Excelente y cómoda

La ubicación es fenomenal, estás a sólo una cuadra del parque central. Cerca al hostal encuentras sitios de comida y actividades de esparcimiento. Las personas encargadas siempre están dispuestas a orientarte para realizar actividades de turismo, te lo explican todo y te dan precios estimados.

Si bien hay un patio que permite una buena circulación de aire, a veces el humo de quienes fuman alcanzaba a entrar a las habitaciones y penetrar el espacio.

Great location. Lovely staff.

Great location near the main square. Comfy studio. Good shower and also access to a shared fridge. We loved our stay here.

Just climate related but our clothes (not the bed) felt a little damp due to lack of “dehumidification”. Towels wouldn’t dry - but they’re happy to provide new ones when you ask.

Nice atmosphere, perfect central location near the main square

Good room, quiet at night despite being on the street. Staff kind and friendly. Kitchen and dining area are excellent to meet other travelers.

Central location, with church bells as your morning alarm

Very centrally located! The main square is only a block away. The hostel courtyard is also beautiful and very relaxing. We stayed in the studio, which was on the 2nd floor of the hostel, overlooking the courtyard. It was very spacious! There's a common kitchen on each floor, where you can use the fridge & freezer; it's open from 7 am - 10 pm, if I remember correctly. They do laundry for a reasonable price, and they can help you organize tours. There's a receptionist 24/7 so you can always find someone to answer your questions. I did meet a few travelers over breakfast, but otherwise people didn't tend to lounge in the courtyard--it's a quieter place.

The central location is both a plus and a minus: because we were staying right before Christmas (not sure if that happens other times of the year), the church bells rang insistently at 7:30, 7:45, and 8:00 am, so there was no sleeping in past 7:30 am for us. Also, smoking is allowed throughout the hostel's courtyard, so our room would smell of smoke that drifted in, particularly from the smoking corner right outside our door. So if you're sensitive to smoke, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Eines der besten Hostels auf unserer Reise.

Die Zimmer waren sehr groß. Man hatte Möglichkeiten, Kleidung aufzuhängen. Es gab insgesamt 2 Küchen und diese waren sehr sauber.

Das Zimmer roch sehr modrig. Wir konnten nur mit offenem Fenster schlafen.

Basic maar perfecte locatie!

De accommodatie lag op een perfecte locatie, 2 minuten lopen van het plein vandaan. Alles op loopafstand! Kamers waren basic maar meer had ik ook niet verwacht. Wel eindelijk een keer warm water in de douche, is niet vaak geweest tijdens onze reis ik Colombia!

Het ligt naast een relatief drukke straat en de geluidsisolatie is niet al te best. Ze kunnen best standaard oordopjes op de nachtkastjes leggen. Dus als je niet tegen geluidsoverlast kan, best niet boeken.

Bellissima Salento

Ostello semplice e accogliente a gestione femminile. Il nostro soggiorno (3 notti) è stato perfetto. Le ragazze sono sempre disponibili a darti consigli sulle attività da fare in zona. Ottimo il servizio lavanderia e l'ubicazione vicino alla piazza principale. Peccato non avere la colazione inclusa ma questo non cambia la nostra ottima valutazione dell'esperienza. Grazie per averci ospitato!

A comfortable stay in a great location with friendly staff who provide you with plenty of local information.

The property is conveniently located near the main square in Salento and we were provided with a very handy leaflet on our arrival which gave us lots of information of local trips and transport to our next destination. The rooms are nicely decorated and the kitchen facilities are ideal for cooking simple dishes. There is also complimentary tea and coffee.

We had a private room and the bathroom isn’t fully walled up to the ceiling which impacts your privacy. Our room was also situated on the road so it was quite loud in the evenings and mornings with traffic and dogs barking.

De locatie was top, verder prima hygiënisch. Echter zijn de bedden te hard, en het geluid is verschrikkelijk.

De bedden waren letterlijk zo hard als steen. Ik denk dat de grond uiteindelijk nog comfortabeler was. Daarnaast zat het naast een drukke weg, en de kamers hebben geen ramen maar houten luiken. Het is net alsof je op staat ligt zo’n herrie. Zonder oordoppen kan je je nachtrust wel vergeten.

Private room not very private

Good location

I got the private room, which was a room off the kitchen. It was weird to have my door open into the kitchen. Not very private. Also the overnight staff person was sleeping in the kitchen when i got home to go to sleep. The door has a gap at the bottom. It didn't feel very private for a private room. Wouldn't stay again.

Convenient and comfy stay

The location is a block away from the main square. I liked the traditional-homy look of the place and the women at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

My bedroom was next to the street and in front of the front desk so it was loud, it was hard to fall asleep and inevitably woke up early because of the noise.

Great time

Really great hostel, very close to the centre of town. Good laundry service, area was cleaned every day. Two kitchens are well equiptet, so we cooked four days in a row. Coffee, salt, pepper, oil for free. Dorm had enough space, locker under the bed, shelf for everyone.

Who need a very quiet place has to stay out of town. Not the fault of the hostel, just the fact, life in the town starts around at 6 in the morning and ends at midnight. Door of the dorm was noisy when you are not careful.

Highly recommend

Really nice hostel. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. There is a sink where I was able to clean my running shoes that got wet in the rain. I left them to dry outside and the staff were so lovely that they took them inside when it rained and put them on top of a heater to dry them.

Lacking a bit more space to chill but there is some space so this isn't a big deal.

we loved this hostel! The room was spacious and clean! and the bed was very comfortable. the hostel is located just a one minute walk from the town square which was perfect for catching the earliest willies. they have two very well equipped kitchens and the leaflet given to us was a great help in terms of finding your way around the town!

Do you wash your blanket?

Location, laundry service, nice and kind staff

We could hear everything, either people in the streets or the one using the kitchen. Bathroom were small, you could barely put or hang your things. I think they never wash the blanket, the dirty filthy smell was all over my clothes and myself after wrapping myself into. I don’t wish this to anyone. Only the location is great. I recommend to only spend 1 night max. tho

Perfect location and price!

The location was perfect, right next to the main square. Employees were really helpful and give us some recommendations for restaurants, trips, etc. We could also use the printer and there was a possibility to wash and dry our clothes.

The hostel was very central, it had good facilities and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave a lot of tips about where to visit, how to get there etc.

Our private room had a toilet inside and the toilet was separated from the rest of the room only with a slide door - which was unpleasant, because it‘s the only place you want to have some privacy :-)

I’d try the upstairs doubles.

good central location. quite clean. comfortable bed and hot water (when the water in town was on)

a bit noisy. smells very damp and mildewy, because it is - my downstairs single room even came with a slug. laundry service is overpriced.

Super helpful and friendly receptionist. Clean bathroom with hot water! Comfortable room. Great location.

Only one toilet and shower on the level where our bedroom was, but more available downstairs if needed. Like many properties in Colombia, wooden shutters mean you can hear every noise from the street so take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

It's beautiful from the outside and the inside, with Hammocks and free coffee all day. Close to the main plaza. Staff is friendly but speaks only Spanish which in my case makes it a bit more challenging.

There are no glas windows only wooden covers therefore it's noisy. You can hear everyone passing by the window. And there not enough bathrooms so you always queuing up.
