Chill Out zijn 6 losstaande bungalows in een net onderhouden tuin waardoor je heel snel een gevoel van privacy hebt. Onze bungalow was echt top!! Beste bed wat we hebben gehad tijdens onze reis. Zitje voor de deur was ook prima.
Wat het verschil echt maakte was het personeel. Super aardig en extreem hulpvaardig!! Iedereen sprak goed Engels. Niets was te gek om het naar je zin te maken.
De bungalows horen bij het gelijknamige restaurant wat direct aan het strand ligt. Je krijgt als gast 10% korting en ze hebben gratis strandbedjes voor de gasten.
Het eten in het restaurant is erg goed. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en inclusief bij de huur van de bungalow.
We komen zeker nog een keer terug als we weer naar Gili air gaan!!

The staff is great, everyone has a smile and good vibes all the time. The restaurant is amazing, food and drinks (the bartender made me “micheladas”). The room was very nice and clean. The beach is cool for spending the day doing nothing than eating and drinking if you want to. Germán and ALL the staff help on whatever you need at all times. My wife and I had a great time there.

Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Schone kamer en badkamer met voldoende accessoires.
De ligging van de accommodatie, direct aan het strand, is werkelijk uniek.
Het ontbijt was meer dan voldoende.
Het restaurant was meer dan goed (vooral de bbq), zie ook de beoordelingen van de overige restaurants op het eiland(je).
De receptie stelde niet veel voor maar dat schijnen te gaan aanpassen.
Op het hele eiland is niet veel te beleven, maar juist dat is na een rondreis Bali wel zo fijn.

Meget fine hytter med lækkert “udendørs” badeværelse. Restauranten er fremragende med stort BBQ med lækre friske fisk hver aften. De har borde helt ned til vandkanten.Personalet er meget dygtige og utroligt smilende og venlige og man bliver altid mødt med et stort smil ! Vi spiste alle måltider i vores 4 dage på Gili Air på restauranten - den er ganske enkelt enestående !
Stedet hjalp med kontakt til bådsmand og snorkleguide til god pris, og vi havde en fantastisk tur, hvor vi så 12 - 15 havskildpadder, smukke koralrev og fisk.
Jeg kan ikke finde noget negativt ved stedet !

We loved that we could walk out of the accommodation into the ocean and go snorkeling.
Breakfast was good as was the restaurant at Chillout. The Bungalows are lovely, and we loved the outdoor bathroom.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
Loved the hot and cold water in your room for drinking and making a cup of tea and reducing the need of plastic bottles.
The bed was comfortable and great daybeds on the verandah.

Very charming, clean and beautiful little houses. Across the street is the best bbq restaurant of Gili air! Staff are super friendly! The breakfasts is huge and is served right on the beach

Best place on the island especially for families. Best swimming and snorkelling just out the front. Room was big and so clean. We love the outside shower. Unlimited drinking water and beach toys and sunbeds were a bonus. Amazing restaurant and huge breakfast. Would highly recommend

Snorkelling in your own beach…!!!
Have to get to the Gili Air Island via a speed boat and the boat can drop you exactly in front of the hotel’s restaurant. The snorkelling area is right in front of the hotel and they provide masks for rent at IDR 25k and fins at IDR 25k as well.
This is the best spot in the entire island to do the snorkelling where there is a reef as well in front of the hotel, hence you could catch a lot of variety of fish in to your GoPro…!!
• Round the clock staff who are responsible for this make sure that all areas of the hotel meet its quality of cleanliness, rooms are cleaned everyday by default and if you require privacy and the room to be untouched, you have to let the front desk informed in the morning.
• During Ramadan, breakfast buffet is not offered, however they have 4 set menus that you can order from. Also, they have a dinner buffet and nice promotional offers during the happy hours, which is between 4pm to 8pm.
• All the rooms are bungalow type rooms that are behind the restaurant area with quiet and privacy.
• All rooms had an unlimited water, tissues, bodywash, liquid soap and shampoo. However, they did not have Dental Kit or Sanity Kit. Fresh towels are provided in three categories such as Face Towels, Regular towels for bathroom and Beach Towels for relaxing in the beach, right in front of their restaurant.
• Tea/coffee and Creamer are also placed in the rooms along with two 600ml water bottles and a kettle.
• Every room comes with a TV and Hot/Cold water for showers. Modern spacious bathrooms and separate safe keeping facility are also available. WIFI is also provided for every room and it is superfast.
• Value for money was satisfying regarding all aspects of the hotel.

