Casa preciosa con panorámicas increíbles para pasar un atardecer de película

La dueña es un encanto nos invitó a Limoncello casero en su espectacular terraza. La zona de piscina y terraza comunitaria es muy acogedora y con unas vistas alucinantes. Dentro de la casa hay un ventanal enorme con vistas increibles también.

Los techos son demasiado bajos dentro de la casa

Wonderful time!

Amazing view! Villa Walter is a very special place with a truly endearing host. Ornella truly wants her guests to enjoy their stay and does what she can to help you. The bedrooms we’re comfortable, the pool perfect for our kids to cool off in and her food was delicious. It was a short drive to the St Agata, the nearest town with grocery, takeout restaurants and dine in restaurants. The drive to Sorrento to park in order to ferry to Capri or elsewhere was also very easy!

As others have stated, it is not the most up to date but we didn’t mind because the location, view and great AC make up for it. The upstairs apartment shower was a bit difficult to use but again, we travel a lot and made adjustments. The area is perfect for renting a car only. No need to rely on the bus or taxis as they are infrequent and more expensive because it’s farther from Sorrento. The area is worth all of this as it’s not teaming with tourists!

Perfect villa, good location for a stay around Amalfi.

Orella, the owner of Villa Walter, our host, is the sweetest host one could have. She helped us in so many ways and made our stay extremely comfortable. Her suggestions were spot on. One night we sat for her home cooked meal service that she does for a cost and it was WOW. Her skills and knowledge are outmatched. She makes her own LIMONCELLO (must try). Orella helped us get everything we needed, including a tour to Capri, car for rent and other basic things. You can ask her for anything and she will make it happen. BEST HOST.

Great location, great views, reasonable price

Great location, stunning views. Generally peaceful (except one night when there was a massive party next door). Ornella and Sergei very helpful and friendly. Apartment was spacey and comfortable

Decor and furniture was a bit outdated but fine. Bathroom could do with a remodel, but again it was fine. Pool wasn’t huge but kids enjoyed it.

An amazing retreat with breath-taking views, unparrelel a Italian feasts - like staying at grandmas in the best of ways!

Amazing and unforgettable views of Sorrento with Mont Vesuvius looming in the distance. our apt was comfortable and spacious with an AC unit (perfect for 100 degree heat). We took others advice and had the lovely and welcoming Ornello (and Sergei) make us a multi-course Italian feast with wine on her terrace. her culinary talents are unbeatable and we will never forget this incredibly special experience! (do not skip this! everyone should have Ornello’s food!) In the high heat we loved a dip in the pool (small above ground unit perfect for a dip or for kids). sit poolside with a beer and you will be in heaven!

As other reviews warned (and we learned the hard way), you absolutely need a car to access this property.. Ornello and Sergei went out of their way to help us navigate the bus schedule but twice we were stuck in town for 2-3 hours waiting…and waiting. The local busses are just too unreliable. the property is very comfortable though not updated. the apts are well equipped and private, but you will be staying in your soon-to-be-favorite Italian grandmothers apt. - not an updated hotel, which is part of this properties charm.

the scenery is breathtaking, ornellas cooking is to die for and they can’t do enough for you

We felt more like house guests and really enjoyed our stay. Would like to return and will recommend to friends.

Nice warm welcome. Ornella sat us down and helped us plan out our days. The size of the apartment was good, the kitchen was clean, air conditioning/heater in each room. Ornella is a great cook and will cook lunch or dinner for you or you can learn to cook with her, she had bus tickets ready for us to get to the train station, made sure we got on the correct bus line. This is a great location to see Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Naples. Loved her cats!

We booked our trip (end of March) with some rain in the forecast. We had one day that was very windy, rainy and cold. We felt a draft in the apartment and had to keep the heat on and still felt a chill. We did have lots of warm blankets on all the beds. The view from our room was amazing even with bad weather.

Superb

First of all, I would like to make special highlight for sharing this Villa Walter what I had experienced before. This view out of the window was really awesome, speechless all the time whenever I had opened the window for taking a breath in the morning. Even sunset of view, it is really amazing view. During the stay, I had taken every morning, evening or night view from the window with my mobile camera, but the mobile camera performance cannot be capable to taking this beautiful view properly. The hostess(Ornella) is really warm-heart person what I had met to take travel in Italy. Every time she would like to give certain helpful information to take nice trip around Sorrento or Amalfi, Pompei, etc. It is really helpful to take certain advice about it. I got two special things from her when I arrived with long distance drive around 10hrs from the Netherlands. Thank you so much for that, Ornella. It cannot be an unforgettable memory about it.

Nothing. Only it is typical Italian road, especially touristic area. The parking is only problem but no big game changer of my travel. I cannot imagine the front of road from Villa how many cars can be possible to park.

We saw Vesuvio from our bedroom window. Ornella's hospitality and Italian dishes are brilliant. I absolutely recommend Villa Walter:-) We stayed there in November and were not lucky with the weather, but I guess in spring or summer it must be even more unforgettable. We are definitely planning to come back!

Superb

The views were GORGEOUS. Senora Ornella is an AMAZING HOSTESS. Her home-cooked meals were THE BEST we’ve had in Italy (in 5 months). We ate so much delicious food; reasonably priced for what you get and totally worth every cent. We were welcomed with fresh wine and peaches, and pastry upon arrival . We chose to eat dinner at the B&B the first night and it was so amazing we ate all our dinners there. Senora Ornella gave my son and I a cooking lesson (30€ per hour) which we enjoyed very much. Ornella gave us so much attention, as if she was our Nonna showing us lots of love.

The apartment could be cleaner with more attention to the washroom.

Excellent stay

The villa is in a perfect place to take in the fantastic view of Vesuvius (you will need a car to get in to Sorrento). The apartment we stayed in was a little tired but was spotlessly clean and the hosts Ornella and Sergei are very friendly and really helpful. We arrived late on our first day and Ornella provided us with a complimentary wonderful homemade quiche to eat and a bottle of wine which we hadn't asked for and she didn't need to do so we were very grateful. The breakfast was plentiful and I would recommend it (the view from the dinning room is excellent). Ornella also cooked dinner (all 5-courses) for us whilst we were there and it was great- I didn't want to eat for a week afterwards! I would definitely recommend this villa and its very friendly hosts.
