Het is een kamer in een gezellig huis dat een Britse uitstraling heeft. Zowel de kamer als badkamer waren prima in orde. De communicatie met de host verliep ook goed en vlot. De locatie is goed in het centrum van Akureyri. Belangrijk om te weten, het ligt op een helling. Bij sneeuw en ijs kan het mogelijks moeilijker bereikbaar zijn. Een goede auto die voorzien is op de weersomstandigheden is dan ook aangeraden.

Er waren vochtplekken op bepaalde plaatsen in de kamer.

Lovely house with elegant room.

Friendly welcome, comfortable room both spacious and elegant. We were out most of the time but had all we need.

Good reasonably priced accommodation nr centre.

Good location close to town centre. Pleasant downstairs room with en suite. Good breakfast available. Good value.

Superb

wonderful placement, nice staff, lovely artworks. comfy bed, good (but small) private bathroom. it was exactly what I was looking for.

I was all around really happy with the facilities. but could imagine a bigger person having a bit of difficulty with the bathroom in the room I had for my stay yet that may just have been this one room and the others might differ.

A pleasant experience

Was down the street from indoor hot pool. Also was a few blocks from "restaurant row". Host was very helpful with finding out information about weather and where to park

comfortable, friendly and convenient

very friendly, breakfast was excellent, kitchen looked straight out of a Wes Anderson movie, comfy bed , good bathroom

so much to love, a slight leak under the bathroom sink but easily fixed and did not disrupt our stay

Fantastic place to stay - beautiful room & fab location

The location was great - up on a hill with a lovely view & very easy access into town, to restaurants & the harbour. the room & bathroom were beautiful & spotlessly clean. A very happy stay. Although we never met him the owner was very helpful via messages after we managed to get a parking ticket - it's free to park at the front of the property but you must park in the direction of the traffic! Thanks to Gisli who sent us the link we have asked to be let off as we did not know this rule!

Everything was great although it would have felt a little more welcoming to have met the host but all in all this is a fabulous place to stay.

Comfortable stay and at great location with great view. Clean place with nice host and amenities.

The room was big, clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. There was also a mini fridge available in the common area which was convenient. The room had also very nice view. The akureyri public pool is very near (and very nice) and there is good parking spots available (which in akureyri downtown is often an issue).

The soundproofing between rooms could be better and we could hear a lot from the corridor.

A lovely stay with a welcoming and helpful host.

I had a beautiful view from my window, lovely to hear the birds singing outside. The room was very nice with a comfy bed and a wonderful painting. Shower worked well. Host was cheery and really went out of his way to help me.

The kettle was for share, not one for each room like most of the guest houses that we have visited in our trip.

I was only there for one short night but its quiet and comfortable.

The location is perfect for quick access to the centre, right by the swimming pool also. For the price it's wonderful and served my needs for a quick overnight stay.

I would return if I’m back in Iceland. Very welcoming!

Nice house, friendly welcome, comfortable bed, clean, slept well! All we needed. We did not order breakfast but everybody said it was nice. We were offered some coffee.

Liked most things. If I had to pick something, the room that was free was next to the reception, having said we were not awaken by noise!
