The shower and bath both need attention very slow flow - took an hour to run a shallow bath The twin bedroom had balls of hair on the floor The dining chairs need replacing or recovering Everything in the fridge froze

It was ok but for us wld not return as negatives outweighed

clean, handy to town, modern and updated with nice fittings, plenty of appliances, hot water was good, good to have parking off the street, Hazel was responsive to our enquiries and this was appreciated,

poor lighting, little natural light, lacking in decent size cereal bowls and cld do with more cutlery, bathtub was yellow, no instructions for wifi or how to use tv so spent a lot of time to figure it out and shldnt have too when some instructions wld have helped quicker. lots of connection issues with wifi/tv (kept saying weak signal), no throw blankets (got cold a lot), no top sheet on bed, tried to sleep in couldn’t due to chain saw going off for about 30mns, wifi instructions need to be more obvious (small/tiny sticker on greetings board - wld not know to look there as most places put these in obvious places). throw pillows and bed runners are scratchy and unpleasant to use. couches/sofas were awful as no support and you keep sliding out of sofa coz of the material -not to mention the sofas were cold/freezing. heating was disappointing as quickly found out the auto setting seemed to be set for only 1hr after we arrived (we arrived 7:30pm-8pm) and from then the apartment was cold and again in the morning cold, and cold again when we got home later that night so set it manually. coffee plunger was broken and so could not use coffee grounds at all. lastly cleaning, I was extremely disappointed that we had to clean as much as we were expected too on our holiday, it felt like we were reducing the cost of the cleaner so they didn’t have to clean for as long (less cleaning time) and especially considering the price of this accommodation per night I felt this shld have been included. we spent a lot of our time cleaning, so was not happy. happy to leave it clean and tidy but extra requests were we felt was in excess.

We had a great stay and found the apartment to be very comfortable and homely. The kitchen is really well finished and well equipped with everything you'd need.

Realy nice flat for 2 couples, comfy beds!

Nice and modern, easy to find and a nice stay. Short walk to the city. Everything we needed, even washer/dryer. Nice parkinglot.

Very nice appartment overall.

Rather modern apartment and everything very nice and clean overall,

There are details that could be better. The shower somehow has low pressure. It was difficult to control the temperature of the apartment. Although it was not a major issue given the weather we had. There was no sponge to clean the dishes There was coffee but no adequate machine to drink the coffee with. ...

Skye in July! #2022

Definitely a home from home. Ideally located for our tour of Skye and Isle of Raasay! Loved the basket with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and oats. Milk and orange juice in the fridge was a nice touch. Beds were so comfy and towels so fluffy. Great location to be able to walk into Portree for supplies or local restaurants! Would definitely stay again :-)

A beautiful modern apartment with luxurious and tasteful appointments

Breakfast foods (oatmeal, biscuits, orange juice) were set out for us!

Convenient for Portree and a cosy home to stay for a while.

While the kitchen facilities and supplies were pretty good we did need to buy some clleaning cloths to wipe down the surfaces, etc.

Great place to stay on Skye with kids

This was a really comfortable place to stay with kids on Skye. I really appreciated having a separate washer and dryer. The apartment has everything you need to cook, which is important because it seemed impossible to get food in Portree. Super easy check in, two bedrooms is great when traveling with kids. The host were super nice and gave great instructions.

Considering the price of our stay I expected much better .Total disappointment

The kitchen

It would have been useful if I knew that the bathroom was downstairs . As a lady of 72 who unfortunately has to visit the loo a fair few times at night I would never have booked it.The couches were uncomfortable. The view out the back was just a untidy messy excuse for a garden.The front although tidier wasnt exactly inviting. It’s called an apartment but I would class it as a very very small bungalow.

It’s a nice cosy apartment, walkable from the city center.

We couldn’t find a coffee maker and the dinner table was sticky. also my friend found some little rubbish under the nightstand, when we arrived.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay in a convenient location

The location to Portree centre was very good and convenient. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. Parking was on site and felt secure Excellent wifi

Took us a while to work out how to use the washing machine and dryer - a mini guide might have been useful! A full length mirror and clothes horse would have been useful.

Its location was perfect

Overall the property was fantastic, just a few small things such as a light fixture flashing when on and the french press was faulty.

Exceptional

The property was immaculately presented and far above the standards of my usual accommodations while travelling. The location was excellent for going to Portree socially, and for working on the island in general. The process was easy, from start to finish.

The bed was a little too short for my unnaturally tall body. That's not rare though.

Loads of attractive features but the bath was a specific ask and no issues mentioned.

Excellent location and the decor was very well presented

The hot water pressure was extremely poor. Unable to use the bath which was a prerequisite ask at the time of the booking. We would not have selected the apartment had we been properly advised. The handbasin in the bathroom is problematic and has a drainage issue. Cannot be used effectively for washing. The bath and surround could have been cleaner. The heating switched itself off a 9pm and would not come back on. So very cold sleep (end of October, beginning November months.
