We stayed in this beautiful 16th century property in the month of June 2023. It is a b&b stay managed by our lovely host Frédérique, with all the perks and privileges of a home stay kind of environment.
Pros
-Knowledgable, informative and accommodating English/ French speaking host. She contacted us in advance for the coordination.
-Located at centre of Bordeaux
-Value for money
-Great filling breakfast ( the best cheese, fresh croissant and yummy crepes we had in the town) other than that baguette, nuts and fruits as also offered to us.
-Lovely feel of the well decorated and old French property with a lounge in the basement
-Well kept room with all the amenities
Cons
I actually couldn’t find anything as a cons, but may be for the differently abled or geriatric the winding stairs could be a problem.
But for us, the winding stairs added to the ancient-building feel of the property.

Madame went over and above with breakfast. Healthy tasty wonderful start to our day. Room was beautifully outfitted. Beds very comfortable. Conversation very interesting and helpful.
A little hot at night but very noisy to open the window.

Beautiful B&B hidden on a side street right in the centre of Bordeaux. It is run by a very pleasant lady, who makes you feel at home. I will definitely return.
4.3
Excellent location and breakfast. Large room
If I had to say anything, we had a separate toilet but it was still very private.
4.3
Nice, friendly, clean and welcoming. Only three rooms.
Plastic? under the sheets and not so comfortable beds but ok.

The location was very sweet and in a splendid and lively area. The nights were very quiet though as the house is in a side street. You can tell that the host puts all of her heart in this precious Bijou and so is the service! Great place, very noce host - we would go again anytime :)

Frédérique was very friendly and took great care of us during our stay in Bordeaux. The house is very nice and a great location. Delicious breakfast.
The internet connection was not always good, which seems to be an issue in this area.

The location of Mirror is exceptional. It's wonderful to step out of your facility and step at once into the heart of old Bordeaux.
When the weather turns hot, the room can get quite warm.

Location is great. In a small quiet side street, though right in the centre of the historic city with restaurants, shops, sights and Garonne nearby. Mathieu, the host, is very friendly and has great tips for restaurants and activities. Typical French breakfast, so small selection, but very good. Studio is well equipped. Nice bathroom. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
Only unpleasant thing was the disagreeable smell from the pipes, probably due to the age of the building. It would have helped, if the bathroom door was lockable.

Excellent location and fantastic host.
We picked one of the hottest days of the year so it was warm at night.

Sensations of an old french merchants Palace inside a cozy historic '500 building in the city center.
Comfortable and room with lovely and cured furniture. Matthieu, available and kind in his host service, always up to speed satisfying every need and "enriching" every breakfast at every exigent request.

The location is excellent. Close to many restaurants and bars, the river promenade, and tram lines B (to/from Bacalan and Cite du Vin) and C (to/from the train station). The owners/managers are super nice, hospitable and very helpful. Bathroom is modern and spacious. Daily cleaning provided -and you can ask them to change your towels or sheets daily (I asked for towel change). There is a mini bar, good size hairdryer, and shower gel.
Breakfast was poor. The room is way small -with a useless fireplace that adds absolutely nothing to the place. The stairs up are very narrow and steep -NOT recommended for people with heavy/big pieces of luggage or of course for people with reduced mobility. The bed was very weird. It had two mattresses, one on top of the other, making the bed extremely high, I had to climb up and also be afraid i m gonna fall off at some point during the night. The flat screen TV was of decent size, however no English speaking channels. There are no surfaces to put stuff -neither in the room nor in the bathroom (and especially in the shower). The door is way thin with a closet-like key that can be picked in 2 seconds, should anyone would forget the downstairs door open (suggestion do not leave anything valuable in the room). On a desk surface -really the only surface I could put my stuff on- there was a massive fan, which was not only very noisy, but also disproportionate to the size of the room.
Generally speaking. Did I regret booking it? No. Would I go again? Probably no (but I wouldnt revisit Bordeaux either). Is this a money-value establishment? No. Is it recommended for first-timers in the city? Yes.
