Séjour charmant mais un peu cahotique …

Le cadre au milieu de la forêt tropicale avec vue sur l’océan, avec les terrasses c’est vraiment charmant et original. Pablo est un hôte très sympathique.

L’accès, surtout lorsque il a plu est difficile et quelque peu dangereux 4X4 obligatoire; Booking.com devrait le préciser. La plage n’est pas à 350 mètres mais à deux kilomètres dont 1/3 sur le chemin caillouteux et difficile. La douche avec un simple mélangeur impossible à régler;

Beautiful property over looking ocean, in the middle of nature. Very stylish. Decor superb, great breakfast. Very friendly and knowledgeable host. Thank you so much Pablo.

Exceptional

The host Pablo and his dad Luis were very welcoming and kind. They were sharing their favorite places to visit and restaurants to try, which we did and enjoyed! The views of the ocean are incredible, and I couldn't get enough even after one week. My wife and I spotted Tucans and Howler Monkeys and we were awakend by White-Faced Capuchin Monkeys on more than one occasion (which we did not mind at all). The breakfast consisting of local fruits and typical Costarican cusine - or omlet and toast when we wanted to switch things up - were freshly prepared and delicious. And did I mention that we were offered free drinks every night?! I would have stayed longer if it had been possible.

blissful stay in the rainforest

it was such a joy to arrive in this serene spot in amongst the trees, with a great view, close to the highlights in nearby areas (Uvita/Domenica). lovely local hospitality, with lots of great tips for how to spend our days.

Quaint, beautiful hotel!

Loved my stay here! Amazing views! Welcoming and tranquil environment with only a few rooms. The room was fantastic with a comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the jungles - perfect for monkey spotting. The small pool overlooking the jungle and ocean was a plus! Pablo, our host, was exceptional! He provided great recommendations and was very welcoming and friendly. Note that the hotel is off a gravel/dirt road so you need a sturdy car (as you do for most activities in Uvita since they are mostly on gravel roads).

Perfection, beauty, calm.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Toucans, howler monkeys and humming birds right out side our window. The room puts you right in the canopy. There are only three rooms. The people who own and run the place are wonderful. The view from the front communal area and plunge pool is stunning.

I guess one could say it is a bit remote but then that is why we are here. There is only one restaurant that you can walk to but it is litterally next door and is a fantastic Italian that shares the wonderful view so not really a moan but more of a plus.

Great location, amazing breakfast and very nice host

Amazing views from the breakfast table, from our room, from the swiming pool and from the coffee room ! Our bedroom has a direct view on the jungle with monkeys playing. An extremely pleasant host who was of great help to recommend places to visit. Perfectly located to explore the region.

Amazing stay

Service went above and beyond expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and balcony with a glass doors enabling an eye line view of tree tops with monkeys & birds. Great breakfast Loved the idea of leaving messages in a bottle for partners/friends to open in the future. Good Italian restaurant next door but be aware last orders are at 7pm.

All was great. Will return.

A unique gem worth revisiting!

The owner Pablo was a wonderful host! From his personal greeting and helpful information to the delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts, we were so well taken care of. The views are stunning and the lodges are intimate. As we were about to leave Pablo noticed a nail in our tire and he immediately helped us with the tire and get the service we needed for the repair. Such a memorable stay!

If pura vida would be a place to be, this would be it. Amazing hotel and amazing host!

This was the best place we've been during our vacation in Costa Rica. Our host Pablo was really kind, amazing and helpful. The atmosphere was amazing and we could really relax during our stay. The breakfast was perfect too.

Magical place in the green forests of Uvita. Not many other guests, so the host Pablo makes time to help out with any problem or question you might have. Highly recommend to stay here. We surely hope to come back one day.

Amazing place !

We had an amazing stay at la Uvita Perdida. Pablo is very welcoming and gives a lot of tips to visit the places around Uvita. We also liked the fact that it was intimistic (3-4 rooms available so very quiet). The view is amazing, rooms are well decorated and clean. It feels like home. See you soon, Pablo. Exceptional

Run by a Costa Rican family who welcomed us into their beautiful property. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a jungle view from the terrace. There were incredible ocean views from the sitting areas. Breakfast was delicious and Pablo was flexible with timing it to work with our early morning excursions. We appreciated the recommendations for area restaurants, waterfalls and tours. Spider monkeys, toucans and other wildlife visited regularly! I strongly recommend La Uvita Perdida!

Our stay at La Uvita Perdida was one of biggest highlights of our honeymoon trip.

It is nestled in the most amazing part of Costa Rica. you have rain forest and beach views here. It is safe and secluded with only a few rooms available. The lodges are also clean, bug-free, and comfortable. You wake up to wildlife every morning and fall asleep to rain almost every night. The hosts are phenomenal and really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They also have a tradition that makes you want to come revisit even more.

Wonderful 3 nights at La Uvita Perdida

The location is absolutely stunning. You're right in the jungle on the mountainside with an amazing view over the pacific. Our host Pablo was also fantastic! He gave us lots of great advice on things to do in the area, organised a last minute dive trip for us and even got up to make us an early breakfast one day. The breakfast is also delicious.

Our room was relatively basic with a small bathroom. It has everything it needs though and was very clean.

Superb

We loved La Uvita Perdida! In the middle of a forest you can hear the ocean. It has the perfect location between Dominical and Uvita. The owners, a father and his son, are great and give a lot of good recommandations. Bonus: we saw a couple of monkeys and a beautiful yellow bird from our balcony!

Beautiful place

Wonderful location in the middle of the jungle (but only a few minutes drive away from the beach, restaurants, etc.). We had breakfast while the monkeys played in the nearby trees and watched the sunset while smelling the lovely aroma of the ylang ylang tree. The hotel is small (3 rooms) so we felt like star guests. Pablo was a great host and gave us good restaurant recommendations.
