bus stop is just outside and down the hill 30 metres or so, very frequent and very cheap to use. Or use taxis if you prefer, also not expensive
Fabian and May in the bar area are great and take pride in every cocktail they make. Best Pina Colada we've had in years. Food is also good and not too pricey.
Pool is plenty big enough and all was nice and quiet after about 10pm every day.
We stayed just shy of a week and enjoyed our time here.
Wi fi was a bit hit and miss at times. Especially in the room, better at the bar or pool area.
Breakfast fruit offering could be better, maybe a full banana instead of a slice? And some melon would be good.
And I guess I would say, like others, that the rooms, furniture and pool tables are looking pretty old and tired now, could do with a refresh, maybe one room at a time. Easy things like put some towel hooks up in the bathroom.
Overall though we thought it was good value and we enjoyed our stay.
