The apartment was perfect for our family needs, and had everything as described in the booking.

The apartment was very compact, had everything you need and was within walking distance to the grocery shops, the ski slopes and also a nice long walk to the city centre. Bus stop near by and only 20 min by taxi from airport.

A home away from home

Location location, 8 minutes from airport, 8 minutes to city, 8 minutes to Santa village, 20 minutes to places without light pollution, walking distance to supermarket and fastfood. Most important, 5 minutes to skii place. What do you expect more. Riikka is so quick on replying my questions and her husband has given me tips on checking the lights and glad to meet their little ones.

Warm house. We end up wearing shorts and t-shirt in the room, feels like back Aussie summer again, by saying that, this is everywhere in Finland based on my previous week's stay. There is nothing I can complain about from Riikka's accommodation.

Very stylish, cosy, clean apartment. Good location. We had an apartment for 3 people. The apartment is small but very nice in an old authentic building!

Disappointing

Huge disappointment!! This was our fourth and last accomodation on our trip through Finland, which needed a bit of re-scheduling at the beginning and Suutarintie was the only accomodation giving me really hard time with that. The apartment is small but nice with a bit of signs of wear and tear, especially in the kitchen and shower. Major disappointment was the sauna for extra charge!! The extra charge is 120€ 😨 I refuse to pay so much for what is litterally at each corner in Finland!! The location is 40 minutes walk from the city centre, nothing pleasant. Also for some reason they keep advertising winter activities from Apukka - which I suspected as some side business or what... oh well... Really do not understand the current 9,5 rating which convinced me to book this place. My recommendation for explorers is to find a place in the city centre with own sauna in the apartment and you will be happier :)

Fantastic apartment just outside of town

Very cozy apartment just outside of Rovaniemi. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Wifi was very strong, no issues. Hosts are easy to communicate with and very nice, even helped with tips on finding the norther lights and activities in the area. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here, especially if you have a car, but even without one the bus stop and market are very close.

We never meet the hosts, but communicated through booking/whats-app and they where very friendly and fast in answering all our questions making it very easy for us.

The stove in the kitchen seems broken. We tried to boil water for 40 minutes, but the water never boiled.

Excellent location with access to all required amenities!

Cosy, clean, just out of the city centre but bus stops just across the road. 10 mins away from airport. Just opposite a supermarket. Has everything you need and the host was lovely and informative.

Best place in Rovaniemi!

Everything was perfect! Spotless clean, well equipped and filled with lovely details (welcoming box of chocolates, little xmas tree...). There is a supermarket (K market) right in front so you can buy anything you need. We loved to stay by the frozen lake. Also, the owners are just THE BEST, they maked everything possible to ensure that we saw the northern lights after our failed attempts with touristic agencies. On our last night we went to Apukka resort, by their recommendation, and finnally saw them! It appears to be the best place around to see auroras and have a warm drink. You should really stay in Suutarintie appartments if you want to feel cared for and want local advice.

As said, everything was perfect.

Friendly and helpful host and the sauna was nothing short of amazing! Nice location as well, peaceful and away from the centre but still close to the necessary stores. Great outdoor surroundings with numerous possibilities and bus stops close by.

Nice place to go see Rovaniemi in winter

- Very comfortable place in Rovaniemi traveling single or in a couple - An impressive 4* hotel level services: bedroom and kitchen with coffee and tea in place, good wi-fi, very very clean inside

- Very late check-in, which is understandable, but because of that I could not leave my bag and was going around the town with it half-day - The location is in the middle between town center and Santa’s place, so far to go either way, if you are not calling a taxi in advance - buses are not going regularly - Shower is a little bit too old and working not quite well, but the water was hot and cold as needed
