Very nice stay and friendly staff.

Location, room view and decor

AC in the room would not cool under 25.5 even after the staff tried to help. Frigobar does not cool drinks enough either. Room needs a bit of maintenance around the AC, fixing, painting.

Great central hotel to explore Modica

A lovely hotel very central in Modica, the staff were friendly and informative and we had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the cathedral

Beautiful view

The staff works hard to make a pleasant stay. The view is gorgeous.

Neither the ac nor the refrigerator we’re working. The hotel has super modern fixtures that are hard to use. The location while beautiful is so hilly it can be hard for older people.

Disappointing

The view from our room was beautiful especially at night, we had a great balcony. The room was small but had nice conveniences. Location was good but a lot of steps to climb if you want to walk down to the city center. Breakfast was nice.

The room was too hot because the AC was not turned on for the season. We opened the balcony doors but since we needed to close the curtains it still was not cool enough for sleeping.

Definitely memorable. Very quirky room!

We stayed in a room called the "2001 a Space Odyssey". This is really a quite quirky room. Red lighted bathroom. Back-Lit 6 foot picture of a spaceman, alien, earth, etc., hanging over the bed. A Shower wall that could be pulled along a track. Glass type flooring. Obviously a room that had a gimmick! Breakfasts were attended by a very prompt, courteous waiter. Breakfasts included a nice array of food---eggs were hard boiled.

Disliked · Sometimes the front desk clerk was not at the desk so people would just throw their room keys on top of the desk and leave. I find this to be a security issue as each key had the room number on it and anyone coming in or walking by could casually pick up any room key and enter that room.

Amazing Views

The view from our balcony was very beautiful,be it sunrise/morning/night. All rooms have different and unique styles. Rooms were always super clean,friendly staff especially Berto and good value for money

Room 12 review.

I loved the high tech in room 12 Some of it didn't work. The floor should up! The view from the balcony could not be bettered. I loved this boutique style hotel. I would stay again anytime. Great.

Floor lighting needs to be fixed. Touch sensitive switches can be confusing.

Room was comfortable and the balcony offers some lovely views. Breakfast was okish but nothing to write home about (some items e,g bread and fruit were stale)

The room may require some maintenance especially in the bathroom (e.g shower tap dislodged) and toiletry provision extremely limited (shampoo and 1 small soap).

Below standard, surely overrated , far from a good stay.

Great Location and great view from the breakfast area and from some of the rooms.

The hotel is very worn out, with plenty of damages and non functioning elements, especially the electricity system. There are "domotics"panels which are not even turning on. The first room we saw had a filthy carpet full of staines, the beds looked like foldable cots. We asked to change room and the second one was simply very dirty, missing pieces here and there, rusty and dirty shower. Really not up to standards, surely not up to the rating it has on booking. Cherry on the cake was the breakfast where we found a mouldy orange in the fruit plate. The staff was helpless, trying to do their best but without means to make it happen.

superb hotel with good views and really wonderful staff. had an excellent room with lovely lighting. breakfast was excellent

one day there was a lack of hot water but I believe this was an issue in the town

Good value for money

The location is excellent, the view from the room and the breakfast lounge are astonishing. Very generous breakfast included in the rate

The rooms’ furniture looks out of date; the carpets in the rooms are not clean. The electric shutter of our window was messed up

Very luminous room with great facilities. Balcony overlooking both the cathedral and the city. Central location.

Amazing location on a hill in the center of the city, overviewing both the cathedral and the whole city. The hotel has a very cool design with modern facilities and pur room had a great balcony.

Very disappointing stay

The staff were friendly and helpful. room was quiet and bed reasonably comfortable.

This was one of the most disappointing 4* hotels we ever stayed in. The room was tatty and needed to be repainted. The shower was extremely small. The breakfast was very poor. Sadly Would absolutely not recommend this hotel

Great location but lacks maintenance

Super location, great views from the balcony and roof.

Hotel lacks I little maintenance and starts to show it’s age. Beds in superior rooms was hard, only 1 shared cover in the double bed. Not the best WiFi in some rooms. No cold beer or drinks at all to be purchased, but we where of season.
