Very nice home, great location, short walk to beach. One thing that was a little frustrating was the water pressure in the master shower was very low. We also changed the air filter because the thermostat was saying “filter”. We looked at it and it was so clogged and nasty. We ended up grabbing a new filter at Ace hardware and changing it.

Our family of four had a blast on our beach trip! The welcome bucket was a beautiful touch and correspondence with the property contact was great for tips on local things to do (such as visit the Point for seashell hunting). The place was very clean, and we appreciated having a pack and play and high chair provided as it made our packing a little more convenient! Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed this property with our children and grandchildren. There was so much to do for the two three year olds each morning and evening before and after our beach trips. Playground, ping pong, badminton, super long driveway where they rode bikes. We rode the adult bikes, played cornhole, grilled out, etc. we also took our fishing poles and went fishing one evening. It was just great! Clean, cozy, everything we needed and wanted for a quick long weekend getaway. Will definitely be back!

We loved this property so much that if the owner ever wanted to sell we would buy it! Coral Cay, is in the perfect location, clean and very comfortable. I loved the little beach and shovel basket with a bottle of wine and popcorn with a beautiful hand written note welcoming us. The manager of the property was so accommodating and the owner was so a pleasure to speak with.

First time visit to Emerald Isle and the Crystal Coast. The house was the perfect location for beach access. Easy communication and cleanliness was outstanding. Our daughter enjoyed the pirate ship playground along with the access trail to the beach behind the house. Would definitely return to Coral Cay again.

Location was convenient to local activities and restaurants. Bathroom in master bedroom was extremely small. The shower was nearly unusable. My husband was unable to use the shower because the shower head blocked his access. There isn’t enough room to turn around or bend down in the shower. People above 5’7 or those of heavier stature may not be able to use the shower. Also in order to close the bathroom door you have to walk to the sink then turn around and close the door. The house is well furnished.

We had a great stay at Coral Cay. The host thought of everything for our stay- sand toys, chairs, wagon, umbrellas, lawn games, bikes, and the best part for the kids was the pirate play set! It was definitely a vacation to remember!

The location and house was just absolutely perfect. The house was so clean and accurate to the pictures advertised. We had lovely walks with the children to the beach even though it was chilly. The children also enjoyed the pirate play-set. We were so busy building Lego, puzzles and playing board games we barely used the internet. It was our best Christmas yet!

Had an awesome time with our family of 5. All kids are under 5 and loved the pirate ship playground at the house. We enjoyed the quiet beach which was just a short walk away. Plenty to do near by for kids and adults. Had a great time at the aquarium too!

Our stay was perfect. We traveled as a three generation family. My children loved the pirate ship and all the on site fun that was provided. My mother, who uses a wheelchair, had no problem navigating the house. The house was clean and cozy. Our best nights were the ones where we stayed in and cooked/socialize in the open kitchen/living room. The caretakers texted during the week to make sure everything was going great. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach! Highly recommend Coral Cay!

This house was the perfect match for my little family. My 2 year old daughter loved playing on the pirate ship in the front yard. It was nice not having to go up and down stairs and the fact that the home is set back from the road. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was closer than I thought it would be, and the provided beach wagon made hauling all our stuff there easy.

We love the Crystal Coast and this location was outstanding! Right on the main highway, it was close to everything we do. The home was clean and had plenty of room for us all. The kids (and adults) really loved the play room. The walk to the beach was adventurous and fun! This rental was just as advertised and we recommend this home to everyone who loves Emerald Isle and the Crystal Coast!

This house has everything needed. The master bathroom is small but the bathroom in the hall is regular sized. The walk to the beach is easy and about a block and a half away. We had fun riding bikes, playing ping pong and walking the beach. We hope to be back.

This ended up being a real win win for us!!! Our oldest son is a paraplegic and the house worked PERFECTLY for his needs using the larger bathroom! He was able to easily access the garage and the backyard area. We were able to determine the handicap beach access not far away. And the amazing fire dept at Emerald Isle offers beach capable wheelchairs at no cost which gives paraplegics some freedom on the beach!

We loved our stay in this sweet home! From the cute pink seahorse mailbox (made it easy to spot when returning from our adventures) to the comfortable and well-equipped interior AND exterior, this gem provided just the right home base for our stay. Loved the open living room and kitchen, the covered deck with comfortable seating, and the garage with its playroom vibe. The walk to the beach was relatively short and easy, but do make sure you're wearing good shoes to protect yourself from the local ground vegetation. A courtesy heads up to anyone of tall stature or less than slim build the master bathroom is a bit small, but the other bathroom is quite roomy so you can just make that work if needed. Extra touches that stood out: great AC, comfy couch, easy walk to the beach, bikes and pingpong table, patio seating, curated host binder with recommendations and helpful info.

My daughters and I stayed a Coral Cay for a weekend girls trip. The house was very clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Everything felt new and well cared for. We didn’t cook, but kitchen was well equipped. Just a short walk to the beautiful wide beach. Already talking about a return trip.

Adorable house and the location was perfect. Close walking distance to beach and we brought paddle boards and launched them at the public boat ramp down the road. The bikes were nice addition as we brought two and our daughters were able to ride with us as well. A couple things to note is the master bathroom is the tiniest I’ve ever seen. My 6’2” husband was challenged using such tight-knit space. The other thing is the lawn is covered in those little spike balls that hitchhike onto everything and easily poke fingers and feet. I did step on quite a few I had to pull out of the carpet in the master bedroom. Beware being barefoot and with little kids. Regardless, we definitely thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the kitchen was nice and spread out for us to cook our Thanksgiving dinner with ease.

This property was big enough and nice enough. Only a couple of things that seemed a little off. The keurig coffee maker still had water in it. The dishwasher was not unloaded. There was grease all over the stove and the kitchen cabinets had a little grime and grease on them, maybe food splashed on them. There was hair on the stove and floor and counter. Just small things that can be improved as far as cleaning goes. Over all, good place to rent.
