Lovely, kind hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble.
The accommodation was spacious, private and very comfortable.
The excellent breakfast, which we enjoyed on the balcony with its panoramic view towards the Dordogne river.
We'd have happily stayed longer. The six days flew by! We hope we have an opportunity to return.

The beautiful peaceful countryside location, incredible views, close proximity to several beaux villages and other sites of interest. The accommodation was very comfortable and attractively stylish with high quality furnishings and linen, it was thoughtfully equipped and perfectly clean. We had a small private terrace with seating and a very nice (shared) sitting room / outside seating area and a well equipped kitchenette. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Our hosts were charmingly courteous, solicitous and yet unobtrusive. We stayed 4 nights and would happily stay again for longer.
Nothing at all.

The view over the terrace, where breakfast was served, was stunning. Lots to see in the surrounding area. We stayed for 7 days but would have liked to have stayed a lot longer.
All good

Wonderful chateau, location and hosts...Bruce and Anne were fabulous hosts!
There was nothing we did not like...it was great.

Excellent B and B, if a little tricky to find. Rooms were lovely, very well furnished with quality evident, bathrooms beautifully fitted and very well lit. Breakfast was traditional French, beautifully presented with fresh fruit, and outstanding (hot) croissants, and with the most stunning views over the Dordogne valley from their terrace. Hosts were excellent company, but never intrusive, full of helpful knowledge about the local countryside, culture and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if anywhere near this area, and highly recommended.

A little remote, it would have been perfect if it offered an evening meal

The breakfast was perfect and attention to detail of the wonderful hosts Bruce and Anna was amazing. They made our 2 day stay relaxing and incredible value for money. The view from the terrace was magnificent
The lovely house is really rather in the middle of nowhere - which is perfect for peace and tranquility but a slightly annoying drive to go out for dinner.

Exceptional Guesthouse, well positioned with friendly and helpful owners who have a wealth of knowledge of the area, it history and where and what to do. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley below with the Dordogne river and Chateau was a perfect way to start the day.
The breakfast itself was well prepared from fresh produce and I just loved the goats cheese and ham.
Nothing at all....except maybe having to leave!

The location is superb for exploring the region. The views across the countryside are breathtaking. The breakfasts are excellent quality on the balcony with the view across the Dordogne valley. Anne and Bruce are charming and attentive hosts who advised us where to eat and even booked a table for us. We had an amazing coupe of days there.
Not a single thing.

Our two night stay at the Manoir de Rieuzal felt too short-- Bruce and Anne were the best hosts, very amiable, knowledgeable and very helpful in offering us tips on where to go, where to eat. The beauty of the space is breathtaking, we will never forget our breakfast views from the terrace, the beauty of the house, the exquisitely furnished rooms, the idyllic setting surrounded the walnut trees and the drive... to this hidden jewel in what seemed like the most obscure village! We miss everything about it and around it. A very big thank you, Bruce and Anne, for making our stay such a beautiful and incredible one, for keeping us well fed at breakfast with warm croissants, freshly brewed coffee, jams, and the sweetest fruit-- we hope to see you both again!

We stayed two days for our wedding nights as the ceremony was near by. Anne & Bruce are amazing hosts and were very attentive to what we may need. They know the region better than the locals (at least more than my husband who is from the Lot 🙃). The gîte is located in a charming traditional “Lot” manor. The room is decorated with taste and makes you feel in another time while being modern. The breakfast is perfect (local products) with a great view (if you’re lucky to be there when it’s not raining). We will definitely come back... and we hope this time it will be sunny 😊
