Good spot and bigger than most of the hotels in Spain

We really, really liked this Pension. They treated us very well, a comfortable room with no road noise issues, low prices, and great food (dinner and breakfast) in the restaurant on the main floor.
We took the boat to Pontecesures, stopped to see the church in Padron, and then walked to this Pension.
Easiest way to get here, we guided by Wise Pilgrim and Google maps, we stayed on the camino until the camino was uphill but a little past this Pension, then we came off the camino, down the hill and walked about two blocks back to get to the Pension.
They ran out of lentil soup very quickly, so we didn’t get to taste it! Very good food in the restaurant!

Easy check in, nice ensuite
Slightly noisy from the RN busy road. Roadhouse so not the best views/setting

convenient, clean, comfortable bed.
4.5 / 5.0
Really good room considering the price, spacious and with a comfortable bed. Full bathroom with a bidet too.
I really appreciated the restaurant downstairs, tasty local food at a very low price.
Friendly and helpful staff.
A bit of noise from the busy road nearby if you leave the window open, with lower temperatures maybe it wouldn't be a problem.

Very easily accessed off the Camino. Room was more than adequate and there was a restaurant beneath the rooms. Yes it is on a main road but you know this when booking so don't be surprised about road noise, it isn't to bad anyway. I found the place very good value for the money.

Great value for money and a good choice if you're walking the Camino (200m off path) with a restaurant available for meals at a very reasonable price and enjoyable (lunch menu €10). We took the boat to Pontescures and walked to the Pensión the same day.The Pensión's restaurant is frequented by locals and is popular. We were offered a broad range of dishes to choose from (more than we could manage). Staff were run off their feet but did their best. A very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Our room was on the side of the building as I expect others are too (not main road facing) so we didn't have direct traffic noise unlike some accommodation places seen further along the walk. The bathroom is spacious but lacking hooks or a towel rail which can easily be remedied.
I'm uncertain what the 'sofa' is referred to in the room's description (no sofa in the room) - not an issue for us.
What we didn't enjoy is the smoke wafting down the passage and into our room. It's not a smoke free environment and our bedroom had an ashtray in it. This did not match my expectations of a smoke free room.

I was walking the Caminho, when I stayed there.
A family owned little place (excellent room with private new bathroom), and they have a little restaurant down stairs. I have to say, it was 20€ for the room(!!!) On booking. com, And 18€, for 3 dishes, a dessert, glass of wine, a beer, 1.5l water, 2 bags of chips and half a baguette sandwich for the morning. I really recommend it. The family is very nice and helpful, and it's right off the Caminho.
That's the only place I'm gonna write a review for on booking. com.
Surprising and really passed my expectations.
This place is well worth it! 🙃

for a Pellegrino it’s difficult to reach as it’s not on the Camino path

Easy check in , helpful staff, great menu del dia. Just a very short distance from the camino de Santiago, and easy to rejoin. Room clean and spacious, food freshly cooked and delicious, the guy who is in charge will point you in the right direction for the last stage of the camino.
At 20euro for a single and 10 euro for a menu you'll be missing out if you dont do it.
Nothing not to like here

clean and friendly stop near Camino
4.0 / 5.0
The location is very near Santiago and the price is quite smaller then the ones you get asked at the city. If you are travelling by car, this is in fact a good, very affordable option. (I have stayed here before when doing Santiago's Way on foot and that is also a very nice option)
Not being aware while booking that breakfast (requested as an extra option during the booking process) wouldn't be available on Sunday. (neverthless the property quickly got in contact with me to inform of that)

It’s a good option to stay if you want to skip Padrón and have a shorter way on the last day of the Camino. Good price for the room and fairly clean
Would have been good to know that on Sundays they open the bar at 10am so we couldn’t have breakfast and it’s kind in the middle os nowhere so you need to start the Camino without having breakfast. Anyway we found a cafeteria after walking 1.5 or 2km

Lunch and dinner downstairs were homemade delicious! For 9 euro you can get huge lunch plus wine. The owner was very friendly AND SPOKE ENGLISH (something you rarely see in Spanish touristic accomodations). It is close to the Camino and a good option for those pilgrims who want to skip Padron and have a shorter walk to Santiago on their last day of Camino. I would definitely stay there again.
