Wundervoller Ort, Wahnsinns Küche, liebevolles Personal

Das Personal war unendlich hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und nett. Man hat uns in jeglichen Belangen unterstützt. Wir hatten hier den tollsten Aufenthalt bisher in SriLanka. Die Gebäude sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war immer sehr sauber. Die Küche und das Restaurant sind phänomenal. Der Küchenchef ist auf all unsere Wünsche eingangen und wir hatten jedes Mal unterschiedliche vegane Mahlzeiten. Auf dem Gelände befanden sich freilebende Pfaue, wir haben Affen und Ochsen gesehen und auf dem Weg dorthin sogar einen freilebenden Elefanten. Das Hotel befindet sich inmitten der Natur und man kommt fantastisch zur Ruhe. Es waren tolle 3 Tage, welche wir nur weiterempfehlen können.

Dusche war etwas unpraktisch, da Wasser rausspritzte. Privatpool der Villa etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

in terms of price and hotel I would choose another place. chose the hotel due to private pool which I did not use at all

A true gem with unique design & treatment

I loved the welcome and tretment for me as a female solo traveller - the manager Hemantha was very kind & prepared a villa closer to the reception. They also accomodated my driver for the night. I absolutely loved the design - water villas, the unique entrance over water, the magical restaurant with a view of the Sigiriya Rock and the pond, peakocks walking around the property. Special thanks to Heshara for making a special Sri Lanka breakfast - several courses, nicely designed and with unforgettable taste!

It was a bit challenging to find the location of the hotel, but the manager helped perfectly over the phone.

Could be and should be a fantastic place but everything is missing something.

Bedrooms are great

Run down common areas. Broken lights throughout the property. Pigeons resting above the dining area. Waiting staff disappear when you arrive. Murky swimming pool. No bar. No spa.

Nice location in the countryside around Sigiryia, surrounded by monkeys and peacocks.

Poor restauration for breakfast and dinner there without any local taste. Only processed food which is a nightmare. Indecent price compared to the service provided. We came there for a nice moment for NYE and finally went out.

Great Stay but better experience was expected

The property is great and so is the Pool. They set up a really nice dinner arrangement for us since we were the only guests on that day. Rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures and are very comfortable. Food is good too but hardly any variety.

The manager is a little too uptight. We were on our honeymoon and the entire property was empty for that night and when we requested for a room upgrade, they denied it which is surprising as hotels usually do that on their own if the rooms are empty. Also, His team confirmed that there was going to be accommodation for drivers. However when we reached there, the manager denied giving accommodation to our driver who then had to go really far to find accommodation which also led to us being stuck in the hotel all the time without any option to leave as the hotel is in a very remote place. We then called the owner of the place to give him feedback who confirmed that there was accommodation and yet the manager didn't provide it.

Brilliant and wonderful stay

We loved our stay at Seerock! Marni and all the staff were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The food was delicious, the room was great and the surroundings were beautiful. We would have loved to stay for longer and wish for more tourism to start again!

Exceptional Experience!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property is breathtaking, with a delightful lotus pond, free roaming peacocks, and a lovely pool. The room is large, well appointed and comfortable. The best part is the staff.. We were on our honeymoon and the staff did their utmost to make it special for us :) Vani in particular is super warm and helpful and the entire staff are sweet and accommodating of the guest's every need. It was a thoroughly wonderful stay, and we'll be back! Highly recommend this lovely hotel :)

Beautiful hotel near Sigiriya

The accomodations, the room and the personnel are all amazing.

Lunch in the restaurant is a bit pricy. Better book with half or full board if planning to eat there.

The pkCe is perfectly located near rhe sigiriya rock, amazing resort with such a friendly and kindest staff we ever met. The cheff is exceptional!! So the meals were an adventure by themselves. We really enjoyed our time there and hope you will too ;)

Fantastic!

The Hotel is amazing! We stayed three nights as the first stop of our Honeymoon :-) Clean and comfy rooms and a nice Pool! The service was really great, the whole team is so nice, friendly and courteous. They organised everything, so this was a perfect start in Sri Lanka and we could relax without planningproblems. Gavin organised a Jeep for us with a really nice and reliable driver who brought us everywhere and then he waited for us to bring us back to the hotel. We got bottles of water and juice when we went to the Pidurangala Rock and the other day to Lion's Rock. Excellent service! We had breakfast and dinner, every day it was very delicious and large portions! Very good food, Sri Lankan food as well as western menus. The whole stay was so wonderful! We would book this Hotel again!
