Our second time at this property. It never disappoints and the host is the best! This is our 2-Go spot in Exuma for now on. Can’t say enough great things about the property and the host.

Some friends of ours had stayed at Seabiscuit the year prior and recommended it to us as an “off the beaten path” place to stay on the island. Were the type of family that is active and enjoys all things water sports, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling etc. Fina’s place has it all, right in your backyard. We felt as if we discovered a very small percentage of the island as we beach hopped some and went over to Stocking Island to the Chat & Chill (highly recommended) but we Wilmer didn’t have to leave the house. We’re a family of four with a 9yr old and a teenager but found the small cottage super comfortable and tons of “living space” to have some alone time if need be. Fina was very responsive and helpful throughout the duration of our stay. The property and views are breathtakingly beautiful with countless options for those who love to fish, snorkel, kayak, swim or just sit and relax on a dock and dive into a book. We will definitely be back!

This is a cute little cottage with an absolutely gorgeous view & access to shallow water 2-4 feet when tides out! Owner has snorkel equipment, kayaks, floats and other supplies for enjoying the water! It’s a bit of an inconvenience to run to the grocery so bring your own food. Kitchen is fairly stocked w most things needed to prepare food. We loved the dock, especially at night when star gazing was great! The visiting dogs are a fun addition! Host is very attentive.

This was our second visit to Seabiscuit. We didn't think it could get any better, but this time we met the owner, Fina, who is so welcoming, kind and a gem of a host!! We spent lots of time at the cottage swimming, enjoying the covered porch, laying in the hammock and sunbathing on the sundeck. The sunsets are some of the most beautiful we have ever seen!! The cottage is perfect for us providing everything we need, and more, to make our vacation comfortable and special!! We have our third stay already planned. Thank you again Fina, for sharing your slice of paradise with us!!

What a beautiful piece of paradise.
Fina was very responsive to any questions or issues we had.
House was clean and well stocked.
Air conditioning worked very well.
Loved having a washer and dryer.
The view from the Large dock is MAGICAL!
Fina surprised us and had a Pool set up on the dock for my kids ( 2 and 4 yr old) which they loved!! Ty for that Fina!
We had fun w the kayaks and paddleboards.
No seeums were a pain per usual but that was expected. Lots of little critters but such is island life.
There was construction happening next door but we were gone exploring for most of our stay so it wasn't a huge deal for us.
We would definitely stay again!
Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us.

Excellent stay. It really is a special spot, Fina. Every time I looked out the deck towards the water…peaceful. Having access to the waterfront was really great. Kayaking, swimming, fishing right out the door Loved the deck.
House had everything we needed and more. Lots of extras. Could be more glasses and bowls. But we had enough. Can’t wait visit again.

Our family had an amazing experience at sea biscuit cottage. Everything is exactly as it says it is and more. The view from the cottage and dock is beautiful. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling equipment to use or you can simply walk out to the sand bar if you wish.
Highly recommend.
Fina is an excellent host.

Overall we really enjoyed our first visit to Exuma. The property has some things that have been neglected and its not as fully equipped as other places we've stayed at but its super cute, clean and the dock is just as amazing as it looks in photos. My favorite part of the day was watching the sunrise with coffee from the end of the dock. We saw sea turtles, a stingray, starfish and tons of little fish right from the dock. We kayaked out to the sandbar at low tide. Water is so clear and perfect temp for taking a dip at high tide. We loved the daily visits from the pups across the road. The roads are certainly rough getting to the property. We had a jeep so it was manageable but by the end of the trip using those roads twice a day to go anywhere was getting annoying. The bugs are also no joke. Thankfully we had breezy days most of our trip, which kept them at bay, but those couple calm mornings brought out the biting bugs so make sure you have long sleeves/pants and bug spray or baby oil. All in all the water, weather, beaches, and views were perfection and Fina's place is such a cute little slice of this island's paradise.

Fina was a wonderful host and loved on our kids and family. The sea biscuit lodge is great and right on the water. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and perfect location. The road in is bumpy which is normal in Exuma but very different from what we’re used to from Toronto. Just take it slow and it’s all good.
We swam with sharks, rented a boat in the harbour (which was so fun) went diving and also hung out with the puppies. Thanks again for a wonderful time Fina!

