Wir hatten einen großartigen und erlebnisreichen Urlaub, der unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat.

Die Unterkunft liegt abseits des Trubels von Essaouria direkt am Strand und ist über eine Schotterpiste zu erreichen. Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, sind die Zimmer traumhaft eingerichtet und geschmackvoll ausgestattet, so dass man sich auf Anhieb wohlfühlt. Alles erinnert an Tausendundeine Nacht. Viele Zimmer haben Meerblick und abgesehen vom Meeresrauschen ist es vollkommen ruhig. Sofern nicht gerade Hochwasser ist, kann man am Strand kilometerweit laufen. Dabei trifft man ab und zu auf einen Einheimischen, der auf einem Esel unterwegs ist. Die Gastgeber Julianna und Mike sowie das einheimische Personal sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Neben der erstklassigen Verpflegung unterstützen sie tatkräftig bei der Planung von Ausflügen und Quad-Touren oder organisieren beispielsweise am Strand geführte Reit-Ausflüge in den Sonnenuntergang. Julianna bietet ein marokkanisches Frühstück, abwechslungsreiche Mittags-Snacks sowie geschmackvolle 3-Gänge Menüs zum Abendessen an. Das Essen ist absolut zu empfehlen. Der marokkanische Minztee ist ein absolutes Highlight. Wer tierlieb ist, kommt in voll auf seine Kosten. Neben einem Pferd und drei Eseln gibt es auch sehr liebe Hunde und Katzen in Dar Danse. Wer möchte, kann auch nach Absprache mit Julianna mit einem der Hunde einen schönen Strandspaziergang unternehmen. Die beiden Pools sind sehr sauber und laden zu einem erfrischenden Bad ein. Sie betten sich geschmackvoll in die liebevoll gestaltete Umgebung ein, die an einen botanischen Garten erinnert.

Es gibt nichts, was hätte besser sein können. Unsere ganze Familie war rundherum glücklich und zufrieden.

Best stay we had in Morocco!

Relaxing place with such a laid back vibe. The food was the best we had in Morocco, definetely worth getting the lunch as well. many thanks to the wonderful staff for making our stay amazing! We’ve also appreciated the care towards the animals in the sanctuary, we’ve spent more time than anticipated petting donkeys :)

Just a bit more wifi coverage would help, at least at the pool area.

Very beautiful view in the lonely place. We were just alone in the hotel and enjoyed the silence The food in very nice. From our trip in Morocco the best cousins. Also very pleasant owner. Nice place to spent time alone on the ocean. the beach also is wonderful. Recommend for sure

The staff was amazing especially abdou and Abdelghni, food was soooo tasty, room amazing, view breathtaking. we have so many beautiful memories to keep and location is just wawwwwww if you like to feel in the middle of nowhere which was our case. I really highly recommend !

Nice place but needs manteinance

The people working at the hotel were extremely nice. Abdul roumy and the wonderful cook. The food was excellent and they where always looking forward to help.

The owners have not been there for a very long time and one could see that the installations where missing a but of maintenance. The rooms where not cleaned during the stay. They where clean at arrival but I would have liked to have my bed made and WC cleaned during my stay.

The spot is magnificent and the vibe fantastic. Dar Danse is truly a nice bubble on the beach for a few days. I would like to mention especially our host Abdul and his staff who truly did his utmost best to make our stay memorable. He is the perfect host.

The shower is a bit salty, the drive to the place challenging, there is limited electricity and internet connection. I didn’t find this a problem myself as this is the whole point of being disconnected, but just letting other guests know.

Bravo! We were the only family during Eid al adha and got room updated for free. wonderful place and staffs, provided everything we need even the snack after the dinner, just 100m away from the beach and we catched the octpus under those rocks, unbelievable!!! especially thank to the manager abdoul who's soo kind and handy, looking forword to staying again!

You feel like at home, but you home was in the middle of nowhere

The service and hospitality is exceptional. Abdou and the rest of the staff make your experience very pleasant. The activities you can enjoy there you really cannot get anywhere else. Highly recommended.

The place is certainly remote (closest city maybe 50 mins away) so it is not as comfortable, e.g. running water is salty and the sheets are damp since it is next to the beach. But if you go with the right mindset, you will definitely enjoy.

Very good

Very quiet secluded location - great if you have your own transportation, but no so great if you are relying on taxis as quite expensive to get around. Felt like we had a villa to ourselves just moments from the beach. Rooms and grounds were beautifully maintained. Breathtaking views. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and dinner was delicious both nights.

Salty water from the taps and Shower took some getting used to..

Perfect holidays in amazing place with great service and a real homy feeling. This was exactly what we needed. Food was excellent, the penthouse had the best view possible. We felt at the end of the world but with all the comfort. Kids loved the pool, the staff, the beach and the animals. We will go back for sure.

Very friendly hosts.The food is good. Beautifull place to escape the routine and stress of big cities. The views, the beach, are amazing. If you enjoy simple things, and don't mind the lights going off so you can enjoy the beauty of the stars ... This is the place to reconnect with nature
