Overall nice hostel

Comfy beds, quiet dorm, could leave my bags before and after checkout

I wish they could have been kind and to let me check in even a little bit earlier. I arrived to Lyon after a long flight and had been awake for 37 hours. No elevator in the building. So if you have a heavy suitcase like I had, you'll have an opportunity to practise your zen mode

La bienveillance du staff qui sauve le séjour

L'hôtel dispose d'un très beau et cozy salon commun ou on peut discuter et travailler. De plus, les membres du personnel étaient très gentils et serviables. Partant avant l'heure du début du petit déjeuner (qui commence à 7h) dont j'avais pris l'option, grâce à la gentillesse d'un membre du staff, j'ai pu partir de l'hôtel en ayant mangé et bu quelque chose. Enfin, la bonne situation géographique avec la proximité du tram à environ 100m permet de vite se déplacer en transport en commun.

La chambre privative que j'ai eu pour une nuit était un peu décrépit. Entre les éclats sur la peinture à droite et à gauche de la pièce avecla grande fissure et le manque du support pour tenir le pommeau de douche, ça rendait la chambre pas très agréable. Ajoutons a cela un manque d'insonorisation. État dans une auberge de jeunesse, je m'attendais à du passage mais la nuit fut tout de même courte et peu réparatrice. Enfin, ayant pris l'option petit déjeuner, j'ai découvert sur place les horaires qui, malheureusement dans mon cas, ne correspondaient pas avec mon horaire de départ. Si l'information avait été renseignée, j'aurais pu mieux choisir.

Bof bof

C'est vraiment pas cher, dans un quartier sympa et accessible, et le bar en bas est agréable. Le personnel est accueillant et les sanitaires sont nickel.

Il a fallu dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes pour ne pas mourir de chaud (le chauffage était allumé en septembre 🤷‍♂️). Et entre les bruits de la rue (voitures, motos, cris des passants alcoolisés...) et les moustiques, la nuit a été désagréable.

Wir sind einfach weitergefahren und haben nochmals ein anderes Hotel gebucht, natürlich war das Hostel nicht stornierbar

Wir haben die Übernachtung verfallen lassen

Das Umfeld des Hostels ist sehr armselig, auf der Straße um den 30 Meter entfernten Sportplatz drücken sich Dealer und Kriminelle herum. Auf der Straße sieht man die Scherben der zerschlagenen Autoscheiben und ausgeraubten Autos herumliegen. Ein unglaublich ekelhafter Ort.

Disrespect to the guest

The common area is a well-decorated public bar.

The reception of the hostel is the bar counter. Since it is a public bar, which is also a common area of the hostel, homeless people can access the premises and sleep on the couches. The inside of the hostel is very dirty and poorly maintained. In my room, one of the guests brought a person from outside (not a guest) to have sex. The hostel staff did not serve me well, showed indifference and treated me with disrespect, confusing the language barrier with stupidity, not realizing that good communication goes far beyond spoken language. I ended up choosing to end my stay in the city at another establishment.

Mauvais séjour mais prix bas

Le personnel était agréable et serviable. Le prix était intéressant

On suffoquait dans la chambre . Le ventilateur était inefficace. Nuit abominable pour nous 2. La douche était directe dans la chambre sans mur de séparation, l'eau se retrouvait dans la chambre ! Je n'avais encore jamais vu cela! Le petit déjeuner était très mauvais. Je ne reviendrai pas !

Idéal pour Court séjour.

Bien placé, et calme. Mon escale à Lyon était pour me reposer. Il a était parfait. Le brunch du dimanche matin est original et délicieux,je vous recommande de le tester et penser à réserver. Première arrivée, Première servi :).

Bonne adresse un week-end à lyon

Très bon rapport qualité/prix, dortoir propre et bien équipé. Bon emplacement en centre ville.

Le petit déjeuner servi à 6h30 laissait à désirer : le café n’était pas bon, il a fallu insister pour avoir du thé et l’assortiment de viennoiseries sortait tout droit du frigo.

The area is not friendly at all, so if you are arriving late evening, be careful, lot's of unpleasant people nearby

Disappointing

The staff was cool, very friendly The hostel is not too far from the center

Too much noise in the neighborhood, I couldn’t sleep all night, some guys were drinking, playing, yelling all night just near the hostel. Not enough bathrooms: One restroom and 2 bathrooms for more than 16persons

The hotel is absolutely great, way above the expectations.

Very kind staff, great rooms, really pretty and cozy, comfortable bed. Very convenient bar downstairs for a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Highly recommend!

The worst hostel I ever tried

The location and the service

①Too noisy! The soundproofing here is very poor. I can hear doors opening and closing in the corridor at night. ②Poor sanitation. I have skin allergies after my stay. And I doubt if their sheets are clean

Nice place, decent and one of the best prices probably

It was a good hostel close to the subway and tram stations. Rooms and beds were relatively clean. I liked it there but the shared bathrooms was weird in how they were positioned but that’s ok they provide all the amneties.

If you wanted to bring and eat your own food, there is no decent place for that
