Loved the location, not so much the stairs

The lock box would not open. On contacting the owner which luckily, I had their phone number they were not happy and insisted that I was not putting the code in properly. After much discussion the owner sent her husband over with a spare set of keys. the lock box was jammed as 2 sets of keys were placed in the box instead of only one. It was very frustrating as it was 9.30pm and dark.

STAIRS, it would have been nice to have been warned about the stairs to get to the apartment especially for older people who are travelling with large suitcases

Gorgeous views and a home-like apartment where you can really relax.

The place is cozy, clean, and has breathtaking views. The location is peaceful and away from the tourist crowds.

The walk up the stairs to get “home” was ok for us, but if you’re not in shape for one reason or another, it is hefty work especially when it’s hot.

Location in a beautiful neighborhood

The location of the apartment is in a beautiful neighborhood. The apartment itself is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is well-equipped and modern. Extra towels are available (even for the beach). We worked there so the two desks are very helpful and the wifi is excellent.

Entering the apartment was problematic since the previous tenants did not put the key into the check-in locker but into the mailbox. There was no backup plan, so Ana had to drive to the apartment (90min waiting time). Luckily, we were able to get the key out of the mailbox with a branch before she had arrived. On arrival, we expected an apology for the inconvenience but never got one. It is not our problem that previous tenants do not stick to the agreement. I think this process can be improved (e.g. the cleaning staff could check if the key is where it should be). Also, the kitchen needs some maintenance (loose handles) and has small ants on the counter.

Excellent stay!

I loved the view from the apartment. Lots of stairs but i was aware of that when I booked. I loved the location as it was not far from the city center but in a quieter spot.

Perfect place to stay during your visit to Dubrovnik!

- great location - 15 min walk to the old city of Dubrovnik - apartment fully equipped, including oven, microwave, espresso machine (2 types!), washing machine - instant communication with host via WhatsApp - availability to park for free on the street (it is super narrow, but there were always some free spots) - shop with local products 2 min walk from the apartment - perfect for preparing breakfast - THE VIEW!

Would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Dubrovnik

Hosts were great, the check in was easy and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. Great view of the sea and old town!

There’s a lot of steps if you’re unfit but wasn’t an issue for us.

Great! Would have liked to have stayed longer.

The apartment has an amazing view of the Adriatic Sea! It’s clean and the host was very helpful, as we had to move due to an injury of a family member.

Great quality for reasonable price

Location was just perfect, near to old town, near to bus stop, near to awesome beach, close to cave beach where you can just swim. Additionally we were able to find free parking spot 10 meters from our apartment, which is very hard in Dubrownik. Pema market with reasonable prices also was very close. Generally everything was extraordinary and we couldn’t imagine anything better for this price. Apartment was super clean with all equipment and we were able to check in much earlier then expected.

Beautiful apartment, great location and very clean!

Great location, about 15 minute walk to the old town. Beautiful view of the harbor and Lokum island. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Neighborhood felt safe and was easy to get to by taxi from old town in a few minutes.

We got lucky with parking right near the apartment, but it could have been a challenge. Arriving mid-day definitely helped as commuters were away from home. Steep streets made walking back home a challenge (we took a taxi). Shower was a bit challenging (small and very high step up).

Superb apartment

This is a superb new apartment with stunning views on great location - both Old Town and three different beaches are located in close proximity. Apartment is equipped with everything you need for daily life. The beds are super-comfy and the apartment was super clean. Based on what others said about the stairs, I was a bit afraid it would be too much walking up the hill, but I was pleasantly surprised that although there are quite a few stairs from the beach to the apartment, we could easily reach the apartment by foot. Also, if you don't like crowded beaches, there is a very nice quiet rocky beach straight below the apartment.
