Need a break? Come to paradise and stay in our OCEANFRONT home any time between Nov 11-22 for just $249/night, or fill a gap for 4 nights between Nov 27-Dec 1 for just $169/night.
This COMPLETELY remodeled & refurnished (April 2022) 1-bedroom, OCEANFRONT ground-floor condo has a king bed as well as a sleeper sofa in the living room - great for those who wish to sleep separately OR bring up to 2 extra persons. This condo is priced for 2 persons - we'll add $42/pp/night for each additional guest over 2, up to 4 guests total. NOTE: This will be tight quarters, however and is not recommended. A child under the age of two at the time of arrival will count towards the total number of guests allowed, however the extra fee will not be charged for the child.

Kihei Sands is a very comfortable condo right next to the ocean. It is clean, nicely decorated & recently remodeled, furniture looks new. I am a second generation guest. I was there with my parents in 1999, and back again about 15 years ago. My recent stay in June of 2024 was very enjoyable. My husband and I did the road to Hana, a sunset dinner cruise and went to Nakalele Blowhole, north of Kihei. We also did some shopping at nearby markets. We loved having a first floor unit with a view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time on our patio enjoying the nice weather and sound of the ocean. Love that there was plenty of tables and lounges for people to enjoy, plus boogie boards, kids sand toys, books, BBQ's and various other items to use while there. The staff were very friendly.

This was our 3rd time to Maui & staying at Kihei Sands and our 2nd time in this condo. We love sitting on the lanai watching the waves crash and the beach is just steps away. The condo is clean and well stocked. The King size bed is very comfortable and you can see the beach from the bedroom window. Its lovely to open the window and listen to the waves crashing. The property is clean and well maintained. It is wonderful to have management on-site. They are so helpful & personable. The pool is what I enjoy most and you are right on the beach so its the best of both worlds. The pool is clean, well taken care of and rarely busy. There are community floaties to use or you can also purchase at the ABC store down the street and they will fill them for you for an extra $1. Its a short walk down sugar beach to the ABC store, small farmers market, Kihei bakery & my favorite...Ululani's shave ice. I highly recommend any condo at Kihei Sands....you just can't go wrong. It's worth every penny!

This was a wonderful stay for us! Beautiful condo beach front it was an amazing view! Very clean property and well maintained pool on site was very clean. Management on site Connie was so very helpful to us and answered ALL of our questions and they are on site most of the day even give you their personal phone numbers if there is an emergency after hours so that was a great feeling to have someone always there to help! Our most fun moment would have to be the Calypso snorkel tour it was amazing and if you go you have to do it! Lava Rock was our favorite restaurant we ate there 3 times and it's only 10 mins away from the condo- best food and atmosphere ever! I highly recommend this condo recently updated and very clean!

Kihei Sands is such a wonderful place. Felt like home, and is on the absolutely indescribable Sugar Beach. This was our second time at Kihei Sands, and this time we were in Bente and Melvin's absolutely perfect condo A9. The condo was adorable and comfortable, and the oceanfront patio was breathtaking. 10 steps to the beach. Such beauty. We also experienced great service. We had the time of our lives! I highly recommend Kihei Sands, and we will definitely return when we can get back to Maui!

A little piece of heaven! The small community and beach access are our two main appeals to this property. It was 15 steps from our patio until my toes hit the sand!! Win win!! On the down side, this until was newly remodeled.... Poorly done, couch already stained, and what bothered us the most was the lack of upkeep. The unit was not cleaned, I had to clean it myself before I was able to enjoy. The comforter was filthy, we needed up only using a blanket on the bed.

The oceanfront unit was clean and well-appointed. The management company does an excellent job of maintaining the property and communicating with customers. This was our firt time back to Kihei Sands since the pandemic kept us away. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything about our stay this year. The unit is absolutely beautiful with all new furniture, flooring, painting, you name it. When we opened the door to the unit, it was so impressive we thought we were in the wrong unit! We have been coming to Kihei Sands now for nearly 40 years and will be coming back again and again as long as we can. Connie, Patrick, Lisa and all the team there are outstanding. The only issue we had was with the new Roku TV and no instructions. Thanks to the owners and everyone on site for all you continue to do to make sure our stays are perfect.

The unit was nice, although a bit understocked. We’ve stayed in other units that had more amenities, like coffee filters, towel clips, etc. Minor things, tbh, but providing coffee and a coffee maker with no filters was frustrating. Fortunately had the lovely coffee on the patio every morning. We love Kihei Sands and will always stay here when traveling to Maui. This was a lovely unit and can’t be beat for beach, patio and pool access.

Our unit was just right, the complex is low-key and quiet and the staff worked very hard to keep us and everyone else happy. Would def stay there again. The location is easy access to all area of the island and the staff is happy to offer recommendations for wherever you are headed.

We were fortunate to have a ground floor suite that opened up directly to the beachfront. We spent many mornings and evenings enjoying a beverage and just taking in the bay.

This was our second time staying at the Kihei Sands and it did not disappoint! We had one of the ocean front units and it was wonderful waking up and drinking coffee right next to the beach. The condo was comfortable (AC!) and worked perfectly for myself, my husband and our toddler. They had lots of sand toys and pool floats and we enjoyed using the communal BBQ as well. Would highly recommend!

The condo was comfortable (AC!) and worked perfectly for myself, my husband and our toddler. They had lots of sand toys and pool floats and we enjoyed using the communal BBQ as well. This was our second time staying at the Kihei Sands and it did not disappoint! We had one of the ocean front units and it was wonderful waking up and drinking coffee right next to the beach. This was our 10th year in a row staying at Kihei Sands. We stayed for nearly six weeks and the time flew by. The weather this year was fantastic. Kihei Sands has made a great effort to offer a clean and safe environment during the pandemic and we felt totally comfortable during our stay. The property management team of Connie, Lisa and Patrick does a wonderful job and they were attentive and responsive to any need that we had. We are already looking forward to returning for our next stay in January 2022.

We loved staying at Kihei Sands. We stayed in Unit A9. The unit was very clean and the furniture and bed were very comfortable. It had everything we needed. We had front row seats to the beach. The beach, sand, and sunsets were beautiful. I also wanted to thank the property management. They were great to work with.

This is the only place I stay in Maui. My parents came here 28 years in a row starting when it first opened so my family has a long history here. In terms of A9 my only complaint would be that the couch was the same as 6 years ago which would be ok except there were stains on it as well as the front of it covered in a reddish coating of probably sunscreen oil mixed with the colour from outside. It made it look shabby. I also noticed my sliding door and front windows being cleaned the day I left which had not been done for me when I came in and it was something I noticed and was disappointed about (although I didn't say anything.) Just little things but one day there was no coffee until about 10 o'clock and for several days there was no sugar to go with it. Considering the expense to stay there I was surprised that certain staples weren't automatically there. For example Saran Wrap and tin foil, sugar cubes, windex, vim, only 4 pucks for the dishwasher for 16 days. Little things that just started to add up. My comments aren't meant to be whiney rather constructive comments.
But I love Kihei Sands and will come back.I know exactly what kind of a holiday I will be having and it never disappoints. The older fellow (roughly my age )who was on during the weekends was just great.

it is always amazing to me that I can walk out the front onto the beach, turn right and after 2 buildings only have the ocean on one side and the bird sanctuary on the other... and can walk for over an hour with hardly seeing anyone else other than those who are also loving being surrounded by nature ... and I love that Kihei Sands is low key and very friendly and that it is at the north end of Kihei, the quiet end! easy drive to shopping, restaurants, etc... I'll be back for sure!
