Breakfast was excellent. A great variety of food. Very fresh. Too much for us to eat. The open fire was really homely. The barbecue worked well. The bed was comfortable. The shuffle service was perfect. There was plenty of wood for the fire. Roseanne was very helpful and hospitable.
The place lacked a full length mirror.

Fire was lit when we arrived about 7pm after an afternoon wedding in Kinglake. We were guided by torch light to Kookaburra Cottage. A basket of goodies included bacon, eggs, bread, butter, cereal, home made jam, honey from local bees and soy milk (upon request) Fluffy white towels, toiletries, DVDs and CD player. Many gorgeous trees and 2 dams provided a beautiful view from the windows.
Next morning hot air balloons outside the back door were spectacular.
Nothing to dislike.

The quaint cottage and the surrounding scenery were lovely, I enjoyed walking around the grounds - the fresh bread and locally made jam were amazing, and was such a warm welcome. I enjoyed the peacefulness of it all.
Unfortunately, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and after the second night, I woke up a little sore. While the cottage does provide a peaceful getaway, I do believe that for longer stays an option for wifi might be helpful.

We were travelling with family to an event at Yarra Glen. This accomodation allowed us to all be together but have the comfort of our own bedrooms and bathrooms. A great set up. Very close to Yarra Glen (all all surrounding attractions) by car.

Roseann was such a wonderful host. She even let us check in early! The personal touches such as homemade bread, jam and lots of other goodies was a lovely touch. A roaring wood heater when we arrived was much appreciated! A wonderful farm stay overall and so close to the venue where we had a function.

Roseann ensured we had plenty of everything needed for our stay. She went as far as going and getting the Kinky Boots DVD from her place as she thought we might like it. (side note we did)
Having booked a cottage online when arriving Roseann told me about another 1 of their cottages that would be more suitable for my group.
I had to leave. I couldn't stay forever lol

The host was absolutely lovely. She provided fresh, home-baked bread with home made jam, which our family loved. She also provided eggs for breakfast and a packet of Tim Tams, which are always a hit with the kids.

This is a great place to stay for local weddings.and winery visits. The back units are excellent, away from main road noise. The provided breakfast is terrific (cook your own) eggs, bacon, fresh home-made bread, local honey, home made jam, cereals juice and beverages
Large bathroom with double spa bath, huge shower and great water pressure.
The unit is spotless.
We've stayed here before and will do so again.
The surrounding area could do wih a clean up...but appears this is being worked on.
