The breakfast was excellent and the host most helpful.
The room was nice but rather small,
. Also as in most B & B's there was a
warm duvet on the bed, and as the temperature was high, this was uncomfortable. However the hostess did try her best to provide an alternative which was acceptable.

It was a very peaceful and tranquil property, with a nice quirkyness
The host Hilary was lovely

We had a very warm welcome. Any needs or help were happily provided.
We stayed in the smaller suite, which is very compact. The larger was definitely worth the extra cost.

Wonderful stay. Quiet and peaceful location. Friendly helpful host. Breakfast was delicious and cooked excellently.

I booked this for my father and partner and they had a lovely time. Lindsey is the perfect host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They had fantastic accommodation, breakfasts and a peaceful setting. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful location and Hilary’s hosting was superb, nothing was too much trouble

Lovely location in beautiful surroundings. Peace and Quiet. Easy to find, using the excellent directions provided by Hilary; but very convenient for Loughborough and Leicester. Very warm welcome upon arrival. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast.
The weather on our arrival was appalling, but Hilary couldn't have done anything about that!
4.7
peaceful haven
excellent breakfast
friendly but not intrusive hosts
curtains! they didn’t cover the whole window so there was just a voile panel in the middle.
however with no light pollution it ended up not being a problem.

Powerful-pressure shower, lovely bathroom...
Huge comfy bed,... even with a single-room accommodation. I slept so well!
During the day it was advisable to block out direct sun & heatwave by means of closing the curtains, at night times the room could be aired by opening doors & mansard window. Air Condition is there but wasn't required this way.
The breakfast is just outstanding, everything fresh & home made, selected Mushroom Caps to host five or six Mini Cocktail Tomatoes , a lovely even artisan arrangement _ easily within my "ever top-3": A++++
15min to Leicester City centre; ideal for Sightseeing Visitors that are Nature-Lovers
a Sat /Nav directions or excellent local Map is required/ recommended to find this accommodation.
Once arrived there - any farm/horse-riding/ animal enthusiast & nature lover will just adore that place.

Amazing location and the breakfast was lovely

The breakfast was very good and tastefully presented. We just had an ordinary cooked breakfast (with superior sausages and bacon) but I noticed that Hilary had made extra efforts to provide a tasty vegetarian alternative. We sat outside in the pleasant courtyard. The Garden Unit where we stayed was well appointed and felt very private and safe. The decor was quirky but interesting.
The stables and paddock were next to the courtyard and our room. This provided added interest but would not be suitable for anyone with a serious allergy to horses.

Due to the beautiful weather, where we had our outside breakfast was very pleasant
When on holiday I like breakfast later than 9am. Cooked English breakfast was lovely but no offer of anything else - an offer of toast & marmalade would have been nice. We were abandoned to the horses after our cooked breakfast had been served. Also I don’t like pre ordering breakfast the moment I arrive for a two night stay. Our room was grubby and dark and not as described - an outside eating area didn’t exist which we were expecting.

The breakfast was superb, the facilities great with a lovely big comfortable bed, and the hosts were welcoming and made you feel almost like part of the family, great.
A bigger shower but im a fatty :):) LOL

Breakfast was a delight, freshly cooked, superb ingredients and lovely presentation.
The room itself (Stable Room) was very eclectic with many influences and decorations and trinkets to enhance the ambience. Bed was super-comfortable! The small private garden space was very useful for exercising our little dog.
The breakfast facilities, either outside or in the dining room were very comfortable and tasteful.
Hilary was a lovely host who made us feel very welcome indeed.
A mini fridge in the room would be a big enhancement, and maybe a shelf for washbags in the en-suite? Other than that all requirements were met.
