The location is very good located, so it’s only a few minutes walk to the beach or to some restaurants/shops.
The Hotel as a shared kitchen, which is good equipped.
The room looks like on the pictures and the bed was super comfortable and u get fresh towels every two days.
Paulo, the host is super friendly and open for questions and helps u anytime. Thanks!
Also the check in and out was very flexible.
The furniture in the bathroom is a little old but it’s still ok.

As soon as we arrived, we had a smooth check in and our room was ready, with a comfortable bed and linen. I had a great night's sleep.
The communal kitchen has everything you need and we had nice meals and enjoyed the sunshine in the terrace.
The sympathy of the owner made our stay even better. He is attentive to all details, communicative and nice . We will definitely comeback. Location is great too, close to the beach and there are a few supermarkets nearby.

The place is a family hotel and is an almost perfect blend of a hotel (e.g. rooms are cleaned every day) and an airbnb (there is a kitchen one can use to cook meals). The owner is very friendly, helpful and always around. There is also a terrace in common use on the ground floor, which gets sunlight in the afternoon, with some tables and chairs. 24/7 coffee machine access is a great feature, too!
Our room had a great bed, very comfortable. The balcony faces a street, but it wasn't noisy at all. The shower is nice and has good water pressure.
The beach is just about 5 minutes away, as is the main street of Furadouro with the supermarket, pharmacy, and so on.
The shower drain started to get a bit slow towards the end of our stay – this is probably the only real negative thing I can think of. It would have been good to have a bit more kitchen utensils, but it seemed that most guests didn't try to cook extensively, and we were an exception :)

The price was very affordable which is the main benefit of this hotel. The kitchen was cleaned every day and well equipped. The beaches nearby are beautiful and there is a great bakery round the corner.
The beds were very uncomfortable. The walls were very thin and the halls echoed so you could hear every other guest quite loudly. The whole place looks very tired, stains on the walls and curtains. Although it was cleaned every day, the whole place smelled very very strongly of bleach which was quite unpleasant. There was no breakfast provided (myself and other guests had understood there was, perhaps our mistake!). Furadouro itself is a sweet town, but unless you are surfing I wouldn’t spend more than 4 days here.

Booked the stay the same day for a great price and the room was spacious, loads of hot water and best of all, the shower had a lot of pressure (low water pressure,a gripe of mine with a lot of places). Would definitely recommend it.
There was a slight smell of damp in the entrance hall but it didn't bother us as we know it was probably just from being shut over winter.

A quiet place to stay if you’re passing through. Beautiful beach walk with various places to have a drink and soak up the sun. Easy check-in process. Nice kitchen area if you plan to dine in. Highly recommend 😊

The host was lovely and welcoming. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, local restaurants etc.
The room had a major mould problem, it was humid, smelled musky and felt cold and uncomfortable. I was told there was a company coming to resolve the mould issue, but in the mean time I don't think the room should have been rented out. The shower had a drainage problem (waterfall style showerhead poured out more water than the tiny drain could evacuate so it quickly filled the shower and overflowed into the bathroom, in the space of less than 5 minutes). I was cold (it would be nice to make some extra blankets available, I only stayed for one night, otherwise I would have asked for one).
It was just a one night stay on my way from south to north so it did the job, but not a particularly pleasurable stay due to the level of humidity/presence of mould on the walls.

Fantastic host, Paulo.
Perfect quietly location and really nice with the possibility to sit outside.
Perfect with access to kitchen (incl. refrigerator / freezer) and absolutely not to forget: The best coffee, ever :-)
Tip: Top bakery right around the corner! -The bread was of souch good quality, that we bought it back to home to Denmark.
Small things need maintenance (eg light on the staircase), the terrace needs to be "freshened up", a larger pan in the kitchen. -But it is small things and suggestions to improve.

The room had a bad smell probably due to the humidity.
Stained sheets and there was no receptionist to welcome us...

Moist in the walls and chemical smell in the room.
No sufficient cleaning materiels in the kitchen.

clean , quiet location, close to centre of town and beach
No lift , so lifting suitcases to 2nd floor was hard work.

The price is definitely right for this place. The shower was good (strong water and a drain that worked) and the bed was pretty comfortable.
The person we dealt (Luis) was very helpful and accommodating! We were able to check-in remotely which we really appreciated.
But the room is small, the wifi is spotty (at best) and very slow and the breakfast was really sad (we got to the kitchen room at 8:30 and there was no meat left; they had run out of granola type cereal; there was only sad white bread for toast).

Location was spot on and staff friendly
Mattress was very soft, not ideal for people with back pain
The smell of mould during the night in the building and in the room was substantial
Mould very visible in the bathroom

The location is really good and quiet. There is a share kitchen where you can spend time having something or playing games.
if I had to say something negative, I’d say the bathroom isn’t that big.
6.0
it was close to the beach
it was impossible to take a shower without getting the floor all wet because the water would come out from the old bathroom door. When I arrived I barely had any toilet paper I had to ask for more. I stayed a total of 10 days and on the last two days they decided they wanted to make my bed and finally give me one new towel.

Location was very good, a few blocks from beach, cafes and restaurants. The room was bright and fresh, bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was basic but nice and fresh.
It was a bit difficult to locate the main entrance as there was no signage from the street, the building looked old and rundown, the entry stairwell was dark and not overly inviting. My small balcony only had 2 rusty chairs and the roller shutter was faulty, but had a nice park view. I was on the 2nd floor and there was hardly any water pressure in the shower which was disappointing. The rear terrace from the dining area was separated from the car park with a wooden fence and appeared to be shared with a ground floor guestroom. there was also an old rusty sofa bed on one side which really didn't need to be there.
