The most peaceful and beautiful location, the hot tub on the porch was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Cabin has everything you need and is super comfortable. It’s my second visit here and I highly recommend.
Nothing. It’s my favourite spot in Iceland

Really nice little cabin getaway. Seemingly newly renovated with a nice interior and all the basics you need. Wonderful to have the BBQ and easy to fill the hottub and spend hours relaxing.

Great location being outside of Akureyri and next to the Fjord. The hot tub outside on the decking was a great addition to the accommodation.
Overall, the inside was very clean and comfy and a good place to stay if travelling in the area.
There were a few issues with accommodation, which meant a fee message to the owner to let them know things weren't working.
1. Outside light above, the hot tub wasn't working, so I had to make do with using a small torch I had brought to illuminate outside.
2. The cooker hob wasn't working and kept tripping out the main electrical breaker so we couldn't use the hob for cooking the food we brought.
3. The light in the living area in front of the sofa was very dim and actually didn't project much light.
4. The information booklet could do with instructions on how to use the cooker and also in the absence of the laundry bin, where to leave all the bedding, etc.
All of the above are fixable but just created a bit of an experience whilst staying there.

Location was fantastic, saw dolphins from the hot tub.
Hot tub was also great after a swim in the fjord.
Tv was a nice treat for a movie after a busy day.
The coffee machine was difficult to use (probably because im a tea drinker)
The hob seemed to keep turning off so we used the 'back up' hob.
Nothing that distracted from a fantastic stay.

The atmosphere of the chalet, the proximity to the Atlantic ocean, the scenery, the responsiveness of the host.
Nothing to mention.

The beautiful scenery, hot tub, cleanliness and roominess.
The shower could be a little bigger, but other wise a great place!

We rate Brekka house, the larger one. The location was amazing, hot tube great, the house was fully equipped and clean, much larger than I expected. I am glad we stayed longer than one night there. Really great place
I think the owner should think about changing the mattresses as this was missing to perfection :) oh, and insect screens in some windows / ie. in bedrooms/ would be advisable at least in summer.

During our journey, we discovered one of the finest hotels in Iceland. It was a separate cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy bedroom. Outside, there was a private jacuzzi and barbecue area. The views were simply awe-inspiring, truly beyond imagination.

Great views of the fjord. Privacy, peaceful, extreme landscape beauty. The facilities are top notch. Private hot tub (jacuzzi) on the balcony available 24/7 - just indulge. Immaculate cleanliness. Sharp wifi, smart TV. Good coffee Nespresso machine. Terrace furniture in excellent shape. A great choice for the area - highly recommended.

It was my second time here, and i will be back for sure! It's just 25 minutes from the second biggest city in Iceland, Akureiry.
It sits in the Troll Peninsula, where these amazing small icelandic towns are situated, highly recommend a drive to Siglufjörður!
The cabins overlook the fjord, so you can count with amazing views! If you are lucky you can probably spot some whales in the summer from your cabin windows.
The cabin is big and well maintened. It has everything in the kitchen to prepare meals and a nice coffee machine.
Nice and confortable living room.
The room is rathher small but it's very cozy and the bed is one of the best beds i have slept in.
Outside you have a barbecue and last but not least a big private hot tub!!! Views from the tub to the fjord! Doesn't get better then that!
The place is quiet and private, there is nothing but the cabins and the owenrs house in the area.

A great Stay in Hauganes Iceland with a nice bedroom and a comfortable living space! The Guesthouse is really near the Hauganes City with the Best Way to do whale Watching in Iceland! A awesome surprise was the hot tub we enjoyed it a lot!

This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The scenery is stunning. We watched the northern lights studded with shooting stars, backdropped by snowy peaks. Whales were spouting in the fjord, seals playing, birds fishing. I can't possibly describe the profound stillness and vastness of this very special landscape. The cabin is perfectly appointed. It is cozy, comfortable, stylish, modern, and rustic all at once. The hot tub is clean and a perfect temperature. Thank you for sharing this place with us, I walked away humbled by the raw beauty of Iceland.
This place is utter perfection.

We liked the cottage very much! It has a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. Very warm and cozy. The location is perfect, right next to the sea, and the beautiful mouintains over the fjord. We even enjoyed the northern lights! The hot tub is a nice treat after a whole day of sightseeing.
The bathroom looks a little bit dated, the shower is very small and old. Noisy water pipes, we could hear them in the sleeping room.
