Facilities were beautiful. Can't fault this place. Run by people who care.

So many different options for sitting outside and inside. The spa was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with home-made preserves and bread. Bed was fantastic in the Queen-sized room with private bathroom.

This is family run and its inside their home, which is lovely. But if you're after silence, book the private outside room where you can't hear everyday family life going on in the kitchen/dining. I enjoyed the homely feel, but romantic couples might prefer the solitude.

Beautiful, relaxing idealic setting

fabulous stay again, this time in the outside cabin, beautiful, and peaceful . Such lovely hosts, so welcoming their home is beautiful, such a lovey breakfast again ( minus my duck egg!!) The spa area is just a relaxing area and so peaceful before you retire to bed...

Our stay has been brilliant and we will definitely be back. Highly Recommend!

The cottage was very private and extremely comfortable. The garden surrounding the area was fantastic and aided in relaxation. Both of the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. They also have a friendly cat that made our stay even better with all the cuddles. Breakfast was served every morning which was a lovely touch. The facilities include a pool, spa pools and sauna. All very well presented. The area itself is well designed and decorated. Lots of plants and small decorative touches which make the area super relaxing and comfortable.

Delightful and can’t wait to go back

Delicious breakfast, beautiful gardens, lovely room, welcoming hosts, excellent location, friendly cats, gorgeous spa area and a freezing pool for a fun cold plunge between spa sessions. Can’t wait to go back.

Just an amazing experience, thanks to Marie and Serge !

I loved the surroundings, the lovely garden and all the little surprises like the quaint little cabin around the corner with the outdoor setting. The host & hostess were very welcoming with great senses of humour. We loved the breakfast and the hot tub. Just perfect ! My husband loved the home made jam.

A perfect place to relax

Very lovely couple who made our stay in their home very pleasant. Rooms were equipped with everything needed, the bathroom was big and new. Everything was decorated with detail and the garden perfect to relax in the sun. The highlight was the breakfast in the morning with selfmade bread and jam as well as their spa to relax in the evening. We truly felt like home!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit hervorragendem Frühstück und Wellness

Super leckeres Frühstück mit (unter anderem) selbst gemachtem Brot, Rührei und unterschiedliche Marmeladen aus Früchten aus dem eigenen Garten. Auch die Sauna und die Hot Tubs waren wunderbar. Gäste des B&B sind dort ab 20 Uhr unter sich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, alles in allem ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!

Lovely B&B in a special town with lovely hosts

Wonderful hosts and truly lovely cottage with access to spa including hot tubs, plenty of activities to do in the region and Takaka is a very unique town!

Wonderful stay!

Serge and Marie are fantastic hosts who were very welcoming. Their B & B feels like a home away from home. A wonderful breakfast is served daily with delicious home baked bread, cereals, fruit, eggs and chocolate! It was also lovely having the roaring fire in the lounge in the morning and a big highlight was a soak in the cedar hot tub at the end of the day😊 The guest rooms are thoughtfully laid out with tv, heating and tea and coffee set up. The bathroom was clean, modern with fluffy towels and bathrobes.

It was a wonderful stay with Serge and Marie. Their kindness made the stay very comfortable, the spa pool and sauna included made for a beautiful evening admiring the snow dusted mountains. A wonderful breakfast included in the price. Thank you for your wonderful services to us visitors!

The breakfast was an amazing, a continental feast & our friendly host cooked our scrambled eggs to perfection. We arrived a little late but still got to enjoy the sunset and a soak in hot tub and sauna. It was the perfect way to spend our last night in the South Island. We loved the Golden bay area with so much to do and explore. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this delightful find

I felt comfortable, relaxed, and inspired while staying here.

We received a warm welcome when checking in and a thorough tour of the accomodation and facilities. The room was intimate with comfortable and warm bedding and plenty of natural light. Bathrobes were provided which were nice to wear to the spa pools. The breakfast options were plentiful and it was really nice to be greeted and served by our hosts. We met some of the other patrons at the breakfast table and everyone was friendly and we enjoyed a relaxed conversation.

Enjoyed everything about our stay, it was good value for money, the breakfast was great and our hosts were really nice. plus got to meet other guests staying from overseas and chat with them over breakfast.
