Great place in a small town.

People were fantastic. Very friendly and we really appreciated it. We would go back just for them.

Very old furnitures and appliances but you could see that on the photos.

Aching back and lost for dinner.

The bad beds were compensated for by offering the breakfast for free. Bike could be stored securely.

The worst thing of the stay were the beds, ie the most important Reason to stay in a hotel. Completely worn out with spirals poking your back. Turning caused my better half to be woken, goodbye to romance. There was no option to eat because of lack of staff about which the receptionist complained. Doubtful whether there will be a next time for us here.

Very friendly staff, very nice location in the center of Elten. Perfect stay for business or private traveling and relaxation. 2nd time I stayed at this hotel I will be back. Thank you!

A really enjoyable 2 days in a lovely village.

Everything. Reception was warm. Owner and team welcoming. Food was delicious. Restaurant and menu was good. Room was comfortable and decor was as advertised (the Seventies). Breakfast was perfect for us and the best for the price for anywhere we stayed over 2 weeks. The locality was well known to us and nostalgic. Safe locked car park. Market position great. We would come again. Thank you to our hosts.

As an elderly couple we requested a shower in preference to a bath. The shower was provided but as is not unusual, required standing in the bath. We managed it with difficulty, but not a massive issue. And space probably prohibited any other way of providing it.

Very nice stay, good for a long weekend with you partner or friends. Good breakfast, parking on the property, next time I will try the restaurant.

Very good

Great classic style hotel where the guest is treated as a GUEST. Nice, fresh rooms with excellent beds and shower. Cosy seats for a drink.

Hello. My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. It was a quick walk to the train station and ice cream across the street which my daughter loved. It was a a few days of perfection. Cannot wait to stay again in the near future.

Good location with car parking available. Comfortable, clean room and an excellent breakfast. The owner was personable and very helpful. We would choose to stay at the hotel again.

Great all round hotel and restaurant

I love this hotel right in the middle of the town. The rooms are great. The food is excellent and you can eat outside and view the world go by. It is used by the locals which is a very good sign. The staff are polite and the service quick. The proprieter speaks perfect English.

I had a nice stay in this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff are very nice and friendly, the breakfast was good quality, and the location is very good.

Absolutely terrific experience

Restaurant food and service were exceptional. Hotel owner/manager was extremely helpful in enabling us to attain complicated unexpected further travel requirements. Hope to return again soon. Highly recommend the Hotel-Restaurant Wanders

A decent place with good value for money and friendly staff :)

Friendly personnel and pretty good room. The bathroom was very small, but big enough. Breakfast was also really good. Perfectly placed in the town center. Good value for money.

Superb

I had a very comfortable and spacious room. Very clean and very quiet. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly and very generous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was absolutely nothing that wasn't nice.

Fantastic family run hotel

The host made us very welcome and shared the history of the hotel with us. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks outside overlooking the town square before moving into the restaurant for an enjoyable meal with excellent service from the host. The hotel has secure parking which meant we felt save leaving most of are things in the car.

Elten in the times of Covid

Everything else. The owner is a real gentleman who knows a lot about the history of his town and is the seventh generation of his family to run a hotel on this site. The room was more than adequate. A mini bar would be nice but it isn't a deal breaker.