Fina was an extremely helpful, friendly host. The house over all was clean and had a very home like feel. We loved this cozy beach house on the water. The back yard was amazing too. It had a beautiful deck and had beautiful plants surrounding it. We had some friendly pups come see us in the mornings, Fina’s dogs are lovely and we are so happy we got to meet them. We really enjoyed the Sea Biscuit and we will be coming back again!

Seabiscuit is the most perfect little slice of paradise. This adorable cottage had everything we needed and wanted for our stay. I'm already trying to plan a return visit! Communication with Fina was easy and she provided so many helpful notes on the places to go while on Exuma.

Seabiscuit was everything I had wished for and more! This beautiful cottage has everything you could want for an awesome vacation. The amenities are far beyond what I have experienced here in Exuma. We didn't get to meet the host, however her cohosts were outstanding providing assistance, information and anything we needed to know. The cottage inside is loaded with towels, linens, dish cloths, blankets, soaps and a few more extras were not used to being provided at a rental house which was a huge bonus. Also, inside is just wonderfully set up to make your stay perfectly comfortable. The air conditioner worked flawlessly along with the electricity that has a back up generator. The couch and chairs and bed were all very comfortable. The shower was nice and had plenty of hot water. We didn't need the upstairs; that also was adorable and perfect. We used the covered porch daily. It had nice plush furniture, fans which were priceless with the heat, and an gorgeous view. There is also a hammock for use! We barbequed dinners too. The sundeck and dock were big extras to play around on, watch the sunrise and sunset, stargaze or watch marine life swimming by. There is also a plethora of water toys. The washer and dryer worked flawlessly as well. If you are looking for a tranquil, beyond beautiful and peaceful get away, you have found it! The local people in Exuma are friendly and kind and after lots of Caribbean vacations, I have finally found my heaven on earth!! Thank you Seabiscuit!

Lovely location with a beautiful view of a sandbar. Forget BBQ dinners as BBQ is rusted beyond use. Be prepared for power outages as we experienced 5 over out 12 day stay. Make sure you bring a flashlight as the cottage only provided two candles. Wifi is intermittent. Oven does not work and one burner of stove does not light automatically. Be prepared for no water when workers at adjacent homes power wash. Low water pressure and flow in general. Patio doors could not be left open because sliding screen was broken. Other door was taped shut. Be careful using outdoor shower as wooden board is loose with screws protruding. Use caution entering ocean from dock as rocks are sharp and wooden ramp is at precarious angle. Despite all of these issues we enjoyed our stay.

Seabiscuit is as advertised. Great cottage for a couple or family with kids.
Fina is a great hostess. Responds immediately to questions and requests.
The pier over the water is wonderful. We spent lots of time there reading and enjoying the views. We saw turtles, stingrays and one shark swim by the pier.
The water behind the cottage is shallow. At low tide you can wade or kayak across to the HUGE sandbar. we did both. Other people in houses nearby walked on across the sandbar to Mosquito Cay (maybe a mile) It is said to have a nice beach on the other side. The sandbar itself looks better from the pier than it does up close. It is underwater enough of the day that some sea grass goes on it and it is pot holed not smooth sand. Still it is a wonderful thing to say you did.
A few things to be aware of…
The cottage is in a failed housing edition. Houses along the ocean are wonderful but the roads to get to them from Queen’s Highway are not maintained and are maybe worse than we’ve experienced on any Bahamas island. Rent a Jeep not a Honda Fit like we did. You will have sections where you are almost rock crawling.
Power outages are real. The cottage doesn’t have a generator so if it happens during the night, you’re gonna get warm inside.
Another house is being built next door. The noise of the workers reduced some of the tranquility Seabiscuit inspires.
We enjoyed our stay and the water and beaches on Exuma are some of the best you will ever see.

My family had such a great time at Seabiscuit! Saw sea turtles and a small shark from the deck. Made friends with a huge land crab living beside the deck. He enjoyed the banana slices we tossed to him. Fina was quick to respond with any questions we had.

