The hotel staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. My room, the amenities and hotel facilities were great and the added access to the executive lounge was amazing. I had challenges with the aircon in my room and I appreciated the attention and assistance of the staff to help resolve my challenges. I absolutely enjoyed the Ghanaian food and had a great time, pity it was too short. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay!
Nothing, I had a great stay.

Great hotel. The staff were all amazing. The rooms were nice. The restaurant was very good and the staff there were great.
The breakfast bar was unbelievably good.
It smelled like someone was smoking in their room close to ours.
The bathroom sink needs a drain stopper. My wedding ring, just a rubber one, went down the drain and I couldn’t retrieve it.

I am glad the hotel met my expectations. I have heard experiences where hotels are rated high but they turn out really bad. An easy 8.5 rating for me.
Nothing really. It was all good. Perhaps because I spent more time inside of the room than walking about. It was good. Really nice art works around too, I must mention.

We had an extremely enjoyable visit to Accra, much helped by our stay in the Movenpick. The staff are plentiful, pleasant and welcoming. The lobby is fragrant and inviting, the breakfast was of a high standard with good quality breads and pastries and lots of variety. The bar is a good location to relax over a nightcap and the area surrounding the hotel is busy, clean and safe. A nice touch is the Chocolate hour which took place each evening in the lobby, offering a selection of complimentary choclates to try.
The pool is fantastic. We appreciated the very comfortable loungers and pool service, some of the waiters even wore roller blades! Although not a deep pool it is well maintained and a lovely spot to spend a sunny afternoon in Accra after some sight-seeing.
We had an issue with our bedroom -the fan did not work in the bathroom, resulting in wet walls, fogged up mirrors and an increasingly musty smell in the room. After two days we found the bed sheets a little damp and a definite mouldy smell in the room when entering. I must commend the hotel on how quickly and effectively they resolved this issue, offering us a choice of a new room on two other floors. The second room, on a lower floor, had better ventilation and no musty smell.
The other disappointment was that the main restuarant was closed for renovations. We were not informed of this when booking or before arrival. It meant our choices for eatting in the hotel were a little more limited and the temporary venue set up for breakfast perhaps not as visually inviting.
Finally, when we asked for transport options to get about the city the only response from the transport desk was to offer a hotel car at a cost of 40 dollars. We eneded up securing our own transport taking taxis and cabs, at a fraction of the cost. We would have appreciated an easier way to secure travel from the hotel, for example taxis waiting outside the hotel lobby might be a useful and welcome option for guests.

it’s a nice and big hotel. quite accomodating. rooms were good etc. loved the breakfast Buffett😊 - it’s what made me leave and come back. overall the hotel felt comfortable
the housekeeping staff didn’t at times realise to leave 2 bottles of water since we were two but that’s minor. the Dine in menu could be varied but also we didn’t mind so much.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness and proximity to some of Accra's social hotspots.
They should have more local food menu options

The staff was amazing, they ensured we were taking care of and the property was very up to date and provided us with the perfect honeymoon.
I would have like the air conditioning to have the ability to go a little colder on the thermostat.
