Hotel staff were really polite and friendly, the hotel has an industrial feel and clever arrangement of rooms. With the bunk bed tucked up above the lounge accessible with a ladder was a hit with our kid. A plunge pool, rooftop bar and a bar at the bottom floor with restaurant. Really enjoyed the stay and fact it is well connected to downtown with a tram, and the trams were not too noisy at night. We could park on premises for 15euro.
There is no fan in bathroom so it fogs up a lot. We loved the bar on top floor, on second night of our stay we were turned back saying there is no room in entire bar even for one drink (though we were hotel guests). One of the reasons we booked JAM was the perk there is lovely rooftop bar in the hotel, so this was bit disappointing.

Probably the hottest I’ve ever tried to sleep! There was no air condition as it was being installed but no extra fans

The restaurant downstairs and rooftop bar seemed lovely and always busy with people! The pool is a nice touch although there was also construction work happening beside it - sawing wood right on the deck - which was not great to relax beside
My stay was super disappointing at the Jam hotel. I had booked this hotel for a relaxing stay for 4 nights and chose this hotel because of the pool and area to lay out on the rooftop.
When I arrived I realised there was construction work happening on the floor I was staying on - listed from 9am-3pm daily - (they are currently installing air conditioning - which is understandable!). I was given a fan for my room in the meantime which was appreciated. Disappointed that there was no fridge as I was staying for a few days and the view I had was of the external stairs which did not feel private at all.
On the first morning I was woken at 8.30am with construction noise as if they were in my room - it was that loud and my room was shaking - there was construction happening in the room beside me and above me on the rooftop (loud drilling and hammering noise).
When I went down to complain with a video of the noise and asked to move to a floor below this - they said there was nothing that could be done and that they had sent out communications with warning of this construction (I checked all communications from the hotel and booking.com and received nothing).
Later that evening I decided I would try rest before dinner as my morning was interrupted - I would up at 5pm to noise of drilling from the hallway outside my room - 2 hours after construction was supposed to stop. Again I went downstairs to let them know of this and they were not even aware that there was still construction happening.
The following 3 mornings I was woken up before 9am by construction noise including the last day where I was woken at 7.30am with drilling from the room beside me - I called reception and they seemed oblivious that work was even happening.
Throughout my stay while voicing my concerns and frustrations with this - I was offered no compensation, no token or gratuity for the inconvenience. I saved my hard earned money to stay central with a pool and was left disappointed.

Perfect location, modern concept, family rooms, rooftop bar and rooftop pool. A really good choice in Brussels.
The family room could be a little larger. With teenagers the space tends to shrink !

Nice location, good restaurant downstairs and in the area, modern and original interior design, friendly staff
Clogged sink, broken garbage bin, room with a view on a closed staircase, room not cleaned every day

the room is pretty nice and comfortable / stunning rooftop and rooftop bar at 7th floor with a hot pool aside / walking distance to the centre / the luggage room where you can stock you suitcases after the check out
sometimes there are queues at the breakfast stand. It would be good have more stands where you provide yourself with other food.
nothing more

Lots of nice restaurants and brunch places close by. The wooden purpose built furniture in room looked good and was practical.
There was work going on in the building which was not communicated well. The decking round the pool had all been taken up. The pool is just for lounging you cannot swim in it. Attention to detail was not great.
