12 minutes to the east gate

The host family is super nice. 12 minutes to the east gate of Taj Mahal, we could safely reach Taj in the night before sunrise. Great view from the rooftop. Spacios room, we get the one facing the street with balcony. It was clean.

Walls are paperthin, they arent even walls. We could hear literally everything happening in the next room and on the streets. Windows are not closing properly, we had mosquitos at night. Breakfast was very simple, not worth the price. Why not serving on the roof? Then it would worth even double. We had to ask the hosts to turn on hot water for shower.

Dirty. Dirty floor, dirty carpet, dirty bathroom. No hot water - owner forgets to switch on water heater and you find out this when you are in a shower. Downtown area with nice rooftop restaurants is far.

Very good

Taj Mahal is 2-minute walk away. The host family was extremely nice, warm and welcoming. Our room was big and spacious. Breakfast was simple but very fulfilling. We had a good chat at breakfast. They helped us book a car and spoke to our driver when we needed help clearing up a few issues. We felt like staying with relatives.

The bathroom is a bit small with no separate shower.

A home and very safe environment, very close to the Taj Mahal and not far from the Agra Fort! Just notice that Google maps doesn't show the location fully right but a few hundred metres away ;)

great location. quiet, comfortable and perfect for our needs.

We had a lovely couple of days at Sunita homestay. Guru was super friendly, the room was clean and offered everything we needed. we were accommodated and catered for very well after check out until it was time to go to the station. thank you for sharing your home with us.

We loved our stay in Sunita homestay. Everyone was so friendly to us and we were given lots of recommendations for what to do and when to do it. The food was also amazing and very reasonably priced too which was great. We really felt at home, we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. We would definitely stay again if we returned to agra! Also the location is perfect, its a 5 minute walk to the Taj Mahal, which you can also see from the rooftop!

Had a nice and comfortable stay

Spacious room was given to us which felt like home. Clean room and bathroom. Able to watch Taj Mahal from the room balcony. Walkable distance from Taj mahal. Nearly equidistant from railway station, bus stand and Agra fort.

I really recommend this homestay. Guru is really very nice, attentive and benevolent. He was like a dad to me. the room was clean and I felt like home there. I'm really happy with this moment.

room for improvement with no excuses

great location. host helped us find hotel when lost (it is marked differently on google maps). easy booking of taj tour they host.

AC is extra charge and necessary due to room being extremely hot (this info is listed in the fine print). should be included in room rate. gave our laundry at 8pm, was shown drier and told “2 hours”. 14 hours later we left with wet clothes - excuse given that it was not sunny. very dirty duvet. host fairly argumentative when we raised issues - talked over us.

Loved it! The facilities are basic but this is easily compensated by the host family. Super nice and friendly family, great food, very homey feeling indeed - and in short walking distance to the Taj Mahal gate. Highly recommended!

It is located very close to The Taj Mahal. The hospitality given by the property owners Sunitaji and Mr. Guru Doyal was remarkable. I always felt like home.

It’s nice to have the room cleaned every day and make the TV functional for entertainment.

Hospitality of the owner of property,ambience inside the room,more information sharing for new visitors

No mirror in the living room Location of one ceiling fan needs to be shifted to bed center mirror position in toilet is not upto the mark

Mr Sunita is very helpful and well-organized. His wife prepares great meals and he will feed you generously. The rooms are spacious and the location is good to get away early to the Taj Mahal.

Great Homestay, one of the best, great house and family

The home was clean, food delicious, humor is 100%. Sunita & Guru treat us like family and it was a unique experience. I'm only sad that I didn't stay longer to discover more of them. Great atmosphere and a house full of joy ! "The boss is always the boss" :)
