Uncomfortable bed :(

Location was great
I thought I would have a cooking facility from the pictures. However, the qualty of breakfast in their bakery next door was exceptional.

Lots of restaurants right next to the apartment.
Easy access with code, no need for keys or card.
Right next to the beach.

good quality for the money paid. Location was close to peniche but not in the busy places. also in the morning there were some shops and bars an restaurants that could be used for breakfast.

A very good location near the Praia de Consolaçao - Aa big, wide beach. There is a pizzeria and a bakery nearby, where you can drink coffee and eat delicious pastéis de nata. Easy check-in, very good contact with the hosts.

Upon arriving at premises , I thought place was abandoned
Extremely dirty on the outside , front entrance , windows - it actually it did not look that it was functioning
Also was not informed that the check-in was to be done in the bread shop next door . Girl was extremely rude concerning check in and time frame , like it was a big favour to let me in at 1pm , instead of 3pm
I told her I was happy to wait - this was at 12.55pm , so she told me I had to wait “5minutes “ to be able to access room
Not the best welcoming and at no time staff was courteous or helpful
This place was recommended to me by my cousins , but at no time I would suggest it to anybody else
Front of hotel remained dirty ( unswept n full of papers ) not very pleasant to walk in n out
In 5 days room was only cleaned properly once , the rest was a lick n a promise
One of the worst n most unwelcoming places I hv ever stayed

Great location - close to the beach! Have a coffee right next to it! Spacious twin room with little fridge in it!

Comfortable, clean room in great location near the beach with great restaurant close by right on the rocky headland. A great option if you want to avoid busy streets of Peniche.
Nothing.

location, no air-condition

The location of the hotel is literally one block away from the beach. The beach (Frades) is very clean and sandy, more of local scene so its a nice change from being in heavy touristy spot. The hotel is located next to a bakery and the best pizza place we have tried in Portugal so far. The room is small and simple, as shown in the pictures. A bit musty. Host was super accommodating.
Room needs to be aired out to get the musty smell out.

The host is a really wonderful woman, she took care of us, when we had trouble with the room. The whole personal are very lovely too, they pay a lot of attention to us and answer every questions we asked.
The room was always clean, nice and tidy, smell good. Our room has a small refrigerator, which is very practical, when we bought the drink and we could make it stay cold.
Would recommend everyone to stay here during the vacation! 10 out of 10 <3

If you want a trip to Peniche I would highly recommend this hotel. Although a solo traveler I had a twin room and both it and the bathroom were very large. Two beds (pushed together), a desk and chair, a tv, a large closet, a bedside table, a mini fridge, and a small double shelf. The bathroom was large with the option of an above or handheld shower head. The rooms are cleaned to an incredibly high standard. Room 5 is a ground floor room and looks onto a little square with trees and fountains. The option to control temperature is very useful. I did however get a snorer next door which was audible through the wall.
Check-in is in the bakery on the corner, which has excellent pastries. There are two mini-marts in the square which is helpful. Everyone speaks enough English that I had absolutely no problems. The walks are beautiful but it is very isolated with no public transport and very few street demarcations. If you want to get to the fort, port, and tourist boat trips face the sea and walk right for just under 2 hours.
The most important thing to know about a trip to Peniche is that you need to account for travel to and from the venue in your budget. There is no public transport and a taxi from the airport is €90. The driver they sent was nice and competent but this did mean that a €200 trip was actually a €400 trip, which was not clear when I booked and I struggled to cover this cost, leaving me to budget carefully in Peniche.
