A fabulous city hotel! They had happy hour drinks for hotel guests for free which was so cute! Quite a few people met and were chatting to each other etc! The staff were lovely and there is a great rooftop pool!
The location is central but doesn't have any views.
4.5
The location was good to walk to many of the principal attractions. The facilities, breakfast and staff were exceptional.
5.0
The room was a good size for 2 travellers with loads of luggage.
The property was beautiful.
3.5
We picked the hotel because of their pet friendly policy. The room was setup and ready with doggie beds and bowls
There is no parking or even a drive way for easy drop off/pick up. Although it’s pet friendly the closest grass was a couple of minutes walk away. They have an open rooftop which could have a garden space for pets

We had one of the corner rooms and the room was exceptionally laid out, WOW! I certainly wish the stay could have been longer.
I found everything very satisfactory

Great location - fab staff on checkin and the porter was fantastic too. Room was not available at 0930am so they stored bags and when we got back the bags were in our room!
Loved the wine meet up with other guests for an hour or so at 5pm

Very clean. newly renovated. It's enjoyable for a business trip/ travel alone.
Absolutely NOT liking the breakfast service. As it's for business trip I intended to leave 45 mins to come down, quick breakfast for 20 mins and go. (leaving 25 mins for restaurant to serve and operate). However, there was only ONE staff, who were super slow, checking in with EACH guest and I have been waiting for at least 20 mins while I saw NO guest was led into the restaurant for 15 minutes. While it's my turn that's another 5 mins for the staff to 'type something' into the system.
I flagged/ asked if I could get a quick coffee or how long should I need to wait (as I have only 25 minutes left) while I can see the breakfast is a order-to-made style. The worst thing I got is the staff was very rude and indifferent and said 'she's working on it' and ran away even if i asked if i could get a quick one and leave.
I know there's work to do and it's not like a fast food restaurant and some thing has to be typed into the computer, I guess this is not a guest should bear for the slow speed of an untrained staff.
My gratitude to the front desk staff who solved my problem.
So, if it's for business trip I definitely would recommend NOT to pick this hotel if you need to work, eat and spend time within ONE premises for efficiency. Definitely dreaded the entire impression of staying here.
Also I had ordered two room services during the night and the quality were really bad as well. Oysters were super small and I had to order another meal. I would rather pick another hotel for work in light of the incompetence of the service of the restaurant. Feeling really bad for this experience.

Room, bed and bathroom all very good. Good size. Quiet. I liked the lounge and bar area..
Lights in the room and control of. I didn’t like the tablet to find things out.

Was spotless and rooms were big for a city hotel. Love the modem rooms and big bathroom as well. Service fantastic

Ambiance and vibe , great meeting place
Rooms of different type / size should be distinctly categorised to avoid confusion .

Nice art deco setting with very friendly staff. Rooms were modern and well maintained. Concourse/atrium really nice and social
Not quite in the middle of the core CBD but all walking distance and still on Pitt Street
4.5
Staff were excellent, lots of extra little touches during our stay. Great experience.
4.5
Most things.
The only problem for us is the room lighting. It’s annoying not being able to turn on the reading lamps manually when they are controlled by a central lighting panel on the wall and the panel next to the bed didn’t help. but it’s the only issue I’ve had after two satays at the KM.
4.0
The service was good. The food in the restaurant was high quality (with prices to match). Quietest hotel room ever stayed in (on level 1 atrium). Clean and spacious room with old school charm.
A bit difficult to find from parking station as it is tucked inside an outer building..you need to walk through outer building first to reach Kimpton..easier to find from Pitt St side of building.
Shower didn't have a closing door so very draughty..mini bar menu not easy to find on tablet.(strategic??) Everything really expensive on mini bar menu. Breakfast menu could do with some improvements.
3.0

Excellent location
Poor quality of the included breakfast

The location was very central
the room was very comfortable
All the staff I came into contact with were extremely friendly and welcoming.
I didn't like the room service choices. I thought the menu was pretty limited and not varied enough.
5.0
Gorgeous property - hospitality and luxury.
Mistakes with mini-bar. I didn't purchase what I was charged for but received a full, immediate refund.
4.5
service, location, standard of rooms and common areas.
no parking (but some public parking close by)
