Amazing stay

The vistas and the lagoon are dreamlike. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The food was amazing. Seeing monkeys up close was really fun.

Krásné, milé, vstřícné až na opice.

Denně úklid, velmi milý a ochotný personál, nebyl problém udělat i ranní balíček snídaně na výlet. Krásné, klidně prostředí. Ocenili jsme možnost propojených pokojů.

Opice, hodně otravné, vlezli nám i na pokoj a vše řádně rozcházeli.

Located in a beautiful setting/area but that’s about it

Very picturesque from the outside and a good location from Krabi Airport.

- The rooms are quite outdated. - Lots of bugs in the room which is always a risk in Thailand but this seemed to be worse than the other hotels we stayed in during our trip. - This isn’t necessarily a complaint, as due to the natural landscape and location there are monkeys which is wonderful and unique. However, we weren’t aware how disruptive they can be running around on the roof when trying to sleep, so just something to be aware of. - This was ideal for a short one night stay but we wouldn’t have stayed for more than that.

A MUST stay location in Thailand!!

This resort is just breathtaking!!! Absolutely STUNNING! You are not only greeted by gorgeous staff but then cheeky little monkeys who try and steal any food or drinks from the poor housekeeper’s trolleys!!! I would LOVE their job! It would be so much fun! Although I’m sure it would probably get annoying if they kept you from doing your actual work which they seem to do! But I loved it!! And they were loving that I did! I cannot fault this resort. It is heaven! Food, drinks, pool, lagoon… EVERYTHING just gorgeous!! And fairly priced too. No time for the gym for us… We didn’t come here for that. But it’s there if you choose. We appreciated the shuttle that would take us to the Night Market or beach if we chose to venture away from the resort. But easily used Grab if needed to venture further. We’ve stayed in many places in Thailand and this is on the very top of my list - We will most definitely be returning!! Thank you for having us! Your resort is sensational and your staff match it!

Poonsiri Resort was like a dream. Accomodation on the watwr, filled with massive fish and monkeys jumping around. It’s so quiet and relaxing. The staff were very attentive and nothing was a bother.

Had to be careful not to leave anything on the balcony because the cheeky monkeys were very fast. But we loved that too.

The place and atmosphere were excellent. Everything looking as taken from a postcard. Bed very comfortable, good breakfast, good staff. A good place to relax

Needs some attention on the maintenance. Small things but annoying such as a problem adjusting the AC, no switch on button for the sailing vant, problem locking the door etc

The staff at Poonsiri was most friendly. They helped us with our laundry and even prepared breakfast to go as we had to travel to our next destination really early.

The location of Poonsiri is a bit outside of Ao Nang but they offer a free hotel shuttle to make up for that.

The place is near the pier and the hotel offers shuttle and provides schedule. The high quality of the cleanup is good because the villa type may have some leaves, and insects, they clean well.

Hope there has internet connected television. But I know it’s better to see the view, so it doesn’t matter.

Paradise

Immerse in nature, you have a beautiful swamp near the resort and you have lots of green and monkeys inside the resort. Staff are exceptional , super funny and accommodating. This location doesn't seem to be true as the price compared to the quality you get is nothing

A nice resort but many areas to improve.

The concept of the resort is really nice , very nice friendly staff.

The facility needs some upgrading, many amenities are old and run down, the gym is one example, bicycles too. Cleanliness in general is quite poor. Water heater went down after a heavy downfall? That's something to change. Aggressive monkeys are too close to our rooms and balcony. They nearly attacked me and my wife when we walked pass a group of them.

The place looked amazing (10/10). You could take a free Kayak boat at any time and peddle on the lake of the resort. There were monkeys. The breakfast was amazing. From fruit to meat there was a lot to choose from

The was pool big enough. Clean? It was decent. Just as many of the other pools in Thailand we've been in, there are some insects floating around. The cleaning systems are not up to European standards. Sometimes there were ants walking on the floors, so the cabin (although clean) was not insect proof.

Great hotel

Very good hotel. The area is very quiet and relaxing. Far from the main beach of Aonang. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the beach, we’re you can have lunch, dinner, go to the night market, or spend the day at the beach. If not using the free shuttle it’s very easy to get a Tuk Tuk (200 Thb) to return to the hotel. The rooms are of good size and are well appointed. They have a small mini bar (empty) were you can store water or any other items. Bathroom is good with large shower. Water pressure is also good. The staff is great and always very attentive and kind. Communication in English is sometimes a struggle, but you get over it very quickly. The pool area is amazing and the free kayaks are a plus. Not too many insects, but you must be careful and leave all windows and doors closed as much as possible, you are in the middle of the jungle. Sometimes monkeys show up, so be careful with your belongings, but this is not a big issue. Food in the restaurant is very good and not pricey, compared with the prices at Aonang Beach. It’s a good alternative. Breakfast is acceptable and of good quality. Overall a great experience and for sure would stay again when in the area. Maybe rent a bike to be more free and visit other surrounding areas and beaches.

Location, lagoon and outside area overall. Nature that is taken a good care of. Monkeys.

We spent few nights in this hotel years ago. Wanted to come back since the location, lagoon and overal area with swimming pool was a good match for our family. But it seems during those years there was almost nothing that was renovated, cleanliness became poor, mattresses are bent inside and springs are worn. Staff mainly unexperienced young people - behaving nicely but having no clue about hospitality services. As a bonus two of us had health issues after spending time in the swimming pool. Overall definitely not 4 star even for the Thai standards.

Fantastic!!

This hotel was amazing, about 10 mins from the beach and town but not an issue as free shuttles are supplied. The rooms are clean and spacious and open out onto a beautiful lagoon with canoes. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and would do anything and go out of their way to help. would recommend to anyone.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Excellent service, lovely location.

The service for me and my partner was exceptional. We had the best service on our 2 weeks trip! The food was good, and the service att our dinner was great. The trainees are going to be perfect hosts for the future guest. They made tastefull drinks, also gave me a drink that was'nt on the menu and it was superb. We'll definitely be back on our next trip!

Nothing really, the only thing they could deserve is more guests.

Comfortable rooms; a little out of the way

Nice tranquil atmosphere in the resort away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Family suite was very spacious, huge toilet, and it was super clean! There were activities to do within the resort itself such as kayaking, swimming, table tennis. Staff were friendly!

The resort is located fairly far from the town centre and you'll have to rely on their shuttle service to get to town or rent your own private transport. Table tennis table and paddles were old and worn out (although we did still have fun playing).