This cottage is off the “beaten” path. It’s a beautiful and peaceful oasis. The road is very Rocky, but our small rental car made it up and over and thru the wooded area many tunes without a problem. We did think we were lost a few times, but we Became quick locals. You’ll need to ask for the hidden laundry room key, but the laundry room has all the snorkel gear you need for an awesome snorkel ride near the beautiful long and private pier. Breathtaking views. No sand, but beautiful rocky cliffs. I would definitely stay again and rent a jeep for the excursion.

This is the second time we have stayed at Seabiscuit and we will come back for a third visit. The house was perfect for 5 people. Cooked most meals at the house. Love the dock, morning coffee, jumping off the dock at high tide, evening sunsets. Enjoyed doggie visits. Laying in the hammock was a high light!

We had an amazing stay. The property if possible is even more beautiful in person than the pictures. The home was very clean and had every and anything you could think of needing. The host has thought of every single activity thing you might need. Our most favorite thing to do was kayak out to the sand bar durning low tide and see how far we could walk across it. My son and husband did this every single evening. My daughters and myself enjoyed sitting on the amazing dock and watching our cute little fish friends. We all got a huge surprise on our last night by a visiting lemon shark and were so excited! Our host also left two pages of all the things to do on the island and places to visit which was beyond helpful, we tried to do every single thing on there and it was all lovely. Just sad we missed eating at a few of the local eateries since they are closed durning random times. Food was a little tricky but once we figured it out it was not a problem and luckily we had a great kitchen to cook in. All in all it was a wonderful trip and perfect house for our family of 5. We hope to come back and see the neighbors new house someday. The builders got so much done while we were there and it will be beautiful. Thank you Fina for a once in a lifetime trip for our family.

Absolutely stunning! The view at this place was amazing. Close to town as well. Highly recommend this little getaway cottage. The dogs were an added bonus too! If looking for a super nice restaurant on the island “Blu” is only a 7 minute drive from here. Loved this place & couldn’t reccomend it more. Thanks Fina ☺️

Great little cottage in an awesome location!! Our favorite part was the huge dock to hang out on, lots of seating and 2 lounge chairs. We had access snorkel gear and kayaks to use, lots of beach towels and a cooler to take to one of the many amazing beaches in Exuma. The sunset views are the best!!
If your really adventurous take a walk out to the island, its one of the coolest things you will ever do. Odds are you will have the whole island to yourself, make sure to follow the footprints to right, which will take you to a little private cove that looks right out into the ocean. We had a great time at Seabiscuit, it had everything we needed. Fina was a great host and answered any questions we had. We will definitely return!

We loved our stay at Seabiscuit. We spent a few days just enjoying the property and others exploring the island. We always came back for sunset. So beautiful! The house is just as described and was perfect for my family of four. We kayaked to other islands, saw stingrays & turtles right from our dock. Fina was out of town for most of our trip, but was quick to answer any questions had. We were able to meet before we left and she was lovely! We plan to return in the future.
The only thing I would suggest (and not just for the property), is to rent a SUV. Roads are rough, and not just this road.

Josefina was incredibly helpful multiples times, including with finding a local car rental when the island otherwise appeared out of cars! The house is all we needed and the location spectacular. Bumpy roads in shouldn’t dissuade you. Highly recommend. Great fun!

Overall everything was very well described and as pictured. The villa has absolutely everything you need. Fina was very responsive to Qs over the app and greeted us in person when we arrived. The road is the only slight downside to the property, but take it slow in a regular hire car and it's absolutely fine. Otherwise its only a 15 min drive into Georgetown, or 15 min drive to Little Exuma (beautiful beaches). We are looking forward to returning soon! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The property was flawless. It was beautifully kept and very private. The views of the ocean and skyline were unreal. The outdoor accomaodations were plentiful. There were floats, Kayaks, decks and docks with sitting areas. When I return, I will be sure to stay here again. Fine was an amazing host. She made us feel very welcome and was attentive with communication and meeting our needs. I highly recommend this rental and location!
