De tuin is echt geweldig! In het zwembad is het heerlijk vertoeven voor of na een jeep safari. Het eten was ook goed. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Meer dan prima verblijf dus.
Op de website staat dat er een hottub aanwezig is. Deze hebben wij niet gezien. Er zitten wel wat jets in het zwembad.

In Sri Lanka zie je vaak hele hoge cijfers bij beoordelingen. Vaak wordt er heel actief om een hoog cijfer gevraagd. Doe dit alleen als het hotel het echt waard is, niet alleen maar als dit gevraagd wordt. Beoordeel niet alleen de ardige eigenaar of medewerkers, maar ook het hotel en de kamer zelf. Anders is het voor je medereizigers heel lastig om een juist hotel te vinden.
Dit hotel had een erg ,ooi zwembad, goede locatie dichtbij het nationaal park.
Het hotel zag er beduidend beter uit op de foto's dan hoe het in echt eruit zag. Dit geeft een wat vertekend beeld. De douchekop was helemaal verkalkt en de kamers zagen er niet zo nieuw meer uit. De wifi viel vaak uit, en was niet stabiel. Er was weinig keus voor eten, we vroegen om noodles en kregen een bak met rijst en kip. Ook wat gehorig.

De kamer wordt niet schoon gemaakt tijdens het verblijf. Ook geen schone handdoeken. Wij hadden ook twee avonden last van blaffende honden onder het raam en andere gasten in het hotel die om 5 uur ‘s morgens lawaai maakte.

Отель окружает небольшой, но уютный сад. Много тени. Так же есть отличный чистый небольшой бассейн. Номер на втором этаже был отличным. В нем чисто, уютно и тихо, вся техника работала. Прекрасный вид на сад с балкона. Встретивший меня представитель отеля был доброжелателен, предложил организовать сафари.
Крайне неприятным моментом был чекаут. Я попросил принять оплату в долларах, на что этот человек любезно согласился. Он выдал мне на сдачу 25$ двумя купюрами, 5 и 20. Я сразу обратил внимание на какой-то синий штамп на купюре в 20$. Я не очень разбирался в этом вопросе и не знал стоит ли этому придавать значение. Я спросил у человека не будет ли с такой купюрой проблем. На что он мне уверенно ответил что никаких проблем не будет. По итогу эту купюру не приняли ни в обменнике ни в двух банках и посоветовали обменять через таксистов. Я нашел таксиста, который обменял мне купюру по курсу - 38%. Я потерял на этом 2500 рупий. Поэтому сам отель, с точки зрения здания и территории я бы рекомендовал. Персонал же оставляет желать лучшего. Будьте осторожны. Не смотря на доброжелательность вас наверняка попытается обмануть этот хитрый не добропорядочный человек.

El hotel es precioso, además está todo super limpio y muy cerca de la estación. Me he alojado dos noches para hacer el safari y ha sido un acierto. Me han preparado un desayuno muy bueno, y el dueño se ha ofrecido a llevarme a la estación para coger el autobus. Super serviciales. Trato y estancia de 10.

Amazing views and beautiful pool. Rooms are big and spacious. Clean bedrooms and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Photos doesn't do the justice.. I recommend spend a good afternoon relaxing at this place

The room is clean and nice, there're all the stuffs we need inside, the garden and swimming pool is beautiful, it's good memory to stay one night here. Especially the boss is so friendly and kind, they can also book the Jeep to Yala national park, offering good food and fruits after we come back. I'll recommend my friend if they have the plan to visit Tissa.

The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. There is a well maintained pool. You can get food for a very reasonable price and the food is very delicious 10/10. The staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating. Very good experience.
Make sure to bring mosquito repellent, there are quite a few mosquitos around.

I booked a trip to Yala with the hotel (paid 158000 for 8 people - whole day). We Got a Jeep, that did not fit 8 people and without a cooler plus they did not tell us that we Could not drive around in Yala from 12 to 2, so we did not prepare for a long midday break.

The personnel and the owner did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfest was very good with lots of fresh fruit. The swimming pool was amazing and it was one of the only hotels with family rooms. They arranged 2 Safari trips for us to Yala and Bundala Bird Paradise and we had very good drivers and guides. Price was very competitive.

They opened the pool for us when we arrived after dark 7pm, so our children could swim. The staff, except from the owner of the property were all very nice.
We arrived at the hotel having already completed a safari that day, arranged independently; however, the owner of the hotel kept asking if we will do a safari, booked with himself, the next day. After telling him no thank you, he proceeded to accost me later in the evening asking me to write down on his phone how much I had paid for my safari trip and then getting annoyed that I had arranged this cheaper than he was charging. He then asked what time I wanted breakfast the next morning and suggested we had breakfast at 5:30 am, when I told him this was too early and 8:30 would be more suitable, he told me that would be too late for the safari!!! He was still trying to get us to go on his safari trip the next day, despite me telling him on several occasions we did not need a safari excursion!
At dinner we ordered two plates of noodles, there was no menu to order from and so we had no idea of the costs of these meals. Whilst eating our dinner, the hotel owner came to our table and discussed the price of our room with us, he suggested that we should actually pay extra for our room as the exchange rate between USD and the Ruppee had dropped!! We laughed this off as we felt very uncomfortable by this point. We decided we did not want to take breakfast at the hotel, and wished to check out ASAP, I informed the man at the desk early in the morning (6am) of our change of plan and all was ok. However, once we went to check out at 9am the owner again asked us to have breakfast before we left, which we declined. On receiving our hotel bill we had been charged 10,000 Sri Lankan Ruppees (£25) for our 2 plates of noodles!!!
On leaving, we told our driver about our experience and he told us that the previous evening, the owner had shouted him for driving up the driveway to drop us and our luggage off. Also, the staff at the hotel seemed very afraid of him. One final note to add, our bed sheets and towels were stained yellow, however the room was clean.

