neat, clean and good value for money older style motel. friendly manager keen to help.

older type motel but rooms well maintained and beds comfortable. located a block from Packington St shopping and cafes. Woolworths just over the road.

Decent, very clean and quiet location with all basic amenities in the room. A very good sized room for 5.

Small things mainly faint smell of "old" in the room perhaps the cleaning material (also, toilet door stuck, toilet seat not fixed well, tv remote not suited for tv) But overall nothing annoying and very good value for money

Outstanding affordable accommodation. The room was absolutely spotless, perfectly presented, had everything I needed, very pleasant hosts. Highly recommended.

Clean enough, old rooms but comfy bed

Bad timing when you book and so do a end of footy trip so didn’t get to bed til 4am but that’s not the fault of the motel although knowing there was a large group they should have been warned and monitored

Large room, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly staff. Great Italian restaurant just across the road.

Tea & Coffee supplied but unfortunately no milk. Not a big problem for us as we ate out for dinner and breakfast.

There are many great aspects to Shannon Motor Inn -Value, Location, Consideration, Comfort, Cleanliness, Convenience, Attractive furnishings, Comradery. Value-well priced; Location-Food options -nearby Hotel, and Bistro. Short walk Fish and Chips, Pizza or Convenience store. BBQ available. Consideration-willingness to respond to achievable requests; Comfort-beds, option of blankets or doona; Cleanliness- excellent- cleaning staff wearing masks; Convenience-short drive to Central Geelong, Geelong Beach or Geelong North Station for those wanting a day in Melbourne. Attractive furnishings-similar to those in upmarket City Hotels, comfortable lounge chairs. Comradery- the U-shaped layout of the building and seating outside each unit. Although provided for smokers it also provides the opportunity to sit outside with a coffee and interact with other guests if desired.

My fault entirely. I forgot to check. I need a reminder to check whether the window has been left open to air the room. When it is open it is hidden by the curtain, but cools the room.

Very nice clean and convenient location

Room was a great size and very clean. aircon was great. great location to beach shops and pubs. very well maintained property and small bbq area to relax in. convenient location

We had a small bar fridge for a family of 5. Did not work properly and could not put enough food for a more than a day. The fridge could need an upgrade or supply two in the family room. And there was no internet coverage at all so i could not use my laptop for work or my google. Phone calls were ok. We are with Optus so that might make a difference.

Good location

Large spacious room with all kitchen utensils provided. All clean and tidy. Woolworths is located just opposite to the road and shops at walking distance for food.

Network/reception is low which is not a big deal if you just come out near the road you will get full reception.
