The proximity of the ocean was magical. Reasonable price. Kind host who unfortunately doesn't speak English but thanks to sign language and google translator we were fine.
The matress on the double bed could be changed, it Is a bit used and not very comfortable. I missed a cutting board in the kitchen.

Room was large and clean with a balcony view of ocean. I’m walking the Camino and the hotel is across the street from the path. Good restaurant steps away. Owner of hotel was SUPER NICE. I sat on the beach and watched the sunset.

Nothing.

Friendly reception, good value, right on the beach, truly exceptional restaurant next door.
Booked a room and a flat, it was not clear that the two were in separate locations quite far apart.

perfect location on beach and Camino path

The location was perfect at a good price. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The price seemed appropriate for the location when compared to other options in the area.
Adjusting the water temperature in the shower was interesting - way too hot, then way too cold, then no pressure at all, but we made it work. The bed/mattress was comfy except for having a plastic covering over the mattress (to protect the mattress) but made sleeping a bit warm and moist.

Its small family run place. Lots of space and two beds. Its has great view to sea and secured private parking. Its not a luxury hotel so everything is simple but functioning.
It would be nice to have more than one roll of paper, a hair dryer and chair in balcony but its just simple things, nothing major.

the property is directly off Camino so for people walking the Camino to Santiago or Fatima it’s well placed
The shower had a mind of its own in terms of hot water and drainage. Neither worked well and consistently.

it is right in the Camino and the owner is nice.
the shower did not drain the water out and the drain cover was off. this must have been a problem for a while. there is no signage to indicate the facility. the street number is posted. A man working g across the street showed us to the door and wanted 2 euros. the sheets are fleece. I’d prefer fresh crisp cotton sheets. there are only two rooms at the facility.

It was just a room. What else does one expect?

The property is located right on the Camino route. An easy 20 km walk from Porto. The bedroom and private bath were very clean and comfortable.
The owner appears to live on the main floor. We did not feel the kitchen was accessible as portrayed in the photos.

Comfortable bed and good shower. Nice hosts, but with limited English. Well located property right on coastal road and right on Coastal Camino Portugués. Property is across road from the beach, which is fairly rocky. Excellent restaurant, Pe no Mar approximately 1/4 mile up road.
Small, spartan room. Though right on the Camino, we had trouble finding the property. There is an address on a sign on the road, it is not apparent which property it refers to. The property is called Casa Velha but has no sign as such. Had to call owner who arrived about 1/2 hour later to let us in.
The owner should put the address at the entrance to the building and put its name on the building. Also the owner needs to add some hooks to the walls for hanging clothes, etc., as probably most people staying at the property are walking the Camino and Camino walkers are always in need of some place to hang things.

We had a warm welcome from the man who operates the place. We could not speak the same language, but he came out to the street to show us where to go for lunch. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the place just had a nice feel to it.
Nothing

The owner was out on the street front looking for us or we may have never found the place. Nice people but very basic. The bed was find and the bathroom also.
No soap in the bathroom. The door to the balcony was the only "window". No breakfast. Very basic accomodations. It was fine but we during our El Camino journey we stayed in so many lovely small places that were so much nicer and not much more expensive.

Close to the Camino route that I was walking.
I said I would arrive between 3 and 4 pm but got there at 1:30 and there was nobody to let me in till 3:00pm.

Location. Proprietors went out of his and her way to help us with our laundry. Very friendly.
Not a dislike. Was a very simple room.

Casa Velha was our first overnight stop (great location)having walked from Porto Cathedral on the Camino. We had a lovely reception from the owner who was kind enough to drive us to a local supermarket for provisions . (There was not a breakfast or restaurant option at Casa Velha).
Facilities were adequate but clean.
Introduced to excellent restaurant Loureiro's run by Paulo next door but one to Casa Velha..
Nothing really.
