I would stay again.

I loved this place. Old world charm in a great location. The park across the street great for families, lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself basic but charming

Da localização .

A noite funciona como um restaurante chinês e sobe muito cheiro de comida. Os funcionários muito atenciosos mas os donos muito mal educados. Chuveiro com ralo entupido.

Great value hotel in excellent location.

Hotel location is excellent. Beautiful park opposite and walkable to Downtown San Jose. Buffet breakfast with good variety to suit everyone. Two large comfortable beds.

Hairdryer had to be collected from Reception. Fridge and microwave were not in the room but a communal area outside.

If you can deal with being on a busy street, I recommend this place to all!

The staff was really attentive and on it. Accommodations and rules were clear cut.

Some of the rooms are facing the very busy/noisy street.

A convenient, but basic hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast ok

Very basic room. Bed comfortable enough but access only from one side as pushed against a wall. No bedside table on one side. Water flow from tap very weak. Nowhere to put anything in bathroom.

Ubicación, joven que realizó el check in era amable.

Personal de la noche groceso, especialmente uno que me realizó comentarios con tonos racistas y perdió el control ante un problema que tuve con el parqueo (el cual solucioné sola porque no contestaban el teléfono) al punto que para mi no lo consideré lugar seguro para quedarme. Al final se disculpó, pero no no excusa los 20min que tuve que soportarle esas actitudes. En fin, si no quieren terminar manejando o buscando otro lugar en la madrugada hacia otro lugar, no me arriesgaría. Realmente no lo recomiendo. Me hicieron la devolución del dinero, pero mintieron en Booking indicando que nunca hice el checkin.

La ubicación esta excelente, esta frente a un parque y un estadio. Las habitaciones son comodas y cumplen con su proposito.Tiene varias opciones cercas como un restaurant de comida peruana muy buena y una tienda de conveniencia

Superb

I had very specious room, quiet, nice stuff. Very friendly. They gave me coffe even after breakfast hours. There is a supermarket on walking distance, few rental car locations.

It was good vallue for the room. The meal was a bit pricey but enough food for leftovers

The room was very clean and although they did not have an elevator the staff were very helpful in getting larger bags to the room,

the breakfast was great! Many items to choose from, Fresh fruit and eggs, toast, jam, etc. The meal we had the night before in the restaurant was okay but tasty. The beef tenderloin was a bit overdone but alot of vegetables and tasty rice dish. The Miso soup and salad that accompanied the meal were wonderful. The service was very slow. The restaurant was basically empty with one large table leaving shortly after we left and it was just myself and my friend.

Good location and breakfast!

Breakfast was good, wonderful view, very good location. Very safe. Staff so friendly and helpful.

Bathroom too small, shower warm but very thin, unfortunately a bit clogged. No hangers, not even in the bathroom.

In Booking it states the hotel has a private parking but basically cars are parked outside in the street and it does not provide a sense of security leaving the care parked there.

The Japanese restaurant was excellent! Good price and wondeful food!

The Japanese restaurant served excellent food. However, one of the mattresses in the Pooky room was very lumpy (I could feel the springs). Needs to be changed or at least put on a topper mattress.

The mattress in the Pooky room was not comfortable. I could feel the springs. Suggestions: replace mattress or put on a foam topper. it would make for a more enjoyable stay.

Hotel Columbus is in a great location, just across the street from Sabana Park. All the staff were so polite and helpful and friendly.. it was amazing. I didn’t realize at booking that the hotel only had a staircase, but the staff took all my bags up the stairs and into my room for me (very heavy bags). My room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. I also had some great Asian fusion meals at the restaurant on the ground floor.

The bed could be updated, but I slept very well.

The room was spacious and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the room contained 3 large windows, which were nice to have.

The staff wasn’t able to speak english. In my case this was good, since I wanted to practice my spanish but I could see it being e problem for non-spanish speakers.
