Villa Sistine, is a lovingly restored 15th century villa situated in Tuscany, just north of the medieval city of Lucca. Set in a large estate with a beautiful Italian garden and private swimming pool, the villa is ideal for events, large family gatherings or group holidays. You will find shops and restaurants in Lucca (9 km), beaches in Viareggio (35 km) and the must-see cities of Pisa (28 km) and Florence (92 km) are within easy driving distance.
The (1000 sqm2) villa consists of a main house which develops over three levels and two lemon houses. Beautifully restored, the villa retains its 15th century style with a double staircase up to the entrance and still has many of its original features - including splendid frescoes dating back to 1600/1700, cotto pavements, wooden beam ceilings and marble columns.
On the ground floor, you will find a cellar which extends the villa. On the left of the cellar, there is a kitchen, a dining room (for 16/18 people) and a bathroom (with toilet). To the right of the cellar, you will find a kitchen, a lounge (with sofas) and a bathroom (with toilet).
An external staircase leads you to the entrance on the first floor. Here, you will find a dining room (for 14 people), a kitchen which opens onto a shaded terrace and a study (with a desk and large sofa). In the sleeping area, there are two double bedrooms (with double bed), one twin bedroom (with two single beds) and three bathrooms (with shower).
On the second floor, you will find a large fitness room (with gym equipment including a cardio bike, running machine and multi-gym), four double bedrooms (with double beds), three twin bedrooms (with two single beds), three bathrooms with shower (one ensuite) and one large bathroom (with a bath and shower).
Outside the villa sits in a 10,000 sqm estate with a beautiful Italian garden, a private swimming pool (13 m x 6 m; depth 1.1 – 1.6 m; open 1 May - 30 September) and two lemon houses ( one of which has a table tennis and billiard table while the other has a kitchen for cooking lessons and pizza parties). A large grassy area surrounds the pool (with sun loungers and umbrellas); one of the lemon houses has table tennis and billiards while the other is perfect for events or reading and relaxing. On the first floor, outside the kitchen, you will find a large, covered terrace perfect for Al Fresco dining (with a table seating up to twenty people). The property also offers an external Jacuzzi tub and pizza oven.
