-Room was spacious, clean and warm
-Able to see the water from my window
-Staff was very friendly
-Location was a minute walk away from the beach
-Kitchen and dining areas were very tidy
-Onsite bar with food
-Having to rent a towel was a little annoying would of preferred that price to be included in my stay
-The dorm I was in only had hanger space for one person instead of 4, not a problem because I was alone but lack of storage could be a problem if the dorm was booked out
-The showers and toilets in the middle of the hallway was a bit odd. I used the enclosed bathroom unit next to my room

It has lots of character the brewery is a great touch. The price was very reasonable and close to the pub for meals and drinks.
I am not use to not being able to make coffee in the room. The beds were very hard so I didn’t sleep well and woke up with a backache.

The manager is great
The pizzas are tasty, but are frozen and small

Very spacious double room, clean and modern facilities, full kitchen, perfect for a quick stopover while travelling the Great Ocean Road
Alcohol licensing is very strict - even though there's a kitchen/common area, no outside drinks can be brought in and consumed. The bar closed at 8pm so after that time there is no option to continue drinking. There is takeaway alcohol for sale but it was not clear when this could be bought versus buying drinks from the bar - we enquired when the takeaway alcohol could be purchased and were advised this could be done once the bar was closed, however when the bar was closed and we asked to purchase takeaway alcohol I was told everything was closed (even though we were told they would let us know when to buy takeaway alcohol prior to closing). A bit disappointing and inconvenient but other than that it was a great stay!

Single room was clean and shared facilities were clean, brewery was fun, kitchen facilities good.
property was great though price for private room was similar to a motel

Great private room, nice to have a brewery downstairs. Very friendly staff made us feel very welcome
Lovely brewery but the bar closes at 8pm and you can’t bring any alcohol in unfortunately.

Location was good room was nice
Facility's were lacking. No aircon, shower took forever to get hot water through and hardlly any flow or pressure, also exhaust fan was full of fluff and the bed was uncomfortable.

The Guesthouse was extremely well located to visit the 12 Apostles and other attractions of the Great Ocean Road. There were nice coastal walks on the property's doorstep. The kitchen facilities were very good.
I did not like that there were not gender specific shower areas and that you had to walk though the shower areas to get to different bedrooms. Compared to other hostels, the guesthouse was a bit pricy but this is probably reflected by the location.

Very good value for money. Easy to find in the evening. Good local craft beers.
The 12 Apostles and other attractions are close by.

Really lovely decor throughout the whole building and spotlessly clean. Good size rooms. Staff were really friendly too and gave good recommendations to see the birds come in at sunset. Great location- right by the beach and shops and plenty of parking. Kitchen good size and well stocked with equipment. Got a free upgrade to a private room as was told I paid over the odds at check in! Really appreciated this honesty. Did see the dorm rooms and would have been entirely happy in there though!
Toilet and shower situation is odd- although super clean and plenty of them, feels like you are sitting in the coridoor :S however there were signs saying that they are aware of the odd layout and are planning on improving this in the near future. There were also a couple of 'normal' bathrooms available to use and, due to the place being quiet, I was able to use these most times.

Very clean. I stayed in a small, but cute, clean, and comfortable twin room, and found the kitchen well appointed and spacious and as well as the common living areas. The Guest House is walking distance to the beach and many shops and cafes. Good wifi in my room as well as downstairs and at the outside tables. I'd be happy to stay here again once they change the bathroom situation.
Be aware of the "open concept" toilets and showers as the toilet stalls and shower stalls open directly onto the hallway where the rooms are located. i've never seen anything like it. There is no privacy at all. As I walked down the hall to and from my room, there were people sitting on the toilets just a few feet away with feet clearly visible under the stall doors. Yuck.
I did read a sign saying they have plans to remodel, but COVID put a stop to that, so no change has yet been made. There is one fully enclosed bathroom with shower and sink at the end of the hall, otherwise all toilets and showers are open to all passersby in the hall. A strange set up.
