The property was great as the views were breathtaking, the villa was quite spacious and comfortable. The only thing lacking was air conditioning in the kitchen and dining area. Nicole the chef was outstanding, engaging and lots of fun. She made the Villa Alfresco an experience to remember. Gerald, the custodian, was always willing to lend a helping hand and provided constant care on a daily basis to see if anything was lacking. The experience was beyond expectations. It was the first time we rent a Villa and didn’t know what to expect. The only drawback was the hot tub which didn’t work well. We highly recommend the Villa for large groups.

Great stay. Staff very helpful. We had two first class catered dinners provided by Nicole who was a gem throughout our stay-property is fantastic, but a little dated and grounds need some work. Overall very good experience and as advertised.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Villa Alfresco. The chef, Nicole, who works with the villa, prepared a private dinner for us and hosted a cooking class with us and our kids. She is INCREDIBLE! Nicole was seriously the best thing about the whole trip and experience! Her food is amazing and she was beyond lovely with us and our kids. She made this special birthday cake for my mom and we had the best night celebrating.
The villa itself is very large, including the massive kitchen. The pool and view of Montecatini alto are incredible also. The outdoors could use a little refreshing...the facilities are pretty worn down (like the cabana space by the pool), and the bathrooms are outdated. They provided towels for the bathrooms and pool, and had a cleaning person come twice during our stay to do the basics. The showers are really small and the water temperature was spotty (would go from scorching hot to freezing suddenly.)
The first floor with the 3 bedrooms has a hall bathroom and one bathroom in the master suite, which we found to be inconvenient since the other 2 bedrooms did not have en suite bathrooms. The mattress in the master bedroom was so hard we couldn't sleep in it (and we like a firm mattress.) The toilets in general are old and hard to flush. The A/C worked well in all the bedrooms, though.
Overall, the villa was easy to access and comfortable for our group. Would definitely recommend, but could use a little love!

We had two other families enjoy the house alongside us, 14 people in total. We had an unbelievable time. The villa is absolutely amazing with picturesque views. We had a private chef, Nicole cook a few meals for us that was beyond 5 star in taste and variety. Thank you for an unforgettable 3 days at Villa Alfresco!!

Words cannot describe how beautiful this property is; it was truly a dream come true. We will cherish our experience at the villa for many years.
We booked for 5 nights to host our micro wedding with 28 guests. We loved having the ability to let our closest friends stay and enjoy the property with us. Each couple had their own room and bath, providing both comfort and privacy. We had plenty of privacy in the master suite, equipped with a dining and sitting area, which also made for the perfect bridal suite where we had hair, makeup, and got dressed.
Stunning views from each room (some with balconies) and throughout the property were the star of the show. All of our guests could not stop talking about the views and how beautiful the property is.
The cherry on top was private chef Nicole; she was phenomenal! Nicole went above and beyond to ensure we were more than taken care of, including helping me find someone to do my nails 2 days before the wedding. We had a welcome pool party the day before, and Nicole made delicious pizzas for everyone, accommodating dietary restrictions for some of our guests. For the wedding, she flawlessly executed decor (menu cards, candles, florals, plates, napkins, etc.), plus appetizers, a three-course meal, and dessert. We received many compliments on how good the food was, especially the dessert. My personal favorites, the mini cannolis and Millefoglie cake, were truly Michelin star level.
We would highly recommend the villa to anyone!

We recently celebrated our wedding at Villa Alfresco and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality; Alessandra the host, was very accommodating and ensured that every detail was perfect. Gerry, the property manager, was a huge help with check in and showing us how things worked at the Villa.
The true highlight of our stay was our chef Nicole Taddei who prepared us breakfast and dinner throughout the week. Her culinary skills are unmatched and every meal she prepared was a masterpiece. Additionally, Nicole went above and beyond by helping us book our photographer, florist, and band, making our wedding planning stress-free. She helped us plan everything and e-met with us several times prior to our arrival to ensure we were aligned. She was an absolute delight to have around; her vibrant personality brought joy to every meal. The cooking class she hosted for us was a memorable and fun experience that our families will cherish forever.
The villa itself is breathtaking. The massive pool was perfect for relaxing, and the scenery of Montecatini provided a picturesque backdrop for our intimate wedding. The dining areas were elegant and ideal for our celebrations.
Overall our stay at Villa Alfresco exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany. Thank you Alessandra, Gerry and especially Nicole for making our wedding week so unforgettable!

Our group of 13 people recently stayed in this beautiful villa in the Pieve a Nievole area of Tuscany, and it was an unforgettable experience! The villa comfortably accommodated our large group with plenty of spacious bedrooms, comfortable living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and lots of bathrooms!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff and their genuine hospitality made us feel like family. The villa itself is a dream! Breath-taking views from every angle, incredible amenities, and it's a perfect space where we could all be together or take breaks apart. The private swimming pool, overlooking Montecatini Alto and the valley below, provided a tranquil escape and hours of entertainment. Tennis enthusiasts among us enjoyed time on the tennis court.
The villa's central location made day trips to Lucca, Florence, and Pisa super easy. Although the highlight of our days were spending evenings at the villa eating dinners under the wisteria and sipping wine by the pool. A completely enchanting villa that will make any trip to Italy even better!

We had an amazing week at Villa Alfresco - the property was amazing, especially the pool. Guiseppe the property manager was a star - he cooked for us three times and it was delicious and helped us with everything we needed. The area is also spectacular - the medeival town nearby is charming and full of great options and the house provides a good jumping off point to explore tuscany.

To say the views were stunning would be an understatement, waking up and looking over the Tuscan countryside and up to Alto and down to Florence were speechless. We had 12 and never felt crowded . The pool was huge and we spent time in and around it enjoying the warm weather. The kitchen was also a bonus as we had two in our group who fed us on several occasions. We were also able to have a chef come one night and make an incredible three course meal for our group. She spent time describing how she made each course and how it touched her on a personal basis. One of our group was even allowed into the kitchen to watch and assist her as she prepared the meal. They assisted us in having the kitchen stocked with things that we would need for our first night upon arrival. They were also able to setup transportation to and from the train station and had two tours set up for us so that we did not have to concern ourselves.

Everything we dreamed of and more. Alessandra (host) and Beppe (site manager & chef) were extremely helpful. We opted to have Beppe cook for our group on the final night and it was delicious (well worth the value). We were above impressed with the Villa, views, sleeping accommodations, property amenities, and more. Highly recommend.

We had a great couple of days in the villa! The house has nice characteristics and all the facilities to spend time with a group of people. The view from the serre is amazing so having diner is already an experience. The flexibility of the owner makes it possible to arrange everything in the way you want, so only positive vibes!

Amazing Experience
We had an amazing experience at this property this summer! The grounds were beautiful, and Allesandra the property manager was extremely helpful with helping us plan experiences and chefs dinners that we will remember for a lifetime! As far as the dinners that were arranged, we cannot say enough about Chef Nicole who is very talented and is so sweet and engaging, we will be trying to replicate her dishes at home. Wonderful experience for us and our group that stayed at this villa- thank you!!
