Caring host, basic but affordable accommodations, not far from San Silvestro Vaporetto stop.

We appreciated having two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

No elevator. Kitchen could be better appointed. Could be noisy in the evenings due to people in the street, but this didn't usually go too late.

Good location

Convenient Location- a few minutes from the famous Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal, this allowed us to explore the city primarily on foot Well-Equipped Kitchen- all the basics needed for our stay, including coffee maker. We had breakfast each day, plus one takeaway dinner. Good Sleeping Conditions: Ca' Venissa surprised us with its relative quiet. Additionally, the shutters let us get the room really dark, which we prefer for sleep.

Unreliable Internet- the Wifi connection proved to be quite problematic, leading us to restart the device multiple times each day. Even when it was working it tended to be quite slow. Unavailable Laundry Facilities - the washing machine was located in a locked closet, and by the time we figured things out it was too late to start (since everything needs to air dry). Lack of Door in Master Bathroom - we knew this would be an issue when we booked, but we also knew there was a second bathroom with a proper door, so we just used that one. This might be more difficult for those traveling with companions or family members. Dim Stairway at Night - the stairway leading to the apartment was quite dim during nighttime.

After booking and paying on the site, we were asked to add an additional 60 euros in cash as the price listed on booking.com was incorrect. Still a good price but we would have been more comfortable if all payments were done via the site

The property was central and easy to all parts of Venice. it was surround but quick bites, restaurants and wind bars. The host was amazing, easy to reach and provided plenty of detail to truely enjoy Venice

Can’t wait to return! Beautiful apartment!

A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. Away from the hustle and noise of the tourist sites (just a short walk)! Gave us a chance for a short stroll through the real neighborhoods of Venice. The hostess was very communicative and accommodating. Had no worries before I arrived and it was the same throughout our stay! Beds were sooo comfortable. The bunk bed was a little high for my cautious kids (and similarly cautious mom), but there was a comfy padded cushion that we unfolded on the floor for our youngest. We were a family of four (kids 11 and 14) and it was perfect!

lovely place to stay with the family.

Comfortable, clean modern flat. Great location, easy walk to nice restaurants and water bus stop. Rosellas recommendations were really good, we had several excellent meals and loved introducing the kids to Venice.

Home away from home!

Great location! Everything was very accessible. Apartment was very clean and the AC was wonderful! Our host was above and beyond for us!! We felt very safe and secure as well.

The description had included a washer and dryer, however, we did not have access to it. We have been traveling for several days to different countries and would have appreciated having access to a washer and dryer.

Wonderful apartment in excellent location!

The location was superb, Rialto bridge in 3 mins and San Marco in approx. 10 mins. Rosella gave clear directions as to where to pick up the keys. She was responsive on Whatsapp to any questions we had. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby also. The apartment was spotless and the rooms were a lot larger than we expected. It was equipped with all we needed and had extra pillows, blankets and towels in case we needed them.

I was a little unclear on how the rubbish bin system worked!

So, it is possible to find a great and affordable place to stay in Venice with kids!

Best place we stayed during our holidays in Northern Italy. The place is located 3 minutes away from the vaporetto without the need to cross any bridges (very comfortable if you have small kids in a stroller). Very spacious, bright rooms, two bathrooms. The host are connected to whatsapp and are very helpful providing your with tips how to eat well in Venice (anybody who has been there knows how extremely hard that is) and what to do not to get ripped off by tourist traps. Definitely recommend it.

The flat is perfect. Nothing to complain about. The area is however close to the main one-day tourist route so obviously not to good in terms of food and you have to wonder away a little bit. Not to far though. Really everything was great 😊

Perfectly sized, good value, brilliantly located and well-equipped apartment. It was perfect for our two-night stay - we’re a couple and two children.

Honey moon in Venice

We loved everything about Ca’ Venissa! Conveniently located in the heart of Venice, easily accessible from the station and to every venetian landmarks with a lovely walk. Rossella, the owner, has been amazing giving us detailed information about how to reach the flat and with a fantastic list of restaurants and attractions which we loved! The flat was super clean and adherent to Covid-19 regulations with masks and hand sanitizer being also provided. The flat is really nicely decorated, quiet and with every comfort. We had the most amazing weekend in the most beautiful city of the world! We will definitely come back to this property in Venice!
