Incredibly quiet place, exceptional location, friendly hosts, delicious breakfast. If you like Glastonbury history a would highly recommend to book a tour with the owner (as he is a great story teller).
4.1
Close to centre, supercute little house, great hosts, good breakfast, small room (single) but with very romatic view on the gardens. Fairytale-like. Sweet dog too, made me smile.

The location is good, but we felt like leaving the place after the first night. And the food was simple but nice.
The room is really simple, no space for luggage, good bedding, but no dark curtain or shatter. Asside from the room, there is no place where to stay in the house or the garden. It feels like we are constantly intruding the owners' private space. At the same time, the house isn't isolated, so everyone hears absolutly everything.
The bathroom is a shared one and looks more like a cupboard than a bathroom (1m by 2.5m). The shower curtain is blackened with mould. The bathroom is connected to a maceration device that makes a lot of noise when any type of water is used (tap, shower, or toilet), so the bathroom is not to be used during the 10pm-8pm time slot.
A few rude comments also from the male owner about both our nationality, and spiritual believes, and more simply our tastes. I was shocked by the way he answered an other guest's at breakfast about the strength of the coffee he served her : "only too strong to you, other people like it that way". Not a way to make anyone feel at home, and totally mansplaining.
The female owner is a nice person, but she is also very quiet and may be a little introverted ? I feel sorry for her about our review of their place.
I read a lot of the previous comments before visiting, and thought "it cannot be that bad".
First absolutely nothing that bothered previous guests has been changed. Then eventhough the place is about clean, and the owners are not impossibly rude, it feels impossible to feel at home, or to like the place.
I have been in Glastonbury a dozen time, and for my next trip I will not stay at the Moon in the Apple Tree.
I do not usually comment badly on BnB but I am hoping this one can eventually change something for others.

Incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts, charming decor and atmosphere, delicious homey breakfast, 4 minute walk to town.
I didn’t realize that there wouldn’t be a private bathroom. But this didn’t end up being a problem at all:)

We loved staying at the Moon in The Apple Tree, a warm welcome and genuine home that embodies the true spirit of Glastonbury. Tor and Julie were exceptional hosts, the beds were super comfy and the room pristinely clean. The house is full of character and lovely inspiring art. Fabulous home cooked breakfasts which were delicious included some great homemade pancakes and good coffee which was a real treat. We had great conversations with our hosts and the other interesting guest on many subjects that people visiting Glastonbury are often exploring, around nature and cycles, spirtual practices, history and culture. Incredible value and a magical time.
It was all good.

Second time I've stayed here. Very homely and relaxing place to stay. Very peaceful location close to Glastonbury Town centre. Good access to all the main sites. Yummy breakfast.

Moon in the Apple Tree had provided me an exceptional getaway in Glastonbury. The room was aesthetically pleasing, breakfast was directly cooked in front of guests, and Julie and Tor are lovely hosts! As my first B&B experience, this stay is undoubtedly memorable and I’d definitely come again!
The shower room upstairs is quite small but I fit just fine!

Homely, comfortable, eclectic, wonderful hosts, fabulous breakfast, I am making further bookings.

The property is very cosy, although I'd say it's an acquired taste. You have to be willing to immerse yourself into the local culture a bit, or you might find it jarring. The owners are very kind and interested in hearing about you, though without being intrusive!
Location wise, it can be a bit tricky to locate the place, but it's nice and quiet while still being right near the high street and all the stores.
Bear in mind that payment is taken in cash when you arrive, rather than from a credit card you've provided. The owners are not available until 18:30, which can be a bit tricky as check-out in most accomodations is fairly early, but there's not much to be done about that. The above didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.

Julie and Tor where lovely, very kind and amazing hosts. They offered me an alternative gluten and dairy free breakfast - which was delicious! Will definitely book with them again next time I visit Glastonbury!

Very close to the town centre, tucked away and secluded. A comfortable vibe, you knew you were a guest in someone’s home. The room was lovely, clean, bright and warm. A good selection of clipper hot drinks. Probably the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on.
Breakfast with our hosts, an excellent selection made to order, with Tor’s own freshly ground spiced coffee.
The only thing is the bathroom. As it’s saniflo you are requested to avoid using between 10 and 7. For an older guest, this means a visit downstairs, but luckily lovely thick robes are provided. Also the bathroom is tiny, so negotiating the shower is tricky, but these are minor problems.

The location is perfect, tucked away in a back street , quiet and peaceful. The ambience , set by the hosts, is very wholesome and genuine. Breakfast is exceptional, continuing this theme. I felt very at home here, welcomed and safe.
The wooden stairs look great and fit the aesthetic BUT a strip of carpet might help to soften echoey footsteps? I struggled to lock the upstairs bathroom door.

Very comfortable sleep and stay. Great hosts who are very knowledgeable of the area. Filling breakfasts and such a lovely quirky house. Fantastic location - Glastonbury High St is a 5 minute walk away, but the area where the house is located, is quiet -so best of both worlds.

Lovely hosts and a really great location, room was comfortable and had a great view, in a great location to Glastonbury in the centre but you don't hear any noise, breakfast had a great variety, bonus for me was the dog! Who is a very calm and quiet dog but always there for a little stroke!
There wasn't any improvements needed, everything was spot on for me!

Lovely hosts and very informative about the area. Lovely view from the window and bed very comfortable.
Unfortunately as a sensitive sleeper I did not sleep well so opted to stay elsewhere for the last night. I also did not get the impression on the website that it was staying in the hosts own house so was definitely not what I had expected.

Julie & Tor are very friendly, laid-back, and very interesting people, their home is hidden away but only 2 minutes' walk to the town centre. It was quiet, and the single room looks out on to mature gardens. Breakfast was lovely, I never had porridge made with orange juice before, something I'll add to home eating. Tor effortlessly rustles up garlicy cherry tomatoes with scrambled egg and bacon, while we talked about life the universe & everything. Great place to stay.

Best porridge I've ever had and Tor gave me the recipe. Very welcoming, interesting and intelligent hosts that I shared a lot of interests and values with.
I will book a double room if I visit again

This is a really lovely, welcoming and homely B&B. My room was spotless and I was well looked after on arrival and leaving. Thankyou so much!

The hosts were amazing and cooked breakfast for us every morning which was delicious, super friendly and informative. Tor has visited every chakra of the earth and made a documentary on it. AMAZINGG
Nothing we disliked!!

It’s not very often in this world that you meet two B&B owners that are so remarkable. They are the epitome of humankind. It wasn’t like a stay at a B&B as you’d expect and if you are expecting this you must drop any expectations. Here you will be staying in the home of Tor and Julie and you will get to experience the trust, authenticity and respect that is simply not ‘normal’. Staying here is an experience of the heart.
What beautiful people!
Thank you Tor, Julie and Nettle
