Tout était très bien. Jesús est très prévenant, et de très bons conseils.
Il n'y a rien que je n'ai pas apprécié.

Lovely staff, the hostel is clean and so comfortable!

The rooms are very big, bright and super clean! In addition, the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning, there are seats and a table if you want to relax with a view. The location is great because it’s close to everything in Salento, but away from the noise so you can have a good night of sleep! Finally, Jesus is unbelievably nice and gives the best recommendations and advices for any activity you wish to do.

Very cute hostel. Rooms are small but nice. Good value for money!!
Nice curries at the restaurant :)

The staff were really friendly and exceptionally helpful, the map that they provide is very useful. Hostel itself was quite quiet throughout so sleeping was no hassle. we arrived late on the first day and Jesus was very helpful and accommodating despite this. There were very good recycling facilities, including batteries, a refreshing change from the norm. From day one we felt welcome. The room was bigger than expected.
The internet wasn't the strongest, but if you are not remote working don't let that stop you. The stay was well worth it for us.

Location was good, wifi worked well, Jesus is an excellent host, he even managed to check me in earlier and was very helpful with other info. He also spoke English which was relieving if you don't speak Spanish like me. Room was ok for the price. Overall a great value for money stay.
Construction going on nearby could be annoying, for me it wasn't a problem as I spent most of my daytime outside.

Perfect location really close to the center, very clean and full equipped shared kitchen. The staff is extremely kind and Jesus the owner can give you all the informations for exploring the area.

I loved the location. The hotel is a few blocks away from the main street and plaza which is great for two reasons:
- you will be away from the loud noises of that area if you wish to sleep
- Salento is so small you can easily walk to these areas and enjoy them (maybe a 5 minute walk)

very nice staff, the room was clean ,and they came every morning and gave us clean towels, and clean the shower.

Jesus (The host) was extremely helpful. We needed assistance with the police and he offered to come to the station with us to fix the language barrier.
We also arrived later than the expected arrival time and Jesus helped us with this as well.
The room was good and Jesus had a nice map of the town with explanations.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa La Eliana - the staff (Jesus, Maicol, & Luz) are all incredibly nice. I bombarded Jesus with questions via WhatsApp and he always took the time to respond to me with patience and kindness.
The view from the balcony was nice, they let you use the kitchen to prepare your own food. On weeknights (6:00 - 9:00 pm) they open their restaurant and serve delicious curry with rice and naan.
Located close to the bus terminal for when you arrive/leave.
There are also two French bulldogs names Lucy & Bingo that love playing.
Definitely a nice place to stay if you're in Salento to relax after visiting Valle de Cocora.
Only applicable for those working remotely: the wifi isn't the most reliable as the signal can be weak/choppy depending on which room you're staying in.

Good bed , nice hot water
The bathroom was filthy and moldy.
On site barking dog in early morning.
Noisy truck yard next door.

I had a comfortable room with a couch, it is very clean, the staff is really nice and you notice that they like to work with tourists and want them to have a good time. It's a pity that I stayed there only for one night.

Did not try the curry, however it looked spectacular.

Close from the bus stop. Jesus and his family are very welcoming !
A lot a humidity in the bathroom on the walls

This place is fine for a one night stay as it has the basics. The location is goof as well.
The downside is that it doesn't feel cozy and the room smelled like it had been locked up for a while. There is a balcony window door in the room that helps, but as it's on the road, at night and it does get cold, I had to close it. Maybe request a fan to be included in the room.

Owner Jesus is great host, very friendly and provides a lot of very useful information about the area. Location is very convenient - close to the bus station and a short walk to the center. Room was clean, towels provided and changed every day, there is full stocked professional kitchen, nice family run hostel.
Town can get loud with all the people coming and going everyday.

The place is really nice! We stayed 3 nights in one room that had a french balcony and 2 nights in one with a normal balcony. Both rooms were great, a lot of space, clean. The shared bathrooms is just next to the rooms and also proper and nicelly clean. The wifi worked well everywhere.
The location is perfect. 5min walking from the main square, but not so central so more quiet.
The host is kind and give nice tips about the area.
Great quality/price
You can hear everything that happens in the house

The perfect stay in Salento
4.0
It is located less than 10 minutes from the main square and 2 minutes away from the bus station.
Jesus is very friendly and gives a lot of information on what to see, where to eat.
It is a good value for money.
It is a very basic accommodation but the price is cheap. However the cleaning could be better : there were many spider webs everywhere and a used toiled brush behind the sink. Blankets are not very warm, I got cold. There was no hair dryer.
The restaurant which was mentioned on my guide was not functional and there was no breakfast.

Lovely people and a beautiful view from the balcony
