Dépaysement assuré

Casteway est un des meilleurs spots instagramable de Koh Phangan. Une plage avec un banc de sable fantastique pour prendre de magnifiques photos, surtout au couché du soleil. Chambre parfaite. Prenez celles avec la clim, elles sont vraiment très bien. Et puis, l'accueil, la gentillesse. Le bar et le restaurant sont parfaits. Conseil, venir vers 17h00 pour un magnifique apéritif. Location de scooter possible.

Wunderschöner Bungalow direkt am Strand mit einer tollen Beach Bar gleich nebenan

Leider ist an dem Strand sehr starke Ebbe - das wussten wir aber und sind einfach an andere Strände gefahren zum Baden

Geweldig, echt even ontspannen en weg van alle drukte

Natuurlijk de prachtige plek, een eigen bungalow op het strand Het personeel was fantastisch en behulpzaam. Echte lieve mensen. Pen spreekt fantastisch Engels dus dat is prettig!

Alles was voor ons perfect, maar wees op de hoogte dat de zee in deze periode (wij waren hier in juli 2024) niet erg hoog staat, en er dus in feite geen mogelijkheid is om te zwemmen. Voor ons was dit geen probleem maar wel goed om rekening mee te houden als je boekt. Je kunt een scooter huren bij de receptie om het eiland verder te verkennen en andere strandjes te bezoeken. De airco maakte ‘s morgens erg veel geluid, waardoor we een paar keer wakker zijn geworden, misschien kan dit opgelost worden (?)

Lage ist top, Frühstück sehr gut, aber im Vergleich etwas teurer als die Umgebung.

Best Bungalow Ever

Wow! Staff are amazing, if room is ready will give you key before check in. Pristine location and views. Didn't want to leave. Rented a scooter right at reception. Keys to room and scooter rental handed all at once. This place sells out for a reason.

Mehr Beachfront geht nicht…

Sehr schöne Hütten direkt am Strand; außergewohnlicher Blick auf die Sandbank und das Meer. Extrem freundliches Personal.

Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass baden an diesem Strandanschnitt nicht möglich ist.

Traumurlaub im Paradis

Die tolle Bungalowanlage direkt am wunderschönen Sandstrand mit vorgelagerter Sandbank Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal Massage und Strandbar sehr zu empfehlen

Leider konnte ich nur 2 Nächte bleiben, ich wäre gerne länger geblieben, aber es war nichts frei

Wunderschöne Lage und Aussicht von den Strand Bungalows! Perfekter Platz für den Sonnenuntergang. Liebevoll eingerichter Bungalow mit viel Aufmerksamkeit fürs Detail. Super sauber und nettes Personal! schöne, gemütlich eingerichtete Bar. Toller schneller Service. nettes Personal.

Preis Leistung stimmte nicht. Unterkunft sehr teuer. Essen und Trinken auch teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Bars gleich in der Nähe.

Ruhe und Entspannung pur!

Schönes Bungalow, sehr entspanntes Ambiente, ideal zum Entspannen, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal.

Im Meer war die meiste Zeit Ebbe, es eignet sich überhaupt nicht zum Schwimmen. Da kann aber die Unterkunft nichts dafür 😀

Castaway heaven. Charming with a chilled vibe.

We stayed in the basic bungalow and it was exactly as it should be. Relaxing in a hammock looking out to sea. Surrounded by palm trees. Perfect. The owner Martin is a bit of a dude. He runs a tight ship in a very easy going manner. The only bad part was leaving. We were soooo sad we hadn’t booked for longer. We had a massage on the beach and watched crabs scuttle across the sand at night. Oh, and the food was fabulous.

The stay was incredible and the hosts were nothing but amazing! They made us feel right at home and gave us plenty of tips on where to go throughout the island. Owner even let me borrow a machete to open a coconut that fell from a tree.

From the moment we arrived, staff were very friendly! Location is lovely. Very pretty bungalows and views. Food is great. Very clean. On our last day, we were stranded as the boat to koh Tao was full but the owner and staff went above and beyond to help us and offered us another bungalow for the night. Would highly recommend this place. Great value for money.

Paradise

Amazing location! Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The bungalows are gorgeous and incredible value for money. The perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset from the comfort of your hammock.

A little harder to get around if you don't hire a bike, but there are plenty of things within walking distance and the staff are great with arranging taxis so it's not necessarily a negative and didn't impact my stay! Just something to be aware of.

A Crazy little Dream World !!! not more than two nights because is a little dream world at the beach. be careful there a Sounds you dont know. But this is the nature not the hotel !!!! Very very very cool trip . We stayed there with pleause. Clear, cool, little houses with bathroom directly at beach!!! Nice bar and cool Stuff!!!

nothing …. its on main road and its noisy not tranquil like they makes it sound they put banned DDT as anti mosquito and tell u they put some organic repellent

Was a lovely stay for a few nights. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and really took the time for you. a little bit of paradise waking up on the beach every day!

Not a con but need to moped to get around really, as it’s a quieter part of the island. There is a 7/11 and a few restaurants around still within walking distance 😊

Soul well rested

Absolutely unreal place. Quiet and calm beach. Water is not deep so its not for swimming, but the VIEW makes up for it 100% as theres plenty of places to swim nearby. Very happy and lovely staff which made the stay even better. Great breakfast. Hard to imagine a better place to stay in Koh Phangan. Massive thanks and we will be back.

Disappointing

-friendly owner + staff -great view and sunset and huts look very nice and tropical -great breakfast + coffee -room was clean

We booked the double room with sea view for 3 nights, but unfortunately decided to leave after the first night. -bamboo hut was too hot for us even with fan and open windows. We didn't sleep at all. -we found the room too small for two people and two big backpacks. we couldn't really unpack as there was limited space. -traffic noise as it is close to the road, especially as we had to have windows open due to heat. -only could swim in early morning because of the low tide

Perfect stay to relax a few days.

It’s like paradise. The Bungalows are very comfortable and clean provided with everything you need. In the evening you can watch the beautiful sunset from the little balcony or the bar. The staff makes the stay even more perfect. We were a bit sad to continue traveling as they were incredibly nice and made us feel very welcome.

Chill out in cozy beach bungalows

Amazing serenity waking up directly at the beach in the mornings. Cozy little bungalow with everything you need. Very helpful and friendly staff. We felt in good hands. Very beautiful sunsets with a sandbank to walk onto.

The bed was very hard. The water was nice to look at, but not to swim. It was very shallow and quite some jellyfish.

Simple bungalow with stunning view

beachfront bungalow was very clean, there are nice palm trees around, it's relatively quiet during the day, stunning sunsets, clean beach

the bungalow is bit small - but ok for a couple of nights (they also have bigger with AC), the beach itself is too shallow for swimming and it was full of jellyfish (February) - nothing to do with the property though

The owner and the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly 😍 they offer only breakfast, but there are plenty of nice restaurants in a few minutes walk. Our favourite was Mama Kop just next "door" . The beach at Castaway not so swimmable but the location and the view makes up for it in a big time. The huts are lovely, well taken care of. It's the perfect place to chill and recharge. We loved it 😍 thanks a lot for everything 🤩
