EXPERIÊNCIA ÚNICA

A hospedagem superou minhas expectativas. O quarto atende a todas as necessidades e possui banheiro privativo com água quente. É bem decorado e tem uma vista linda para o Lago Titicaca. O quarto não tem aquecedor, mas eles oferecem bolsa térmicas com água quente para por embaixo dos lençóis, próximos aos pés e ajuda bastante. A chegada até a ilha era algo que me preocupava, mas eles vão buscar até o porto e cobram um pequeno valor pela ida e volta. Bitar e sua família foram muitos receptivos. Eles também oferecem passeios para as demais ilhas e jantar tudo por um preço muito em conta. O jantar é bem simples, mas muito bem feito e saboroso assim como o café da manhã que já está incluso no valor da diária. Foi uma experiência única e que valeu muito a pena. Com certeza voltaria outras vezes.

Stay here if you go to Puno

If I can rate it with 100.0, I will, but booking.com only has 10.0. The host is nice and the property is nice too. It is just a 5-star hotel on a floating island. It has private bathroom right in your room and the hot water runs 24 hours. The island is cold at night, but the blanket on the bed is more than enough. The host offers a tour to visit nearby floating islands. The tour is comprehensive (2hours) and at a very very reasonable price. The view from the room is fantastic, and it is located on the far end of the island chain so not crowded.

Quiet and comfortable stay at a lovely family island

We organized a pickup with Vidal in advance and reached the island at noon already. He brought us to some nice lunch place. The Summa Paqari Island is located very calm and with a nice view. We had some great dinner prepared by his lovely family and played some games with his adorable son. It’s very comfortable and quiet at the island. Vidal helped us with getting to Cusco and avoid road blocks by going earlier than planned. Bring some warm clothes for the night, as it gets really cold!

Superb

Our host Vidal was very friendly and together with his father made out short stay (1 night) very pleasent. The accomodation is just a short (15 minutes) boat ride away from Puno, so very accessible. The rooms are big, and even if it's cold during the night, there are thick blankets to cover yourself with so that makes for a comfortable sleep.

Unforgotable experience!

Everything was perfect! View from house is georges. Possibility to sleep on floating island is amazing. Dinner and breakfest was fresh and delicious. Host made for us trip throught Uros Islands, it was unforgotable experience. Great memories!

Cool stay on Reed island

Cool stay!

Could offer coffee/tea earlier in morning for early risers. Maybe small space heaters for use in rooms when in them. Pretty cold this time of year.

Beautiful unique experience

I had 1 day nice stay with the Uros family. It's such a wonderful unique experience! The house is clean spacious sunny nice. The family is friendly helpful and arranged to pick me up on different floating island and brought me back to the port next day. The place is so beautiful. I had my best sunbathing in life. It's highly recommended!

Interesting Stay out on the Floating Islands

The lakefront view was spectacular and the family that hosted us was very nice and welcoming. It was a cool experience to live on the floating islands for a few days and see their way of living. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the day bed watching the sunset and the lighting storm that happened one of the nights we were there.

Getting picked up from the port was a little bit confusing but the locals helped to call our family to come get us. The accommodation is nice but pretty basic so manage your expectations.

Floating, relaxing, learning

Vidal contacted us several times to make sure our arrival would go smoothly. The family was welcoming. The dinner and breakfast was delicious, honest food. The atmosphere was relaxed. We had our privacy. The price value was great. What we liked the most was the daybed on the outside terrace!!! The next morning, Vidal offered us a boat trip to show us the Titicaca lake. It was a wonderful experience. Especially as he shared many aspects of the life on Uros with us.

Great experience

- nice staff - clean rooms - great view out of the rooms

- unfortunately there is no wifi - the portions of the meals (we had dinner and breakfast) were too small, we weren‘t full after dinner and they put the price for dinner to 25soles (since i‘ve read in some reviews that it was 20S)

A perfect stay

The place is so beautiful. Room with a view on the lake. The stars are so bright at night. The food is delicious and healthy with fresh ingredients. The tours we booked by them where perfect.

There is no heating so prepare warm clothes.the staff is so nice to give warm water during the night so you can have a coca tea or coffee. And a warm water bottle for the bed👍

Unique experience on the floating islands!

Very personal experience. You get to learn much about the indigenous culture of the people living on the Uros Islands. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable, hot shower and great breakfast!
