Nice and quite place to stay.
Close to the town
Be careful with the door entrance, taller people may hit.

The owner had made sure everything you could need was in the property. it snowed when we were there but between a Rayburn and a log burner (and heating) we were lovely and toasty. The views from the windows were amazing onto unspoilt Welsh countryside. Lots of walks. whole property spotlessly clean. safe parking. we had a lovely 5 days and will definitely go back again
Very little!

Great spot to stay for the Real ale wobble. Clean comfy and only a mile from town...
Parking was a little tight for two cars, the narrow lanes makes it difficult to manoeuvre cars up driveway etc, front drive could do with being opened up.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and close to the local amenities for meals and shopping. Would definitely recommend. Roger, one of the hosts, is very helpful and easy to contact.
There wasn't anything disagreeable.

The hosts are so friendly and had got in touch before we arrived to say we could arrive earlier than expected (normally 5pm) as they had managed to get the property changed over nice and early. There are Ordnance Survey maps! Stairgates for toddlers in both cottages. The kitchen was fully equipped for those budding masterchefs among us! The cottage garden is naturally beautiful and 'other wordly'! Views of a natural hilly landscape out the front. Birdsong aplenty! We loved it so much! Location is perfect for exploring the gorgeous charms of mid-Wales. We didn't eat out but were aware of several pubs and cafes in the town (a 5 min drive or 20 minute riverside walk). A Premier supermarket in the town helped to top up our larder and we recommend local bakery and fresh produce. Look out for the stunning Red Kite sculpture in the town! Wows all round for this holiday stay!

We stayed in Bronfelin - a charming comfy 3 bed country cottage in a pretty location of great mountain views. An ideal spot for exploring far and wide from Elan Valley (just 30 mins away) to Snowdonia (2.5 hours away) as well as local wow factor views such as the winding Devil's Staircase and Llyn Brianne reservoir!
At Bronfelin that we got to know the range cooker which was amazing and so easy to use! We were baking tasty bread in no time!!
The main bed was comfy with luxurious white bedding. Fab!!! We loved the 2 bathrooms - one each! :-)
Everything that you could possibly need was there at the cottage! Our hosts had thought of everything!!
We would return in a heartbeat! It was a peaceful location, close to the smallest town in Great Britain, Llanwrtyd Wells for grocery emergencies and pub grub. It was the perfect peaceful hideaway location!

Loved the views across the valley. Appreciated the log burner. We found the cottage spacious, comfortable and well-equipped.

V warm and comfy. Well insulated with double glazing and good central heating as well as a well functioning wood burner (logs provided). Comfortable sofas, and nice to watch iplayer or Netflix (no terrestrial or phone signal). Extremely clean. Well appointed with dish washer and washing machine etc. Nice views from the small windows, on a nice quiet road. Great range of OS maps and laminated local walks printed out - v useful. Eco friendly detergents etc supplied. Good size for us 2 travellers. Check out the sweet and friendly little vintage clothes shop in the town.
We really enjoyed staying in the cottage but thought it could have had a few little extra touches to soften it and make it even more friendly and characterful inside - eg maybe a pretty wool blanket, or nice pretty cushions to match the curtains, on the sofa. Or other little personal or special touches eg special smelly soaps, or a little welcome gift (milk/biscuits/flowers from garden etc) would’ve just made it even nicer when you arrive and elevate it slightly. Windows are quite small, although the view from the downstairs one is lovely, and in summer I imagine you’ll just be outside exploring the landscape or have the stable doors open! The shower wasn’t the strongest but was fine. Some valances for the single beds might be nice. All in all v comfortable and we’d be happy to stay again, but some small things could make it feel even more special and characterful.

Inside clean and tidy. Every thing needed in the kitchen , plenty of wood for wood burner.
Garden was unkempt and needed attention, maybe a patio area. Mouldy tea bag wedged in door under stairs. Had to wash down garden steps and path of animal excrement and leaves so that our dogs could go outside.

The cottage is in the ideal position. A picturesque walk along the river into town and a good variety of scenic walks direct from the front door.

The frying pan with metal handle ought to be replaced. It is dangerous. The handle conducts heat. I burnt myself twice.