Amazing location with really good snorkeling right off the beach (walk 5 mins to the left when facing the ocean before you get in). we paid for a private snorkeling trip through the hotel (they showed up 30 mins late, which was annoying because we were trying to go early to beat the crowds and paid extra, and ended up leaving at the same time as the public tour), but said that the snorkeling off the beach was better than any of the stops on the boat tour. easy to walk anywhere on the island. got a massage at their spa that was really great. breakfasts were quite large portions, but the choices are very limited if you are staying for multiple nights. the staff were very helpful and always willing to help with things like laundry. the room was functional with a good AC. I highly recommend staying here on Gili Air!
be sure to check your bill at check out—I charged my massage to the room and they were charging a 10% service charge on it. they fixed it when I complained, so be sure to check. for the price point, a pool really should be included. very minor, but a clothesline in the bathroom would be good to hang swimsuits. also, a mirror in the main bedroom to do things like makeup (the outdoor bathroom gets quiet hot) would be a nice addition. we used the beach loungers daily, and one day while we were out to lunch they gave away our seats and took our towels. we had specifically told them we were coming back (and they seemed to instantly realize their mistake when we showed back up), so I would recommend making sure you have a reserved sign on your chairs.

Lovely little villas set back from the road, but still super close to the beach. Very comfortable and well equipped. The room included a small fridge and a drinking water station that offered cold and hot water (19L). Beautiful outdoor shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Organised cheap laundry, bike rental and snorkelling trip. Lovely staff out front at restaurant - great food and so great with my 5yo daughter. Easy walk or bike ride to everything on the island.
At all other times, it was pretty quiet within the villas, but on our last night there they seemed to celebrate Friday night a bit too hard. Pounding music reverberated through the villa until 3am. Not a good way to finish our holiday.

This is absolutely the best place to stay on Gili Air as it has everything you could wish for. The staff were amazing with special mention to Herman (super helpful on organising trips, etc) and our mate Ozzie, who perfected our English accent and was great fun 🤩. Bungalow was in a lovely quiet setting and super cleaned every day.
Great location for the beach and snorkelling snd we were picked up for a snorkelling trip right from our beach.
Breakfast and restaurant were fab and reasonably priced and we ate here most days.
Thank you to everyone at Chillout Bungslows, you are all amazing and we hope to return one day!

excellent restaurant right near the accommodation but far enough away not to be noisy and you can leave the kids to sleep while you have a drink if you are inclined to do so. Staff were really helpful

Perfect location - close to the harbor, restaurants, and snorkeling right in front of the property. Drinking water dispenser provided in the room, decent wifi in the room. Great vegetarian options at the restaurant.

Best location on the island for snorkelling off the beach. Walk easily to see sunset (sunrise is on this side).
Great breakfast, cold air conditioning, clean bungalow and lovely bathroom (most are not!!) that was cleaned every day.
Staff were so friendly and recommend asking them to organise bikes and snorkel tour.
If a nearby bar has a late night party the music is loud.

+ same owner has a coconut spa for massage and it very good
- There is really nothing to complain. We absolutely loved everything. But for the sake of waste reduction, would be great if Chill Out can replace the plastic straws by re-usable ones.

absolutely best location and beach on the island. we loved our clean gorgeous bungalow and the daily service was exceptional. All the staff became our friends within the first day and knew and catered to our likes. … especially all their yummy foods and cocktails at happy hour !!
there wasn’t anything we didn’t like but an extra bench or something on the bungalow to just pop out things on would be helpful

bungalows have a charming flair and were functional and clean.
Ihsan’s service was amazing. he is a super friendly guy with a permanent smile on his face.

The hotel rooms/bungalows are located just behind a beautiful beach. My bungalow was spacious and clean with quite a big bathroom. The hotel restaurant has lovely view overlooking the beach. Herman the Manager was helpful in organizing bile hire, trips etc. Overall the staff were friendly. The location is quite near to the ferry port- 5-10 mins walking. If you haven't got much luggage, don't waste your money on the horse and cart. Although it is nice to do once for the experience.

Really lovely welcoming staff who were very attentive and helped sort out activities and laundry for us. Bungalows were very clean and comfy. Perfect location by the beach really good snorkelling right out the door and nice beach to relax on. Breakfast was very good and had a good selection of food and drink.
