I really liked staying at this pub. The room we had was lovely - very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were really helpful and the food was nice (and reasonably priced). Will definitely re-visit next time we are in the area.

Really lovely stay. Everything was perfect, staff were helpful and friendly, they even upgraded our room. Beautiful rooms and the restaurant food was fabulous. Would definitely recommend it.

A very nice room but spoilt by our welcome. We arrived early and obviously waited for our room to be ready. When I enquired after a while I had a response which again pointed out we were early and then I realised my one credit card I had misplaced and had no sympathy from the manager only that I had to pay the bill! After waiting a while this seemed un called for!

I've stayed here many times and it's always great. Stayed in 'Lizzie Rose' this time and it was a super room. Lots of space and a patio. It is opposite the function rooms so may get a little noisy if there's an event on but a great stay.

Went for Valentine’s Day and stayed overnight! Lunch was superb with a particularly good lovers menu!!!! and the room was amazing. Very pleased will visit again!

A friendly welcome and quick check-in and then shown to my room to check I was happy. I stayed in the 'Bella Sweet' room which was a great size with a large bathroom. I didn't stay for breakfast in the morning but had a great meal in the evening. If possible I will take the opportunity to stay here again when away with work.

Useful for those with mobility problems as many bedrooms in the courtyard are on the ground floor. However there are a few steps to get into the restaurant. The food is usually very good.

We always stay here when in the area. The staff are wonderful and the food very good. Being disabled, I stay in a downstairs room in the courtyard, but there are a few steps up to the Manor itself, so the accessibility is the only disadvantage.

Our stay was super - hottest day in UK history 40.5. The staff were like a little family- great rapport with each other. Service was 1st class throughout our 3 day stay. Food was good- portions are huge. Outside area was plentiful - although furniture needed some TLC - chairs a little rickety. Room was lovely but in such hot weather a little fridge is an essential- having no access to cold drinks in the room was an issue - but the only issue. Room was cleaned daily - room facilities were,again, 1st class.

The Stay was brilliant! The room was more than adequate for the 3 of us. We had a nice patio at the back which could be accessed easily. There wasn't much noise filtering into the rooms although the bar in front was quite busy on the day we arrived. The Service was excellent and quick. The bathroom was in excellent condition and clean. We also sat down to eat dinner which the management was able to cater for although it was last minute and on an extremely busy day.

The room was beautifully decorated. We were greeted by homemade biscuits which was a lovely treat. The staff were lovely. There was even bath salts for the roll top! A lovely mid-week stay.

I had a lovely 2 night stay at The Manor House. A very warm welcome from Phil and the team and there was no issues with my suite, it was all so comfortable and perfect. I hope to make it my frequent stop for work stay overs.

Such a great place to stay - my second stay here and each room is different. This one was upstairs and HUGE! Every little thing thought of and a big tub to have a soak. Food in the pub is great and the staff were all really helpful and friendly. Will stay again. Thank you!
