Breakfast was quite good, but the entrance road was not good
It'll be perfect if the resort has a pool

Family run simple rustic resort with no frills. It is a little isolated but that's why we stayed. No pretentiousness about this simple resort which was great value for money and a chill out after our 3 weeks site seeing.
There are no shops nearby

White sandy beach, we had a 5 year old and she would have loved to just spend all her time in the sea or on the swing.
The staff were amazing, Luom helped with any queries, always with a smile. Plus he makes nice cocktails 😊.
The food was really nice and reasonably priced, especially the shrimp with garlic , breakfast was included and good.
We were upgraded free of charge as they couldn't accommodate an extra bed.
Beer was 20k vnd, however fridge in room meant you could buy your own if you wanted.
It's at the end of a long bumpy dirt road, some taxis won't go down, 20 min walk, however for us not really a problem.
The play area is old and not well maintained, but not really necessary with the beach.

fantastic location and beach/ sea combination. Quiet and friendly!

it’s on the beach, we had a bungalow which are located in the back but still had a sea view

The beach
You MUST have a motorcycle as its miles from any restaurants, supermarket etc and not a lot available at resort.1 type of soft drink at the bar,Coke.Didnt enjoy any of the food from the menu so if you are thinking of going nowhere and relying on the resort, forget it.Our room was very dated and tired looking with cracks in walls. Witnessed some people leaving early as they didn't want to rent motorcycles so felt too limited by what is available at the resort which I totally understood. We had a motorcycle but is still quite a slog on a very long dusty road to go anywhere.

Hotel nice, with lovely staff. (and cute puppies at the time we've stayed) - Unfortunately the beach is gone due to the mammut 'disneyland-a-like project' around the corner. You'll have to paddle or walk southwards, to experience this beautiful longbeachfeel. There is no beach connected to the hotel anymore, despite the pictures. The way to get there is an off-road adventure as local authorities stopped the onsite hotels to get a proper tarmacroad. In rainy season almost unreachable for a usual cab. (Although for us it was great fun with two scooters and five persons.) The food was ok, we rather went elsewhere around, which is quiet a ride.
The immense infrastructure projects all around the island will hopefully stop, before there is only overtourism existing. Vinland's 'Disneyland' was still under construction, but we got a good glimpse on future mass tourism, which might be attractive for many people and bring a prosperous future to ... hopefully the local people (?) ...

Warm welcome from host, direct access to a very beautiful and well kept beach full of resources and with little to no people. The food was very good and quite affordable. Very good value for money, especially on the island.
The 200m mud road to arrive is terrible, like a river of mud with hidden rocks. Our taxi driver with a brand new Toyota Fotuner was extremely upset and asked for extra charge (the way from the airport was already 16 dollars). On the plus side, they rent a scooter there which is the real good way to get out - if you are a skilled driver, that is

Everything! This resort is a paradise. Peaceful, nice beach, good food, very nice and kind staff. Our room was amazing, big, facing the sea and very comfortable.
We were looking for some relaxing days and we absolutely got them here.
The staff helped us with everything: motorbike rental and free taxi to the airport. They have been amazing.
Very good breakfast, and an extensive menu.
Thanks for everything! We recommend this resort to everybody!

Location was super peaceful and relaxing with brilliant Internet! The staff always wanted to help and were very supportive.
A little remote from other places.

The resort is beachfront and quite remote so the beach is clean and very beautiful. It is quite quiet there.
The food and the motorbike rental were quite expensive for what you get. There was also no hot shower.

The beach is just gorgeous. Beautiful hidden small cove right by a bigger beach. Clean, shallow beautiful sunsets... Absolutely perfect for doing nothing. The manager Luom stood our doing absolutely everything to offer an excellent service responding to all our questions and requests.
The facilities aren't anything fancy bit they are functional and more than enough for a few days by the beach. Access to the resort is also a bit "uncomfortable" if you are planning on renting a motorcycle and explore the island.
4.5 / 5.0
The resort is a little far from the tourist hotspots, means a silent place. Perfect environment in case you are with kids or you just want to relax.
Nevertheless you reach each place of the island within 1 hour by taxi or motorbike.
The manager and the staff is very kind, helpful and busy.
As sometimes in Asia, there are small things either damaged and nobody cares or just untidy.

Great location at the beach.
