I liked the peaceful surroundings, the extremely soft beds and the staff was superb. I forgot my powerbank and they were very cooperative, so i could pick it up the next weekend. They respond friendly and quick!
There were a lot of additional costs. I would have liked the bbq and hottub to be included in the price, but it wasn't that big of an additional cost so it was okay.

Nice location, nice people, chill and laid-back.
Unfortunately two of our group came home covered in bites that the doctor suspects were from bed bugs.
We came for a concert and found that our price was more than twice the regular price. That felt vastly overpriced (and in particular after we discovered the bites)

nice and quiet location
I will be honest, I had to stay there for a night since there was no hotels in the area. As a last resort I was kinda knowledgeable of what to expect but still it was a bit lower that my expectations. Besides the location, the facilities where a bit “dirty” and the room that I had to stay had no electricity. I didn’t bother for a night, also toilets are really something special! I didn’t dare to use them.
Again not a bad experience, but for 88€ a night I expected more.

What a place! I loved it at Helleborus. The tent experience is worth it in itself. The little commune has its special atmosphere. And I was lucky to be visited by a cat.

It felt as if they were really happy to have me from the moment I arrived. The cook Camilo came and introduced himself before Hannah took over and showed me around this beautiful and peaceful place. I slept wonderful and got to enjoy an amazing breakfast.
Thank you again Hannah and everybody else, it has been one of the best places I stayed in on my trip…

We booked a tent that to our surprise included beds and even Electric blankets, in case we got cold. The whole camp was absolutely lovely, even though it's in a village the campground itself at times feels miles away from any civilisation. The staff was lovely and the facilities were very well set up and taken care of especially for outdoor ones. The ambiance is lovely and you can see horses and cows from the edge of the camp. Over all it was a lovely experience

A place of tranquillity run with love and attention. Thank you. I will come again.

The hostess was warm and genuine.
The bathrooms are latrines that some punk kid stuffed with marshmallows. No heat. 1 plug for every 2 beds. So choose between charging electronics or a light. Lucky I had an outlet for 2 or my bedmate would not have been able to charge her phone. I had to give up charging my emergency backup!

Everything was created with a lot of love and colorful details. The Food was absolutely amazing. The Staff was very kind and keen on creating a nice place for relaxation. Gatherings at a nice Fireplace lead to amazing conversation and new friends. An awsome place for rest and adventure.
Please work on your communication skills when it comes to missunderstandings with the Guests. A respectful and open mindet conversation would have been nice.

i really liked the little village vibe of the place, me and my friends were really happy here and we met so many different people. Thanks so much👍🏼👍🏼
The heated blankets were not that warm but also we may have had the setting wrong. Will definitely consider coming back for summertime👍🏼👍🏼

We had the dinner which was great! We stayed around the campfire and met really interesting people. Everyone was respectful and it was a lot cleaner than I was expecting of a campground.
We were just a little cold.

Many thanks. I saw that you are beautiful people with values.
The breakfast may be a bit expensive?

There was a cat named Jip, a persian, I befriended him with a sausage a day. Keep your eyes on that cat though, or he'll steal your food right from under your nose. Best countermeasure is to loudly hit the table next to him with a kitchen towel.
The Campfire is a place I'll truly miss: meeting with people from all parts of the globe is an experience worth trying agian in the future. Don't talk about your marooned-ness though! you're a student that can't find a place! No seriously, as soon as you figure out you're a marooned and temporarily homeless guest instéad of a student, a mechanism called 'carmic bullying' will set in motion: and you'll listen to my recordings on Telegram Channel: 😃Telegram Reviewing group Ecocamping de Helleborus-a camping só intriguing, it now got its own Telegram Chatgroup...
Their amateurism has its advantages: they go to extraoirdinary lengths to keep the place cheap, including not having any form of heating in mid-winter. But their lack of social Hygene was disturbing.

Once I almost got kicked out because their wifi had seized up, a software expert detected a manual shutdown of my personal connection to the internet, while my smartphone could still maintain contact for some time.
I had to log into someone elses remote internet to reserve the week up to the point I got a new place.
Once I almost got kicked out because I was 'too entitled' for asking a small bandage for the infected I got in their kitchen (something the ARBO-Wet (labor circumstances law) says people who do labor in the owners' kitchen has to provide his emergency-kit with bandages and desinfectants to the sight of said infected wound.
- The final day of my being there got downright grim, with the male owner threatening to send Camillo after me if I didn't hurry this up, they were clearly having fun, but it did qualify as a disobedience to the penal code of justice which states that a threat of violence is an act of voilence. Upon telling him this, he simply tried to deny that he commited an act of of instrumental agression (the juridical qualification for threatening to use violence), indicating to me that this man didn't have any SVH Sociale Hygiëne under his belt. I sincerely doubt that they should be registered in the National Register for Social Hygene. https://www.svh.nl/Registers/Register-Sociale-Hygiene/
Although one or more owners probably has a subscription at Dennenoord Groningen.

The grounds, the people, the vibe, the food, the campfire, the showers, the beds, the cats
The dinner was too expensive and no drink or dessert included, you could add a light around the toilets, the noise from the highway

I did not have breakfast or dinner, but i really liked that there was free coffee and tea in the morning. The room was very nice, however on the site it looked like it would be inside, it was outside. It was not a problem for me, but just not what i expected. It was very nice that they had electronic sheets tho.
The only thing that was less nice was the fact that the showers outside didn't get warm. In summer that would've totally been fine, but now it was very cold because the floor was also freezing cold.

Warm people, calm place. Staff was very kind. Generally, it is a meeting point of travellers whole around the world.
It is a bit far from city center, more far away than half hour by bike.
I was there for end of september. I've felt a little bit cold.
However, we were gathering around the fire and it was good to have conversations around the fire.

the environment there is perfect for getting away and having a quiet place to escape to.
not completely off the grid and easy to get to by public transport.
very homey with great vibes!

the big kitchen was great, we could bring our own stuff. pre-communication with hosts was great. thanks a lot. nice and calm place. great that we could rent bikes for less money.
you definitely need a car if you want to see more than the city. we somehow did not feel welcome on site although everything was fine. it was a good experience but we don’t have to visit that place for a second time.