The owner of the hotel Ranijith, the manager Jewak and the hotel staff are offering very kind and friendly attidute with beautiful place to rest and relax.They planned bus trip, gave us fresh fruits and best tea in the world.
Around the hotel there is very beautiful garden with many types of tree. Inside of the garden u can find hidden swimming pool with crystal water ,hidden in palm trees.
Rooms are the cleanest ones i ever seen in Sri Lanka. U can book a trip to the Yala park for good price at the hotel. I recommend this place for all types of people.We cant wait to see this beautiful place again next year!

Hotel was nice enough, decent pool despite 5 staff sat around it most of the time.
Had to fill out a form with 100 questions on arrival... why? Give me my key and show me to the room I'm only here for one night.
Assumed we were going on safari without asking if we wanted to which caused alot of confusion. Felt very scammy when asked how much and doesn't know the answer so just pulls a number out of the ether.

They picked us up at 11 pm from a bus stop 20 minutes away, they arranged a private safari with a really good driver
We didn't get the room that we should have got, the toilet wasn't flushing and the bathroom wasn't clean. 30 minutes after our arrival we found out the electric plugs are not the normal Srilankan ones, so we are not able to charge our devices. No one was at the reception, so we called their number to solve it. The guy was pissed that we called him at midnight. I understand that, however, we didn't ask for anything extra - this should definitely have been ready before our arrival!
We booked this hotel because of the safari option. We wanted to know what their safari includes, so we called them to make sure our expectations are met. They promised us to leave at 5 am for a 7hours safari with breakfast included. Well, it turned out to be a 4hours safari with no free breakfast (and we left at 5:30). The driver was really nice, but we didn't see much in the park :( Btw, the breakfast cost 1500 each for a piece of bread, a small banana & a slice of pineapple. If we knew that the safari lasts only 4 hours, we wouldn't have even asked for breakfast!
In the end, they made up the dollars to lkr price by 45 lkr per dollar more, they also wanted us to pay 2500 lkr for a ride they said they would arrange for us not telling us this before hand - if we knew this, we would have taken a tuk-tuk that would cost less than 1000 lkr.
To sum it up, they provided a horrible service asking for 10 000 lkr more than was first stated. This is absolutely unacceptable and I don't recommend anyone to pay for their services!

Good location if you’re visiting Yala, beautiful garden.
I don’t understand how this place got a 8.6 score. I booked the room in the morning of our arrival day and we arrived late in the evening. The room was ok, but there were problems with the cleanliness. The bed sheets were a bit dirty as were the carpets, and overall it just didn’t feel clean to me. Very worn interior, which I can live with if there aren’t bugs crawling everywhere.
The reason for giving this not-so-good review however, is due to the manager of the place. Besides making comments about my physical appearance which made me feel very uncomfortable, we were asked to cancel our booking so he could earn more than what he would get through booking.com. When I explained to him it was a non-refundable booking, and I would be charged either way, he looked very annoyed and once we went to pay for our stay, he would only accept cash. I looked through our bill and he charged a ridiculous amount for the breakfast we were served (cold eggs and very dry toast) and he also decided it was appropriate to add a little extra to the room rates as well as a 10% service charge!? I showed him my booking confirmation which clearly stated all taxes were included, and he shrug his head and asked me if it was a problem… and proceeded to tell me he felt it was fair because we arrived late in the evening (11 pm)… The audacity of this man!
Anyways, after a while going back and forth the amount was corrected but nevertheless I had a strong feeling he was trying to hustle every possible penny out of me, which is the main reason why I can’t recommend this place.
As we were leaving the property with our driver, he followed us to the car and asked me to give him a good review. But honestly, there’s no way I can do that when I was met with such horrible and dishonest behaviour.
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay, it’s not worth it here.

The pool was the best part of the hotel!
The room we had was ok - nothing special but fine.
Staff very friendly and keen to provide a pleasant stay.
The room was not really clean - there were stains on the bedsheets and the towels. We had to wait over an hour for the food because there was a problem with a missing man in the national park and the police which they had to sort out as they told us later. So, everything was a bit chaotic but as soon as they had time they gave their best.The food we had (chicken fried rice) was very dry and cold, which might be connected to the problem they had, though... So, hopefully it was an exception. The next day they tried to make it up by driving us to the bus station free of charge, which was a kind gesture.

The rooms were very spacious and nice, also the garden with swimming pool was beautifull. Location is great, close to bus station and there are some restaurants nearby.
We had a little discussion regarding the safari tour in Yala. First we booked the hotel and received some more information on the 5 hour morning safari tour and prices via booking chat. We thought it was quite expensive so they gave some discount and offered a shared jeep with another 2 couples, which would be less expensive. We decided to go with that option. Once we arrived they said the other couples decided to take the 7 hour safari and that would be better because of expected rain (in the end there was no rain), of course against a higher price. We agreed.
The morning of safari, just before we started they said 1 couple cancelled so we had to pay a higher price as we were only with 4 instead of 6 now. The day before they assured us it were going to be 6 people. After pointing this out they did not charge the extra costs for being with 4 instead of 6. So at the end they solved it well, but we did had the feeling they tried to get extra money from us by offering the 7 hour tour and mentioning a 6 people price while it were only 4.
The staff did remain friendly and apologised for the situation which we appreciated.
