La decoración muy rustica y original. Tranquilo

Me gustó mucho lo bonito que era y su ubicación tranquila
No había nadie en recepción en ningún momento
5.0

Pretty village. Good breakfast.
No wall insulation. Kept awake by late arrivals

Nothing
When we arrived at the "hotel" it was locked up. Eventually got through to someone on the phone who came and opened the "hotel", showed us to our room and then left - there were no facilities, bar, restaurant etc. No private parking. Dreadful.

The property was stylish, clean, and in an amazingly beautiful location! The breakfast was delicious. The breakfast took a little longer than expected but that wasn't a problem, we weren't in a hurry!
The rooms were quite warm on arrival and the windows didn't open very well because of the curtain rods, but after a while they cooled down.

No hotel staff available during the whole stay. only a telephone number for you to ring in a remote are where signal is on and off.. no restaurant, no way to have breakfast, coffee or even a glass of water. not only at the hotel, in the whole village, no shops, restaurants or bar opened.

The room was comfertable. We had a good night sleep. The shower was okay but the door was very hard to open.
The room was a bit noisy from other guests.
The entrance was with a code and a not very easy door. At the reception was nobody, just a card with our name and a key. We had to search for the room. Even the nex day we did not see anybody and we were late informed bij e-mail that te breakfast started at 09.00 We where traveling trough and went at 08.30 uur without breakfast because the restaurant was still closed.

Super location, great breakfast and clean room
The heating in the premise was way to high in my opinion and room included. We had to switch it off all together. Also, our key was waiting for us at reception but no one was there and front door looked like it was closed. Finally, the pinpoint on the map is wrong but we asked in the village for directions.

nothing
they were closed when I arrived they had no lights outside, not signage to indicate where reception was. it looked closed for the season, like a ski chalet in October. I called and there was no reply. next day they took payment even though we were messaged that I had to pay cash on arrival. struggling to get back the money they stole.
complete disgrace the worst hotel experience ever.

Beautiful views and quirky old world charm
Unfortunately it was a national holiday so no staff to great us when we arrived. We found our room after a short search and luckily bought sandwiches with us. We had a lovely jacuzzi hot tub but didn’t know how to switch it off and it kept turning itself on every half hour through the night which meant virtually no sleep all night. I did ask for a slight reduction in price for the next time we stayed but although they apologised they did not offer any reduction, disappointed with reply so won’t be going back.

No restaurant and nowhere to get an evening meal.
No staff on site when we arrived.

Clean room, comfortable bad, big room, nice bathroom.
- Nobody at the reception when we arrived and afterwards
- I booked a room with balcony, got the keys to a room with no balcony (the key was left at the reception with my name on it, near two other names & keys attached. I called, no answear. When finally meeting someone in the morning at the reception, we were asked to pay for a room with balcony. The receptionist lady said we should have said we want to change the room beforehand. Of course, but to whom?? Anyway, after a long discussion using google translate - as there was no English speaker available and little interest in customer care, we were finally charged correctly
- Poor breakfast, the person in the restaurant seemed to be bothered by people getting in; hard to communicate, although in other spanish places we managed to have a friendly communication, no matter of our poor Spanish language
- This place could be a treasure, hopefully the hospitality will improve in the future

the staff
The bedroom was less big than in the photos. It had not Mountain View’s. The breakfast had so little options

The bed is humongous and very comfortable. The linen, mattress and pillows are delightful. The bathroom and shower are charming, and the toiletries provided enough for one night. We liked the detail of the toothbrush and toothpaste since you don't see it often anymore. It's convenient. Towels, room and facilities are spotless, and we had a good booking experience overall.
Garganta de Los Montes is a beautiful small town surrounded by nature. Very peaceful stay in general and I would recommend it. Expectations from the ad need to be managed better and then it will be fine.
The room we stayed in is literally at street level, with neither blinds nor air conditioning, so it's boiling. There are blackout curtains, but you cannot open the window without leaving the curtains open. The bathroom window faces the main hotel entrance, which gives you no privacy. There isn't a security locker, and the staff wasn't providing comprehensive info ahead of arrival. Not the type of communication you receive from a 4 star. We only realised it was a rural 3* upon arrival, so it's incorrectly marked on this platform. Regardless, not much spirit when it comes to customer service. Breakfast doesn't offer suitable vegetarian alternatives to cured meats.

The staff , the bed , the breakfast and everything else was excellent
We went during the week in winter and was very empty , hot water takes long time to come out in the shower

Beautiful stylish hotel, we had a lovely room with a hot tub. Very tasty breakfast, underground parking and very helpful staff. The location was dramatic with wonderful views and we had a fantastic stay.
The only thing was the air conditioning unit in the room was not very powerful so a fan would have been useful.
